The food is always fresh and delicious. Luckily service was superb because it was a nice late dinner. The ambiance is calming and enjoyable because it feels like home. Gotta come and experience it for yourself.

Amazing experience from start to finish. You can really feel that this is a family-owned restaurant--the care and attention shows in every dish. The ahi tuna was fresh and flavorful, the salmon was perfectly cooked with a delicious sauce, and the lasagna was rich, cheesy, and a standout. Everything tasted homemade but elevated. Great food, warm atmosphere--I'll definitely be back.

I really love this place. Compared to the pasta places in DTLA it's one of my favorites for a quick bite during lunch. Every time I've been their service has been quick and friendly. It's clean in the inside and also has a nice cocktail selection to choose from. I haven't been here for dinner but definitely love coming here for lunch during work. Highly recommend their linguine arrabbiata if you enjoy a mild spice.

Amazing restaurant in Lynwood located on the corner of Imperial and MLK. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. Fresh bread while you wait for your order. Their Margherita pizza is the best . My son likes to add pepperoni. He is a very picky eater but says La Pasta is his favorite restaurant. Have tried several pasta dishes and they're all delicious. Absolutely must try if you're in the area.

I am blown away. This gem. Very very pricey. Very delicious. Not expected at all in the area. Its like artisan level food here. Traditional oil/vinegar for the delicious pita cake looking bread. it looked overbaked, some pieces slightly too crispy for my taste but the taste was wtf amazing. unfortunately Im a butter dude, i dont like how oil feels on my lips and black vinegar is ick to me Chicken Cognac $27 - Flattened chicken cuts kinda meh but the mushroom sauce was sublime. The veggies were firm but seasoned just right, and that sauce on anything was phenomenally yum. The closest i could compare the shroom sauce to might be the steak diane sauce at Cheesecake factory but while theirs is savory rich, this one has like depth. Fettucine Alfredo $24. my friend said it was good. and he eats good food....that his mom cook. but the way it looked im coming next time foe this. Parking - tiny little lot shared with other tiny shops Bathroom - single occupant Service - dude this guy was a boss, remembered everything our 14 person party would ask for and i dont remember seeing a notepad. The way he spoke and recommended things was kind and gracious, not pushy at all, just downright pleasant. which in turn just makes a pleasant dining experience.

Good spot for pasta in Lynwood. They have plenty of parking in the evenings. The service was excellent. The decor is nice, like a modern Italian restaurant. The bread they provide is made out of the pizza dough, and it was good! We tried the eggplant Parmesan, the Ribeye Steak, and the Vodka Penne. All were good, but the steak was my favorite. The cognac mushrooms were super flavorful. I practically licked the plate clean. Definitely recommend!

LOVED THIS PLACE! From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. They had a bunch of roses and heart decorations for Valentine's Day and there was plenty of available seating inside. Elgar greeted me warmly and was incredibly helpful and kind throughout my entire time dining in. I asked whether I should get the Chicken Cognac or the Chicken Parm and he suggested the Cognac, which was BOMB! One of the best chicken dishes I've had in quite some time. The chicken was cooked to perfection, the sauce was just the right consistency, and both the potatoes and veggies were well seasoned. Lots of food and great quality so you feel as though you get your money's worth. They also bring out complimentary bread with oil & vinegar which hit the spot, kudos to them for making sure the bread was fresh, warm, and soft with a nice crunchy exterior. Totally going to check this place out again when I'm in the area. Shoutout to Elgar for the phenomenal service and the chefs for whipping up such a delicious meal!!

I looked up this place and decided to give it a try. The food looked really good on the pictures some real authentic Italian food. I placed the order picked it up. It's a small place but with plenty of seating if you're looking to dine in with a lot of wine selection, I tried the penne and pink sauce. My wife had the lasagna and we shared the small pepperoni pizza and I must say I was impressed, especially with the penne and lasagna. It was really delicious. I'll definitely be placing orders and coming back here again.

This was a lavender lemonade type drink my friend ordered, it was yummy. It too sweet and just a lil tart

I've have passed by this place many times and came on a whim for dinner tonight. Everything was fantastic. The ambiance was nice, music was wonderful, servers were so friendly and attentive. Most of all, the service was fast and the food was delicious. I am so pleased, this really hit the spot after a rough week. I will definitely be back to try more!

Overall food was just ok. Considering the high reviews I was expecting better tasting food. Only the Bosciola was delicious. The food is not overly salty and not oily. It at least tasted healthy.

This place a frozen "Italian food" I was so disappointed with the "food" the cheese sticks looked and tasted worse than the carls jr next door. Look at this lasagna? There's not layers of meat, cheese nor sauce. It was just as you can see layered pasta with no flavor. Can Italian food is better than this. The service was good, the lady at the register was nice. The place is cute and quaint but omg the food is terrible. The best part of the meal was the free bread and the Diet Coke I had. Don't waste your money.

