Food is really good. I had the chilaquiles the first time i ate there. The second time I had the pozole. Both were a good size plates well served, really good flavor and prices are affordable. The cafe the olla is really good and they have refills. Service is great, all servers are really nice, and they ask often if you need anything or refills. The owner is really nice , he makes sure you are well served. Ambience place is colorful, Mexican theme, open, clean. I like the place and they have a lady that will sing and play any of your favorite songs. I really recommend this place.

First time at this restaurant. I'm an early riser, so it's hard to find good restaurants open early. This place opens at 8am! Service was excellent. The waitress was attentive and made suggestions. I ordered the chilaquiles rojos and my husband ordered the huevos rancheros. Both dishes were plated with beans, home potatoes, a chile "toreado" AND a quesadilla! My husband's also came with tortillas. First of all, the chilaquiles were crunchy and delicious! The red sauce is tasty and not spicy! The beans taste homemade and NO LARD! The quesadillas are filled with Mexican cheese, tasted like machengo cheese and seriously the tortilla was a little crunchy which made it even nicer with a little crunch. However the star on my plate were the potatoes! And for the record, I'm not a big fan of potatoes. Most places under season or under cook them, but these potatoes are PERFECT! They are covered in a savory tomato base salsa that's rich and peppery. I can't explain it, but please try them when you visit. For drinks we had cafe de olla and a chamomile tea. Love that they have these too options. We don't live in the area but will be making the trip to go back!

Riquísimo! Vibe: comfy, casual, Mexican, authentic Service: 5/5 very attentive Food: 4.5/5 Courtesy chips and salsa started off well because the salsa was goooood.. we finished it quickly My plate was the chilaquiles and they were fire. Love that it came with a quesadilla Cafe de olla great Points taken off because the syrup was really thick it took awhile for it come out of the bottle *my mom came back the following Sunday and ordered menudo.. she said it was so good like if she made it* Overall, really great and delicious! I recommend!

Such a lovely restaurant with good service, food and atmosphere. They even have a stage for what I'm guessing is some performances. So cool. The parking is in the back.

Came here on a Saturday morning for our first time. The place is a little hole in the wall but they offered great service and amazing authentic Mexican food. The cafe de la olla was delicious.! The pozole was sooo tasty.

We had a really pleasant experience in our first of many visits we will be making. We walked in and were greeted by very friendly and attentive staff. The decor and ambience made us feel like we were visiting family in Mexico, and the food tasted homemade! We each ordered orange juice with our breakfast and were pleasantly surprised it was freshly squeezed, adding to the homemade taste of our breakfast. We had the chilaquiles rojos and costillitas de puerco en salsa roja.

Food is very good and portions are very generous. El agua de pepino/limon con chia is so fresh and tasty. It doesn't taste machine-ish it tastes freshly hand made. The green chilaquiles were spicy, tasty and satisfying. The pancakes are def better than ihop and dennys. The male server was very nice too. I love that they have GRADE A which means The restaurant is clean, up to code, and free of violations, seeing that makes the place more inviting. Oh and who ever makes that salsita they serve with the chips it's top notch. Bien picosita. Leaving with a full tummy

Went in for Mother's Day with the family. They had karaoke so it was extra fun. The plates are served generously. I ordered the costillas and chile relleno plate. It was delicioso! Will be returning very soon

If your on a budget or wanting something quick and easy I can recommend this place a thousand percent the staff are so friendly and the restaurant is always clean and the workers make you feel at home and treat you like family. I've been here so many times and the food never gets old and always taste so home made and great. The ambience is so nice and you don't feel cramped or stuffy and your always treated with respect and I can say this is one of bell's hidden gems, such a small city and yet rare places like this that are so great.

I totally loved this place the ambience was just right. Their cafe de olla so good!! And they offer refills. And the waitress was so nice and attentive. I am coming back and trying more of their meals!!

Desayuno de huevos rancheros is served totally different from what the business owner uploaded in photos.

My dad ordered the Ceviche Nayarit, I ordered the Enchiladas La Casita Mexicana and my wife ordered the Enchiladas Tres Moles. The ceviche tasted fresh, but not really my favorite dish were had. I would say the Enchiladas Tres Moles was my favorite dish we picked. My only problem with that dish was that I wanted more. The plate they served it on made the 3 Enchiladas look small. Customer service was great. Food was great. The interior/exterior was really nice. If you have dogs the patio section in the back is where you'll want to eat from. Great experience. I'd come here again.

I heard about the owners, former chefs or…read moresomething, not 100% sure BUT something along those lines, they were making OG mole so I had been wanting to go there. I forgot exactly what I had, I want to say it was bistec ranchero or something like that. it was good, nothing bad, but also felt average. They served us chips with mole on top and I was like, why did they pour mole all over, bring a little bucket of mole and let me dip it on the side. That's what a good Christian would do, but no, they went with an anti-Christian practice here, communist almost. don't assume I want everything with mole. I would have been ok with it if the mole had been bomb ass good, but it was ok. I had heard this place used original Oaxacan mole or something so I was hyped. My wife had some eggs with whatever the heck a Filipino woman orders at a Mexican place and she's was fine. I feel bad about this review, maybe this place is a victim of its former reputation, and I was expecting very good Mexican food and all I got was OK Mexican food. Also, for a true Mexican spot, you need to have café Mexicano, with canelita and the waiter told me they didn't have any. How can this be? I do not approve. Maybe if you are white or non-Mexican or a fake Mexican, I think you would have a different opinion of this place, you might think is great, just like El Torito is. Am I confusing this place with some other restaurant because the place I heard of was in Bell and the cooks/chefs were this renowned chefs and I don't think that's the case here or now. For sure, this place is not bad and I don't think you will get bad food, it was just underwhelming.

My favorite appetizer are the Molletes which are toasted bolillos with chorizo and bean spread topped with cheese and pico de gallo. My favorite plates are the Carne en su Jugo, which is pork in green chilli sauce, and the Albondigas beef meatball soup. The soup is plentiful and doesn't disappoint in flavor. The meatballs are tender and have a perfect flavor profile of herbs and spice. Honestly, nothing disappoints here. The Pollo in Mole is also delicious. The tortillas are fresh and hand made. The Pollo con Rajas is creamy, cheesy, flavorful and the chicken has always been juicy underneath all that sauce, cooked perfectly. I've also had the teak tacos and they're filling, tasty, and a perfectly compliment to anything you will order. The sides are usually rice and beans and they've always been perfect. The rice is soft and the beans are addicting. Javier is always warm and friendly, he does an amazing job with his restaurant.
