Day 2 in a row coming in and....... I love it! The coffee is bomb. Like legit good coffee! Music is nostalgic if you were listening to the radio in the late 90's early 2000's ( looking at you millennials). Vibe is super chill they have a cute "friends" theme going (how you doin?"). I was great here just like their service! Will be back very soon!

Amazing coffee, incredible pastries, and the best seasonal drinks! Their fall and winter themed beverages are creative, festive, and not too sweet. I really enjoyed the characters on the coffees we ordered. They also have tables and a small seating area for families

Wonderful neighborhood coffee shop that has an obvious friends name, ha ha. Really friendly people aware with fun drink creations. The vibe is really chill with some fun music and a nice cool spot, especially during the hot time. They have Wi-Fi and a good amount of tables for sitting. I wanted to try the rice crispy latte because I was curious on how they would pull that off. It's basically a couple of chunks of rice crispy treat on the top. The drink itself was tasty. Definitely an indulgence as I usually like my coffee pretty bitter and not too sweet. But a fun drink nonetheless. Also, great place where I got a little work done. The street parking is pretty abundant so there's that as well.

Cute little coffee shop. They started their "Nightmare Before Christmas" decor with Halloween decor and a talking Jack. Very small place. Was a little warm inside so not very comfortable for drinking hot coffee. Coffee was good and smooth- I ordered an iced cinnamon latte and my daughter had a hot latte. Treats were okay- kids had cupcakes (see pic) and I had flan. Nothing outstanding. Decently priced. Service was okay- very difficult to hear or talk to girl behind a plastic wall and inside noise in such a small place. The iced lemonades for the littles were a little sour... one kid loved it but the other found it revolting. ‍ I would go again just for the coffee. My little wants to see Jack again One star off for meh pastries. One off for inside temperature and noise level (it was fairly busy so quite a few people).

1st visit = Good 1st impression. I Ordered the Manager's Wrap simply because I wanted to eat chipotle and avocado (2 of the ingredients listed). 2 words: Not Disappointed. The spinach wrap was warmed nicely. Wrapped a generous portion of chicken, tomato, onion, etc. Lot of sauce, creamy & very flavorful. Service was prompt in taking orders. The added fact that the cafe has a lot of rendetions to F.R.I.E.N.D.S is an added bonus. Staying true to cafe culture. Lots of seating and room for studying, chatting with company and or just enjoying a sip of coffee solo.

Really good! You can't see it but both had toppings! Would definitely recommend! Perfect level of sweetness and coffee taste. The inside is also Friends theme!! So cute S'mores latte- 9/10 Choco Banana- 8/10 Inside- friends theme! Really cute! Good amount of seating. Parking- street parking available. Can be limited but we were able to find some.

Came here for breakfast to get a quick bite to eat. It's a small local coffee shop that serves all these interesting lattes. It's super cute with all kinds of friends decor and references. I order a choco banana latte, that was delicious the latte included cut up bananas. It was the perfect balance. The right amount of chocolate and bananas. I also ordered two sandwiches with a blueberry muffin. I had the turkey bagel sandwich with avocado it was pretty tasty. The blueberry muffin was also really good. Service was great! I asked the waiter what was the most popular items on the menu, she was so helpful guiding me through the menu. When I'm in the area I'll definitely be back.

So I don't know what this place looks like on a normal day. Because it is TikTok famous and I went on a Sunday afternoon when it clearly had been busy all day. TikTok mislead me. This is not solely a Nightmare Before Christmas themed coffee shop. It is a kitschy coffee house with eclectic decor, leaning slightly toward Nightmare Before Christmas. I got a lavender iced matcha latte with a Jack Skellington appliqué. My daughter got an iced hot chocolate with the same appliqué. We tried a jello thingie and tres leches. Everything was fine. The bathroom was out of service and seating was at a premium. As was parking on Sunday. People working there were friendly. They seemed organized. But it was just too busy and some items had run out. I went but am not sure it is worth the trek out there. If I loved closer, I probably would go.

the service was great and friendly, with quick answers to recommendations! very cozy but not that spacious. my first time drink was the banana latte and it's the perfect balance between sweet and strong

I came to try this coffee shop and they have great decor! I loved the coffee shop as it had lots of seating however the staff seemed very rushed as it did start to get busy. Due to them being very busy they were out of straws and napkins and had to wait for them to replace them. The bathroom was also out of order so we had to stop somewhere else. My shaken espresso was very good but it had too much ice for my preference. The decor on the coffee was very cute but I suggest asking for light ice especially on smaller sizes for coffee. They have great themed drinks which is very nice for the season.

