First time trying after hearing about it. The place looks small but there's so much room. They easily accommodated my group of 7. And they have outdoor seating as well. This was my first time visiting this place. I had never heard of it until I searched for the best French toast spots near me. I was surprised to see they have multiple locations. Since I live in Montebello, I visited the Bell location. It's unfortunate that my overall experience wasn't as great as some of my fellow Yelper reviewers. The restaurant is bright, colorful, and has a fun pink theme. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a display of pastries and desserts. It was really busy when I arrived, but since it's in a strip mall, parking was easy. The gentleman at the front was very friendly and welcoming. He quoted a 25-30 minute wait, but I was seated in about 15 minutes. I asked to sit in a nearby booth instead of the table I was originally assigned because the view was directly across from the restrooms. The server hesitated for a moment, probably because it was in another section, but she accommodated the request. She wasn't rude, just a little reserved, while the host definitely set the tone with great customer service. I asked if they served café de olla, and I was told they only offered it as a latte. I had already ordered regular coffee, but after tasting it, I found it bitter and watered down. I later ordered the café de olla latte, and unfortunately it had the same watered-down flavor. Coffee just isn't one of their strengths. For my meal, the carne asada was very overcooked, dry, and tough and a small portion. The server even noticed it when she brought the plate out and offered to have it remade. Since I was hungry, I declined at first, but after trying it, I realized it really wasn't edible. When she checked back, I asked if I could get a different side of meat instead. She happily let me keep my plate so I could eat my omelet while they prepared the replacement, which I appreciated. I will say I really did enjoy the red sauce, it's almost like I had a red cheese enchilada in an omelette. That flavor was pretty good. Overall, my experience was okay. The atmosphere was nice, the host was excellent, and the server ended up taking good care of me. The food was average, and the coffee was disappointing. I'm glad I gave it a try, but I don't see myself coming back anytime soon. read more

I was pretty excited to try this place... and then I got there lol. I ordered online from home, drove 10 mins and STILL waited more than an hour in person. The layout is so confusing too. It's two restaurants in one with basically no signs so everyone's just standing around asking each other "is this the line?" Not a great look. They also didn't know what I ordered and had me show my receipt then came back and double checked AGAIN like 20 minutes later. Then when they thought my order was ready, they called me up and I'm like oh I'm missing two drinks. Instead of them saying oh really which ones? They said no, you didn't order that. I had to pull out my phone and let them see my receipt loll... and that order wasn't even mine LOL. So I still had to wait. I will say the guy in charge was visibly stressed and gave us free treats as an apology for the wait which was genuinely a nice move and probably kept this from being a 1 star review. But when we got home most of the order was wrong and honestly it wasn't even that good. I do think eating in person would probably be a totally different experience though because the ambience was actually really nice! Like the vibe of the place itself was giving a lot and I could see it being such a good time if everything else was running smoothly. Waiting almost an hour for takeout really killed the mood though. My advice is you NEED a check in system for walk-ins. It would make everyone's lives so much easier. The potential is definitely there I just hope they figure out the operations side because right now it's a lot. read more

Service could be better and more friendly. Bellflower location is better (quality and attentive wise). My server today was kind of rude and dismissive. Didn't check up on us not once after she put our plates down. I had to get up and let the manager know myself that my dishes were wrong or else I would've waited a long time to be helped. My eggs came back cold, my "country" potatoes were salty and looked like they came prepackaged. Don't recommend. We got a table then the manager hand us their menu and we're looking at the menu then the waiter came to get our drink order and the manager brought us two freshlly warm concha we thank him.. My wife order the chilaquiles with egg and I order the Brioche French toast combo. The restaurant have vibe that's the people enjoy the restaurant and food and Mexican sweet bread and cakes that come back for more and the staff are very friendly and helpful with anything you like with a smile. The waiter brought our meal it look great especially the Brioche French toast combo looks so good including my wife chilaquiles with eggs she love eggs on everything. The Brioche French toast was incredible good a flavor in the Brioche that's pop's out when taking a bite combing with the eggs and sauage I really enjoy it. My wife enjoy her chilaquiles with eggs come wbut she say it have a little kick to it I mean little bit spicy. We enjoy the food at The Loaded Cafe we will come back and try different items from menu before left my wife order a bean and cheese burrito for $5 to take home. I came here with my mother to check this location out and it's nice. I order the menudo and for me it was too spicy for my liking. When I ask for extra harmony our server came back and gave me a little portion. I was very disappointed and will never order a Mexican dish from an American Cafe. I like to pay credit where it's due. Most dissatisfied I've been for quite a while. Unless you stick to bacon eggs and pancakes. It's my 3rd experience and not once satisfied. Tried both chilaquiles red and green and equally distasteful. I never like discrediting these places but I feel offended to have to pay such prices when they clearly never intended to put some heart/science into their cooking. The chips for such are also way too big to chew into, the sauces are like gravy canned sauce if that makes sense, and they use LOTS of Monterey Cheese. Never a good sign there. The conchitas from "Panecito" that they either sponsor or bake themselves have good flavor but the texture is the driest bread I've ever had. Visited loaded cafe today for the first time to celebrate our grandma's birthday. Heard about their sister bakery 'Panecito' via social media our cousin saw and found that there was an attached cafe which we decided to try. Got there around 11:15am and we were seated quickly for a party of six. Service was absolutely amazing! Shout out to our waiter Julio who went above and beyond for us! Seriously had great attitude and attentiveness for us. He went the extra mile to get us a little something for our grandma to sing her happy birthday which meant a lot. Give him a raise and employee of the month!!! Our party had a mix sweet and savory dishes. We ordered crepes, French toast, menudo, and tacos ahogados. I went with the Dulce de leche stuffed French toast combo Julio recommended and was impressed. I really liked my plate. Family members thought their plates were okay. I also got an ice coffee flight, the horchata one was the best but the other two were okay. I like that they give you a conchita basket for the table which is quite unique. The seating area is on the smaller side so in peak hours can possibly expect to wait a while especially for big parties. Restrooms were clean, and plenty of parking as it in the plaza in Bell where the boba loca is and also where home town Buffett used to be. Thanks again Julio, you're the best :D read more

I have been to quite a few of their other locations and this one maintains the same level of quality in their food. I usually go very early, minutes after they open, and it's usually no wait and fast service. Also, the server Donato provided excellent service as well as all the cooks for making good food. The chilaquiles were not it. They were not authentic felt more like nachos than quilaquiles. Avocado toast was also a no for me. It was guacamole underneath which they put lime in. Avocado toast should not have lime. I think for desserts and sweets it's ok but not for food . read more

The chilaquiles were bland and rubbery. My son's "kids chocolate chip pancake" was just a regular pancake with chocolate chips sprinkled on top. If you sit outside in the morning, be aware that there's no shade and the sun will hit you directly. The Loaded Cafe in Gardena and Lawndale is better NOT Bell. I'm glad the city of Bell allowed to develop In&Out on Atlantic in Bell it's across the street from Loaded Cafe to receive really cooked food and Great customer service. read more
