After buying my jacket from Botas Guadalajara, the lady who works there recommended I eat at Panchi's restaurant across the street from them. Panchis restaurant had plenty of parking in the back this Thursday afternoon, and it wasn't busy. The ambiance was excellent; they had excellent classical Mexican music playing in the background, and after seeing some of the customers' food, I knew this would be good. They have an extensive menu, but I wanted to try their taco al pastor and their taco governador. The total for today's meal was $12.75 with tip. While waiting, I noticed they also serve tap beer, and all meals are served with chips and salsa. My meal took about 10 minutes to make, and the tacos looked delicious. The taco al pastor tortilla was a little bigger than your standard taco tortilla and packed with a lot of meat. Al pastor was cooked perfectly, and it had a lot of flavor. The taco governador was cheesy and had plenty of shrimp and flavor. I had a great first experience coming to this restaurant and ll recommend it to friends and family. I highly recommend Panchi's it's a new restaurant in town they have plenty of options, there main is Sinaloense style food which I loved their Chilorio, Caldo de mariscos was excellent and on my 2nd visit to this location I tried for my first time ever Albóndigas de Camarón (chefs kiss) tortillas are handmade, I encourage to try it you won't be disappointed, place is really clean!!! If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I was so excited to come here with my family & try a new food spot but as soon as we entered the energy was horrible. My family and I had drinks from a coffee spot & we're not aware outside drinks weren't allowed since it would've been our first time dining here. We instantly get greeted with the most ugly attitude, they start yelling at us saying outside drinks aren't allowed. As I stated before, we had never been here and weren't aware of this policy. Then another waiter comes and does the same exact thing. At this point I'm annoyed because they aren't even nice about it, just straight up rude and ugly. I'd give 0 stars if I could. I come here all the time with my family but after today we're no longer doing so. Ordered French toast and it had a lot of oil. Restaurant claimed it was the butter. However, before sending the plate back I pressed down on the French toast and a ton of oil came out. I even tried to take some off with napkins but it was too much. After returning the plate I got told it was my fault and next time to order without butter. I also had only ate 1/4 of a French toast and was only given 1 back. When they "fixed it". There's plenty of mom and pop shops around that treat you better and taste better. Please go elsewhere. read more

Hot Salsa is located on Garfield and Rosecrans in the City of Paramount. Next door to Arco and near many businesses. Clean and beautiful inside and out, excellent service, delicious tacos, reasonable prices. Parking can be a pain at certain times. Cost efficient place to take a date or to come eat after work. We are a family of 8 and we all ordered a different plate off the menu and no one was disappointed at all! Tostada mixta, carnitas burrito, camarones a la diabla, sopes de carne asada!! Dec 20,2017 So there are new owners and they have spent some on new decor and lighting which is nice but it stops at the renovation. Still has horrible music playing all the time. Dirty filled bus box of dishes right next to the counter. I ordered a burger and fries. The burger was supposed to be rare comes out well done and dry. Also some type of chopped lettuce with thousands island dressing floating on the bottom of the burger. Burger has no flavor and hard to eat. You will need allot of water to wash this down. French fries no seasoning at all. Horchata is way to sweet. So this place still has shitty food and not worth coming back at all! read more

I wish it would let me submit with NO STARS because this location is one of the WORSE place I've been to I ordered a cheese burger for my little sister and the cheese still had the plastic over the cheese. I tried the sope plate $3.99 and it comes with beans, rice, salad and a huge sope filed with beans, lettuce, cheese, sour cream and tomatoes. (no meat as I'm vegetarian). I tried the green sauce that they put on the side and I was hooked. I was literally licking the sauce out of the plastic container. $4.00 for all that food is just wonderful. Usually when the menu is large they take a hit on quality but so far all the dishes have been a home run. Mixed fajitas is tasty with chicken, asada, and shrimp. I order this pretty frequently. Went here to get some breakfast menudo. Big mistake! Menudo was burnt and it smelled and tasted bad. Tried calling the place to let them know and no answer. Very disappointed. Editing my review. I tried calling again and finally an answer. So turns out they were making a fresh pot of menudo and I was offered to bring back previous order and get new one.
