Let me start by saying the Micheladas are delicious. The restaurant is clean. Only thing we noticed is why wouldn't they clean the ceiling, especially by the fans you can see the dirt. The service was ok. We went on a Sunday it was slow. Only 4 ppl inside besides us. I am sharing there menu. No prices on them but if u scan the QR code on the last page you can see the PRICES, kinda pricey if you ask me. We had the dragon special roll it was about $25 for 8 pieces, wow. 1 shrimp taco $5.25, also wow it was very basic and bland. Michis, we're about $12 they were the best thing we had. The one star review is because my wife usually orders 2 of the large cups over the phone and picks it up. Today we walked in and ordered there. My wife was surprised because I paid $91 for the two large cups, when we got home she showed me a receipt and she pays $180 for the two large cups: we were both floored as to how much they over charge her for the same order we bought: we are both super upset and will not be supporting this business anymore. Came here on my birthday to get some mariscos and had big expectations because I've been to their other location and Hawthorne and I wasn't that impressed. The actual restaurant itself is great! Spacious, lots of room and the servers are very kind! She checked up on my party a lot and made sure we were taken care of. The food itself though, unusually bland. The start chips and salsa were pretty good. For $20 I feel that is not nearly enough shrimp and it wasn't full of flavor for my plate of mojo de ajo. Some of my rice was undercooked and not edible, so I had to push it to the side. The dynamite rolls were great though! Those packed a punch and would definitely come back strictly for those. Just as amazing as the other 2 locations - I'm always having a hard time choosing between the fried jalapeño, Hija de Chuy, or my new fave; Baked Scallops. Talk about fresh Mariscos! I tried the Agua chiles, Ceviche Mixto, ceviche de camarón and all were amazing! The chips and salsa that are provided upon arrival, are delicious! Decided to come back and was very disappointed with the food we received. My brother got a plate of camarones al mojo de ajo and he stated the flavor was bland and the rice wasn't fully cooked. Their ceviche was mid, it hardly had any shrimp and lacked flavor. For their pricing you'd definitely expect to receive better food.
