Food is really good. I had the chilaquiles the first time i ate there. The second time I had the pozole. Both were a good size plates well served, really good flavor and prices are affordable. The cafe the olla is really good and they have refills. Service is great, all servers are really nice, and they ask often if you need anything or refills. The owner is really nice , he makes sure you are well served. Ambience place is colorful, Mexican theme, open, clean. I like the place and they have a lady that will sing and play any of your favorite songs. I really recommend this place.

First time at this restaurant. I'm an early riser, so it's hard to find good restaurants open early. This place opens at 8am! Service was excellent. The waitress was attentive and made suggestions. I ordered the chilaquiles rojos and my husband ordered the huevos rancheros. Both dishes were plated with beans, home potatoes, a chile "toreado" AND a quesadilla! My husband's also came with tortillas. First of all, the chilaquiles were crunchy and delicious! The red sauce is tasty and not spicy! The beans taste homemade and NO LARD! The quesadillas are filled with Mexican cheese, tasted like machengo cheese and seriously the tortilla was a little crunchy which made it even nicer with a little crunch. However the star on my plate were the potatoes! And for the record, I'm not a big fan of potatoes. Most places under season or under cook them, but these potatoes are PERFECT! They are covered in a savory tomato base salsa that's rich and peppery. I can't explain it, but please try them when you visit. For drinks we had cafe de olla and a chamomile tea. Love that they have these too options. We don't live in the area but will be making the trip to go back!

Riquísimo! Vibe: comfy, casual, Mexican, authentic Service: 5/5 very attentive Food: 4.5/5 Courtesy chips and salsa started off well because the salsa was goooood.. we finished it quickly My plate was the chilaquiles and they were fire. Love that it came with a quesadilla Cafe de olla great Points taken off because the syrup was really thick it took awhile for it come out of the bottle *my mom came back the following Sunday and ordered menudo.. she said it was so good like if she made it* Overall, really great and delicious! I recommend!

Such a lovely restaurant with good service, food and atmosphere. They even have a stage for what I'm guessing is some performances. So cool. The parking is in the back.

We had a really pleasant experience in our first of many visits we will be making. We walked in and were greeted by very friendly and attentive staff. The decor and ambience made us feel like we were visiting family in Mexico, and the food tasted homemade! We each ordered orange juice with our breakfast and were pleasantly surprised it was freshly squeezed, adding to the homemade taste of our breakfast. We had the chilaquiles rojos and costillitas de puerco en salsa roja.

Came here on a Saturday morning for our first time. The place is a little hole in the wall but they offered great service and amazing authentic Mexican food. The cafe de la olla was delicious.! The pozole was sooo tasty.

Food is very good and portions are very generous. El agua de pepino/limon con chia is so fresh and tasty. It doesn't taste machine-ish it tastes freshly hand made. The green chilaquiles were spicy, tasty and satisfying. The pancakes are def better than ihop and dennys. The male server was very nice too. I love that they have GRADE A which means The restaurant is clean, up to code, and free of violations, seeing that makes the place more inviting. Oh and who ever makes that salsita they serve with the chips it's top notch. Bien picosita. Leaving with a full tummy

If your on a budget or wanting something quick and easy I can recommend this place a thousand percent the staff are so friendly and the restaurant is always clean and the workers make you feel at home and treat you like family. I've been here so many times and the food never gets old and always taste so home made and great. The ambience is so nice and you don't feel cramped or stuffy and your always treated with respect and I can say this is one of bell's hidden gems, such a small city and yet rare places like this that are so great.

The menudo is so delicious I want more ! Not fatty whatsoever and smelly . One of my favorites of all time . I also tried the birria which was just as great . The service was outstanding - warm genuine welcoming smiles all around . Thank you guys for making us feel at home and wish the best .

For us, that's El Ranchito in Huntington Park. It's a family-owned, authentic Mexican restaurant that has had the community on its back for the last 6 decades. They hand-make the tortillas right in front of you, serve up fresh chunky guac, and make their iconic Mama Avila's soup fresh daily. It's rare that a soup has me hitting a stank face, but here we are. The Camarones al mojo de ajo is a can't miss appetizer. It's succulent shrimp sauteed in butter and fresh garlic, made to be eaten with the piping hot homemade tortillas. They have all the traditional Mexican dishes, my brothers go to is the chile relleno, but I always just run the fajitas. I'm sure I'll get clowned for this, but nothing heals my trauma and existential dread like a plate of sizzling fajitas. My pops has worked in the area for longer than I've been alive, so El Ranchito has seen every iteration of me, and of my family. For that, I am grateful. The meatballs are tender and have a perfect flavor profile of herbs and spice. Honestly, nothing disappoints here. The Pollo in Mole is also delicious. The tortillas are fresh and hand made. The Pollo con Rajas is creamy, cheesy, flavorful and the chicken has always been juicy underneath all that sauce, cooked perfectly. I've also had the teak tacos and they're filling, tasty, and a perfectly compliment to anything you will order. The sides are usually rice and beans and they've always been perfect. Service is attentive, the food has its charm with in-house made tortillas. It really was a hard review to write because all the elements of a great restaurant is embodied in this hidden gem. I chalk it up to ordering the wrong items. The flavors did not pop for me. Hubby opted for the chorizo and he said it was decent and he described it as "diet chorizo"--that he'd probably needed to go back to Sinaloa to capture the true essence of "real" chorizo, the way it's meant to be. The star of his meal was the in-house made flour tortillas-now that's authentic! This is/was the reason that it leaned towards a 4 star. These looked and tasted phenomenal. The aroma took me back to the times when we visited Rosarito's Puerto Nuevo, as the lady made the tortillas by hand & pressed them in the comal, ahh, good times. I ordered the vegetarian omelette with beans & potatoes. The omelette was decent with fresh bell peppers & onions but the seasoning was so mild that I requested for salt & pepper. The potatoes appeared well seasoned in color but lacked that oomph that salt & pepper couldn't fix. My apple pancakes were average. While I appreciated the strawberry compote, there was no apple or apple taste in them. To wash everything down, I had cafe de olla, that was good. The aroma of the brown sugar & cinnamon was ever present. Estrella, our server was very welcoming, attentive and friendly, she gets 5 stars for her service with a smile & hospitality. Their lunch & dinner menu looked very appealing but we wanted breakfast items. We wish we were both molé enthusiasts then perhaps we would've better appreciated & enjoyed those offerings. Both indoor & outdoor seating (front & rear), parking is free & shared with their liquor store at this corner small plaza. Beware, no restrooms available. I'm glad we gave this little shop a try.