It has that small, local neighborhood feel that I always appreciate. Parking can be a little tricky. There's no stopping right in front of the cafe, but I found parking down the block. They do have a back door, and I noticed quite a few customers coming in from that side, so they may have parking in the back. My first impression wasn't the best because the tables needed some attention, especially with the cafe being pretty empty when I arrived. I did a mobile order and it took about 30 minutes, but I ordered food too, so I completely understand that food orders can take a little longer. I ordered: Chicken Mole Burrito $9.50 Papas con Chorizo Burrito $6.75 Café de Olla $6.50 Mexican Mocha with cold foam $7.25 I usually stick with a Spanish latte, but I wanted to try something different. The Mexican mocha wasn't really for me, but the Café de Olla was pretty good! Now the FOOD... 10/10! The burritos were so good and had that authentic, homemade Mexican flavor. I honestly never thought I would say I had some of the best chicken mole from a coffee shop, but here we are! The mole had so much flavor, and I would absolutely go back just for the food. The staff seemed a little tired or maybe just having a long day, so the service felt a little quiet. I also overheard that they stop serving food at 11 AM, so definitely keep that in mind if you're going specifically for the food. There's something special about finding authentic Mexican food in a neighborhood coffee shop. The food was definitely the highlight for me, and I'd come back to try more from their menu!

Seriously, the space itself is so cute. They have art on the walls, and so many books for sell. The shop is small though and I don't believe I saw tables to sit. I think it's more of a grab and go. Regardless, the shop feels very welcoming. On top of that, service is great! Everyone was super friendly and attentive. We ordered two ice cream sandwiches and we didn't realize how massive they were!! Chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream - can't go wrong with that! Delicious. There's a lot I want to say about this spot but I'm a try and keep it short lol…read more My first time visiting was this past Sunday, May 31st. I had my whole day planned out with a list of events to attend but first I wanted to stop by Patria and grab some coffee to start my morning off. Located in a parking lot next to Wilson Park on Compton Blvd and Alameda Street you'll find this nice cut lawn in front of this small white building, Patria Coffee Roaster. Depending on your time of arrival, the parking lot can be full but it's cool cuz there's also street parking available. I was able to park in the lot. After walking in I was welcomed and greeted with positive energy from 2 young ladies who I forgot their names but we'll just call them "A" and "C" lol. A guy to my right was sitting next to the window working on his laptop. And two others against the wall sipping their coffees and doing whatever on their phones. A customer was at the register ordering while another customer walked in to stand in line behind me. I let her go in front of me while I took pics and recorded footage. I like the atmosphere and space a lot. It has a very nice decor. Artwork, pictures and murals with history displayed along the walls. Grab and cold drinks available for purchase. Nice music playing that wasn't too loud but just right to complement a chill coffee shop vibe. "A" was friendly and patient as shared with her this was my first visit. As I browsed thru the coffee menu before making my selection I noticed more costumes coming in. I ordered a medium sized Americano which is $3.75 but I requested to add some hazelnut creamer as well as some almond milk which totaled out to $4.75 which was quite exceptional to me. Giving the location, the quality of service and the quality of the coffee. Not to mention to overall experience. I even thru in a $1 tip. I support the business and love the space. It feels welcoming and safe. The restroom was clean. They also have many different events held there. If you're ever in the area definitely pull up and check em' out. It's black owned as well. I actually ended up sitting there in the lot sipping my coffee while working on my video to post on social media. The coffee was good and tasteful. Didn't need any sugar. Great vibes and great coffee. You can even go the park right next door and get your steps in or just chill. I definitely recommend coming here. If you're passing thru the area or coming to the city, do yourself a favor and pull up. Check em' out. Grab you a coffee or something. Prices are reasonable and the community is welcoming to all individuals.