It felt like a hidden gem with people having a good time drinking, dancing (a few people), and enjoying each other's company. The wine menu was extensive. There's something for everyone. Reds, whites, dessert wines, etc. The price was great. I only wished I had bought the bottle. By time I was on my 2nd glass I could have spend $10 more to get the bottle. Oh well next time. They also have a monthly membership that has some pretty good perks. The service was great and we even got to meet the owner. Very nice woman who was welcoming. You can tell she put a lot of time, effort, and thought into her business. It's a must go to for date night. There's selective days where there's a DJ playing music.

I came alone to enjoy a quiet evening and try their wines, drawn in by the strong Yelp reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was uneven. I arrived without a reservation on a busy Saturday night and was initially told there were no tables available. Thankfully, another patron kindly offered me their extra small side table allowing me to stay - but I watched several groups get turned away at the door. Moral of the story: make a reservation. This place seems much better suited for larger groups, events, or celebrations than for solo visitors. Service felt stretched thin. The staff were pleasant but clearly affected service - they could definitely use more help on busy evenings. When I asked about a wine flight, I was told they were too busy to prepare one. Five to ten minutes later, I watched another table receive flights without issue, which was disappointing and made me feel overlooked as a single patron. I ended up chatting with a nearby group of six women who were also there for the first time based on reviews. We agreed the space is gorgeous and has potential, but our experiences were just "okay" overall. It's a beautiful spot with great music and atmosphere, but the operational hiccups and reservation policy make it tricky for walk-ins or solo guests. I probably wouldn't return personally, but if you're planning a group outing or special event, book ahead and you might have a much better time

Waiter Manuel. This…read moreis a review reflected on you, solely. Being kind is the moral of the story, from the beginning you were passive agressive with your comments and tone. Being in a party of 4 girls coming from high tea, we were dressed in elegant dresses, first comment was asking if we were coming from church, followed by eye flutters, short "okay" with an upward inflation to a joke about the day, an impatient comment about hurrying up and trying the wine while we were talking, asked for water when we were out, were left to pour the rest of our wine, didn't ask how the food was all the while was attentive to the table behind us, the cherry on top comment was when we were discussing the bill at the end, he was hovering at the table behind ours, then when we were ready, we asked to split the bill into 2, my portion on mine and the rest on another card, he then said "this isn't like a drive through, we can't do it that way" so I asked him to explain his comment, cause it was passive agressive and rude. After he wasnt able to becuase he wasnt expecting me to call out his rude comment, I had to then break it down and specify what I had ordered, he then sold "okayyyy....so how much, cause we don't itemize?" I had to again express for him to specify how they do it cause he has still yet to explain where his attitude is coming from and explain how they do their check splits, from my understanding it just felt like he wanted to play dumb and make me to the math, one I did he was like "ohh, okay" should have asked for the manager but we paid and left, I hasnt had this experience before being a returning customer, but he needs an attitude adjustment as his attitude was completely out of pocket. Do better Manuel, you alone got your place of work a 1 star. The rest of the staff was kind, facility beautiful and food and wine was good. This restaurant is not reflected in the 1 star.

They have a nice interior build-out with a huge wine bar, but it was a nice evening and we elected to sit on their spacious patio. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by Sarah, who is the bartender and also manages a couple of nights a week for the owner. Sarah is super friendly, explained the menu and provided great table service. They have a large wine selection. My wife ordered a chardonnay and I stuck with an Arnold Palmer. We ordered their bruschetta appetizer, served as six pieces of toasted bread and the expected toppings. It was a perfect start to our meal. We were not super hungry, and selected a three-cheese charcuterie board. You are able to select your cheeses, and Sarah again helped us make our decision. It was perfect for a summer-weather afternoon (although in March) and we chatted, had our drinks and picked at the board until it was gone. During our meal, Sarah was very attentive to our needs. My wife tried another chard, and we ordered their banana dessert, which had great flavor and was a nice end to the meal. This is a great place to quietly enjoy some wine, beer and food. You probably wouldn't think of one in Valencia, would you. Well, I have been to all of the above and I am telling you, you would be missing out on a one of a kind, out of this world experience that can be had any day of the week at Kindred Spirits, adjacent to the Hyatt Regency. No, I didn't expect it to come anywhere close to the stratospheric experiences you could have were you to choose any wine bar you fancied, but, the minute I got inside, I knew I was in for an unforgettable experience that I will want to repeat. First of all, it's downright beautiful. Flawlessly decorated with a chic living room vibe with just the right elements to suggest a curated museum-level sensibility. See my pictures as well as all the others here on Yelp. I spent the entire time noticing little details like the plush velvet banquet, the clubby wing back arm chairs, the art deco artefacts and furnishings, paintings, sculptures, even the ceiling lights were unique and obviously carefully selected. And then there is the stupefying wine and spirits menu that goes on and on. I rarely drink anything alcoholic but I couldn't pass up a taste of one of the exquisite sparkling wines that caught my eye. There is a full range of everything. If you really must have beer, it's there, but! For heaven's sake, try something elevated -- ask for recommendations. You won't be disappointed. However, the star of the entire experience is the menu. Now, remember, I am a lifelong vegetarian. I had fun limiting myself to four choices -- I could have had more were I not on a perpetual diet. You can see what we ordered in my photographs. Each dish was superb, really, first in class. Nonetheless, take a good look at my photographs of the Autumn Apple Tarte -- it is the g.o.a.t., believe me. Not only did it taste celestial but notice the tiny flowers? The chef, Priscilla, is a highly skilled and trained artist, her medium just happens to be delicately flavored and arranged plates of heaven. And Sarah, our attendant took a concierge approach to caring for us. A cosmopolitan playlist provided a lyrical backdrop that just made everything flow like silk. Parking is easy, simply use the Hyatt Convention Center parking lot adjacent to a verdant golf course or their garage, for free. There are two main rooms and we asked for the "lobby"-like large room with a giant table that we had all to ourselves, given we were there in the late afternoon on a Sunday. Even so, clientele were coming and going. It was the golden hour and we were draped in a warm light and cozy but uplifting spirit. The entire experience was flawless. And the tab? Ridiculously reasonable. You may not be headed to Rodeo or Saint-Germain-des-Prés or West 27th street any time soon. So, instead, treat yourself to this epic wine bar. You will thank me, when you do.

