Came here on my birthday to get some mariscos and had big expectations because I've been to their other location and Hawthorne and I wasn't that impressed. The actual restaurant itself is great! Spacious, lots of room and the servers are very kind! She checked up on my party a lot and made sure we were taken care of. The food itself though, unusually bland. The start chips and salsa were pretty good. For $20 I feel that is not nearly enough shrimp and it wasn't full of flavor for my plate of mojo de ajo. Some of my rice was undercooked and not edible, so I had to push it to the side. The dynamite rolls were great though! Those packed a punch and would definitely come back strictly for those. Maybe I caught them on an off-day, but I can confidently say that I'll give em another shot again once they settle in to this new location more. read more

Decided to come back and was very disappointed with the food we received. My brother got a plate of camarones al mojo de ajo and he stated the flavor was bland and the rice wasn't fully cooked. Their ceviche was mid, it hardly had any shrimp and lacked flavor. For their pricing you'd definitely expect to receive better food.
