I want to start by saying they're a breakfast spot and I dined at Mimi's Cafe for dinner unplanned (it was raining and I was nearby.) I decided to try their dinner menu since I've enjoyed their breakfast in the past. Well, their dinner is just not it. I don't recommend it. Also, the bathrooms need major maintenance. Even my six year old mentioned how dirty they were. Anyway, would I go back? Yes, only for breakfast and they should really update and clean their restrooms. read more

Had a good experience at Mimi's Cafe overall. The food was good and the service was friendly. My only issue was that when it got crowded, our server wasn't as attentive and ended up forgetting a few items we had ordered. Great place to go for breakfast. They have a good selection of breakfast items, I've had a few different ones over the years and they are generally all really good. Their muffins are fresh and delicious. Service is fantastic, our server was very friendly and attentive. Bathrooms were pretty clean as was most of the restaurant. I came here for lunch with a friend. It wasn't too hard to find parking. However, we had to wait for a table since it seems there wasn't too many employees although there were plenty of tables. Service was good although it was a little slow. The seating was a little tight. We ordered the Crab, Shrimp & Bacon Pasta and Chicken Pot Pie. Both were delicious. This review is based on a catering order for two pans of mashed potatoes and one pan of green beans. I placed the order online the day before and selected a pickup window of 3:00-3:15 PM. I arrived at 3:17 PM, only to find that my order wasn't ready. The hostess checked with the kitchen and came back to tell me that the kitchen manager, Jesus, would start preparing it at that moment. I was confused and frustrated--why wasn't the order prepared in advance for the scheduled pickup time? The pans came out one by one: first the mashed potatoes, then the green beans about five minutes later, and finally the second pan of mashed potatoes a few minutes after that. Altogether, I waited roughly 15 minutes for items that should have been ready upon arrival. These sides were for a potluck for a group of high school students, and the delay caused me to arrive nearly 20 minutes late. This experience was disappointing and unacceptable. Mimi's needs to do better with fulfilling scheduled catering orders. read more

So much food to choose from! I love the seasonal menus too. Love the $7 mimosas and the sweet plates for breakfast. Only one thing to point out, some savory dishes may have a little too much salt for me like the salmon and onion soup. Other than that, the place is very cute inside. Pot Roast is not the same anymore. It's more like a Vegetable Beef stew with Mashed Potatoes. I guess that's why they are calling it French Pot Roast The Pot Roast used to be served as a big mountain of Beef that would be so tender that you just pull apart with your fork to eat it. But now the meat is almost shredded and drowned in an overflow of Vegetables and dark gravy. Smaller portion of Beef but the price isn't way over the top. It's a 3 course meal for approximately $30 ... The bread is still the BEST thing ever! The flavor of the Beef and gravy is more bland than it used to be. I noticed the crowd of patrons has even changed. The ambiance reminded me of going to see my grandma in her elderly housing complex. So, it really gave off safe, comfy and grandparent vibes. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Mimi's Cafe on Mother's Day. This restaurant has always been nostalgic for me growing up, which made this experience even more upsetting. I made a reservation for 12:30 PM, but when we arrived, we were still told to wait in a long line. Despite having a reservation, we were not seated until after 1:30 PM -- over an hour later. There was little communication or organization from the staff during the wait. Once we finally sat down, we were informed that only a limited Mother's Day menu was available and that we were required to purchase a full 3-course meal. When I politely asked if I could simply order one item instead, I was told no because "the computer would charge for the full 3-course meal anyway." At that point, we decided to leave. The staff came across as disorganized and rude, and the entire experience completely ruined our Mother's Day plans. Very disappointing experience, especially from a place that held so many good memories for me. read more

I love the look inside. Felt like a little cottage but super spacious and a lot of tables. Good for large groups. Our waitress, Darlene, was awesome. She was able to help us order as the menu is so big and everything looks delicious! She kept our drinks filled and constantly checked on us to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. The pot roast was a little salty, but that's expected for a French chain like this. The French onion soup isn't bad they use a lot of cheese. She checked in on us at just the right times, kept our drinks full, and made excellent menu suggestions that we loved. Kaylee's friendly personality and genuine care really made our meal feel special. It's rare to find someone who strikes the perfect balance of professionalism and kindness, but she absolutely does. Came here for dinner with my Mom and Son and it was great. Ordered the chicken tenders with fries for the little one and he enjoyed it, especially the ranch. As for myself and Mom we shared the Bacon, Bleu cheese, Walnut Chicken Salad. That salad was everything we didn't know we needed for dinner. We also ordered their Buffalo Wings and they did not disappoint. Our waiter was very attentive and took good care of us. The bread and butter was on point and refills for our drinks too. First time coming to this place, and unsure how I feel about retuning. For starters our waitress was a little rude. I can't for the life of me remember her name. She was rude and would walk away as we were talking. She was blonde/brunette with big glasses. The restaurant itself was pretty cute inside , it was like a little cottage. The food itself wasn't that great, we ordered rotisserie chicken that came with mashed potatoes and veggies. And that alone was super greasy it was like a little bed of oil on the chicken. We ordered a medium rare steak and it was a little on the super raw side lol. I also ordered some pasta the pesto pasta and it was needing some flavor and some more chicken, considering they charge for protein. The salmon bowl was ok, and so was the eggs Benedict. read more