It's a small, charming spot with a relaxed atmosphere. Just a heads up- there's no indoor seating, so everything is outdoors with a small patio setup. That said, when the weather is nice, it's actually ideal. It feels very laid back and intimate, like one of those hidden neighborhood gems you stumble upon. The employee working when we went was super friendly and welcoming, which always makes a place feel even better. The wine I tried was really good, you can definitely tell it's natural wine (in a good way!). They also have small bites available if you want to snack while you drink, though we didn't end up ordering food. Parking is street parking in the area, which wasn't too difficult to find when we went. Overall it was just a really pleasant experience. If you're looking for a casual place to enjoy a glass of natural wine outside on a nice day, this is definitely a spot worth checking out.

I absolutely loved this wine bar. Places like this are a rarity in LA County, and if you disagree,…read moreplease send recommendations my way. The fact that I've passed by this area so many times without noticing this little gem feels like a true tragedy. Though petite and easy to miss, this spot is something special. They specialize in natural wines, thoughtfully and selectively curated since they're not a winery themselves. The selection offers great variety, and because seating is limited, it's very much a first-come, first-served situation, arrive early if you want a seat. There's some indoor seating, with more available outside. The wine servers were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, which made the experience even better. They also host food vendors. There is a sushi spot right next door which is conveniently located next to the theater where you can score discounted bottles if you're catching a movie. Wines rotate as they sell out, so if you fall in love with one, do yourself a favor and grab a bottle before it's gone.

This place is a hidden gem for Italian food…read more Easy parking, cozy inside, and just a really comfortable vibe overall. We ordered the lasagna and Chicken Marsala, and both were seriously delicious. The flavors were on point and portions were big. We even had leftovers for later. Definitely coming back.

First thing I noticed is that it is Sicilian-style Italian food and there are posters from all over Sicily, which was a bit nostalgic for me. Anything from Italy makes me nostalgic. But being in this restaurant really made me feel like I was there. Mi manca l'italia! We were seated promptly by a young man who was molto gentile and were served by a woman working there. I feel bad that I didn't get either of their names but she also was very friendly and helpful in answering any questions I had about the menu and their wine. We started off with some calamari which was perfectly crispy and very delicious. For our entrees I ordered the linguini with clams and shrimp with a class of their sauvignon blanc, and my cousin ordered their lasagna with a glass of chianti. The food and the wine were all so delicious and perfectly paired. I loved finding all the slivers of garlic in my pasta and was even more satisfied to see more shrimp hiding in the linguini. I ordered my dish with the white wine sauce and it was delicious. I did feel like it was missing some flavor, but I'm not exactly sure what flavor that was. It was well seasoned, and garlicky without being overpowering, but maybe some other herb? I'm no help, but I will say I enjoyed my leftovers more the next day. I tried a bit of my cousin's lasagna and thought it was delicious. Personally, he felt there needed to be a better balance of sauce to cheese (he said it was too cheesy/rich), and while I did enjoy the bite I had, I could see what he meant. Good thing we started off with the calamari and some bread because his lasagna was too hot for a long time. For dessert, we split something I hadn't had since I was in Italy over 15 years ago. I did not know what to expect when he asked for the "lemon ice cream" dessert, but now that I know, I'll gladly have one for myself next time. It's Granita al Limone served inside the shell of a lemon. It is DELICIOUS and refreshing without being overwhelmingly sweet or rich. Also, isn't it just cute? Thank you for a lovely dining experience.
