Very small almost hole in the wall vibe spot. There's some seating inside but not a lot. The guy is friendly and helpful I believe he was the owner and he made the food fresh. Even recommend we order ahead next time so that we don't have to wait long. Safe to say I'll definitely be coming back and ordering ahead. read more

The service was amazing. The little older man was super sweet and recommended some things after telling him it was going to be my first time trying it. He was super helpful and kind. There isn't really much of an area to sit and eat, it's more for take out. The food was super good! I'd definitely do the lobster roll, probably not the California tempura roll. It was good but I would've preferred it a little more crispier. Also the sauce he put on top was a little too spicy for me, I eat no spicy whatsoever. The regular California rolls came for free since they have bogo free on certain food choices! read more

This hidden gem of a spot is a must-try! Since it's a small takeout joint, you'll want to grab your food to go. The staff's warm welcome and patience with our order made a great first impression. I went for the beef yakisoba - delicious, though a tad sweeter than I'd like (first time trying it!). We also devoured the golden tiger and California rolls (because, well, California rolls ). The golden tiger was a flavor explosion! Definitely returning for more, and be sure to check out their week and weekend specials . read more

It took awhile to get my food. The space is very small. They only have two small tables for seating. When I arrived he was packing an order, and asked me "what do you want?" I'm pregnant so luckily didn't eat the sushi but bought 2 rolls to try the restaurant out for my husband. Wanted to like them so badly since they are 10min from my house. It gave my husband the WORST FOOD POISONING! Even while eating he said it tasted weird and too vinegary but felt bad cuz I ordered it for him (and couldn't eat it myself) so he ate it. I could tell the CA rolls (which I did eat 4 pieces of) tasted weird too. Exactly like a previous poster said "like you could smell fishy-ness." CA roll doesn't even have fish! Lol I thought it was just weird pregnant nose/sense of smell. Don't eat here. Yikes. There's similar sushi places that won't poison you even if they're not the best. So terrible. Wasted money AND horrible weekend of sickness. read more

I've been here a few times and I'm never disappointed. It is a small mom & pop shop in its little corner of the plaza with very kind and friendly owners. Bc it's small, there aren't a lot of tables, but don't worry about getting the food to-go, it'll still taste amazing! I have tried the Orange, Somerset, and Aloha rolls and I would highly recommend those. I don't live around that area anymore, but will always be willing to stop by if I'm ever passing by! read more

I ordered delivery from here and it was absolutely delicious! I was halfway done with my rolls before I even thought of taking a photo. So not like me but yet and still here we are. My favorite was the Baked Lobster roll, so much crawfish on top the California roll was good as well. The chicken bowl was flavorful, the chicken to rice ratio was pretty good. I also got a side of egg rolls it was a great addition to the meal. I will definitely be ordering from here again. read more

So he put some trays to heat and used a microwave to heat something, i payed cause I thought he made tbe correct order, what is my surprise that he gave me the same wrong order i took back, so he reheat the rolls and just put the so called lobster on top of it and i was changed extra for the same wrong order. I ordered the salmon bowl, chicken bowl, shrimp yakisoba, and vegetable tempura. The only thing that saved the salmon bowl was the teriyaki sauce. Everything else was not palatable, to put it nicely. The chicken left a bad taste in my mouth. The tempura batter was to greasy and not good at all, and the yakisoba flavor was off. I won't be ordering from here again, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't. We all have different palates, so you may like it. It's just not for me and my family. read more

Craved some sushi and thought I'd give them a try. Had baked salmon since it's one of my favorite sushi. Theirs wasn't bad but it's missing flavor. I'm not sure if it's missing flavor on the sauce or the salmon itself. Got the tuna roll. Didn't mention it was spicy, or at least I didn't notice. Way to spicy for my liking. Couldn't even taste the tuna. As for the bowls, we got beef and chicken. I enjoyed it but it was a little on the salty side. I'll most likely come back and try out their other sushi specialties. read more

Great food at cheap prices. I had to ask for wasabi and ginger because it wasn't provided automatically with my rolls, but that's my only complaint. Higher quality than other places around here, but with lower prices than most. The lowest I've seen when you take advantage of their weekday / weekend specials. The specials are a free California Roll or Spicy Tuna roll with the order of a Special Roll during weekdays, and a free roll (the cheapest one is free) if you buy any 2 rolls on weekends. I haven't tried the teriyaki yet, but the rolls are great, and have more filling and less rice. More "meat" and less filler, basically, and the ingredients are higher quality than most cheap places, and the seasoning is well done. Not too sour or weird tasting like restaurants who just throw everything together in a rush and are inconsistent with their flavoring. The parking lot is small and so is the dining area inside the restaurant, so it's better to get takeout than eat in however. I've actually gone around to compare rolls at various cheap takeout sushi places in this area, and the food quality and prices of this shop is the best of the ones I've tried, in my opinion. read more

Something was off with crab in the California rolls, we each ate one bite and stopped I smelled the fish, nothing smelled right. The beef teriyaki was somewhere between carbon and plastic, as other states the sauce is good but the meal wasn't. Vegetables were cold, but fresh and the pot stickers were frost bitten but edable. Recent reviewers have described the service as rude, unhelpful, and accompanied by a poor attitude. One reviewer described the service as "awful, horrible, rude service," while another said the woman at the front had a "terrible attitude." Another recent reviewer described the host as rude after being told to wait outside in the rain and wind, and another specifically mentioned that the hostess was not helpful when they had questions. Unfortunately, this makes my experience seem much less like an isolated incident and more like a recurring customer-service problem. My own experience involved someone at the front who was unnecessarily difficult, unwilling to help with basic questions or alternatives, and ultimately refused service when I asked to speak with management. What is even more concerning is that I subsequently tried multiple times to reach management about what happened and did not receive a return call. When several recent customers are independently describing similar experiences with front-of-house staff, I would expect management or ownership to take those complaints seriously. Based on my experience and the pattern reflected in other recent reviews, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere that values its customers and treats them with basic courtesy and respect.

From the promos, my husband ordered the spicy tuna rolls and I got the salmon sushi. And I also ordered a salmon belly sashimi. My husband said there wasn't anything special about the spicy tuna rolls. I did notice there was no wasabi or ginger on the side. I enjoyed the salmon sushi. I like the fish to rice ratio. And the salmon belly sashimi was nicely cut and was thick. It was delicious and was not stringy or grainy like some sushi/ sashimi can be. They also provided a good amount of utensils, soy sauce, and napkins.

The service was ok. We went on a Sunday it was slow. Only 4 ppl inside besides us. I am sharing there menu. No prices on them but if u scan the QR code on the last page you can see the PRICES, kinda pricey if you ask me. We had the dragon special roll it was about $25 for 8 pieces, wow. 1 shrimp taco $5.25, also wow it was very basic and bland. Michis, we're about $12 they were the best thing we had. They have parking on the corner of Rosecrans/Orange on in the back between the park. First time here idknif we'll be back.

I ordered the two-protein plate with chicken and shrimp, plus veggies ($29). It comes with a side salad and your choice of white rice or fried rice. They also have a variety of sauces to choose from. The chicken and shrimp were really good. Well seasoned and flavorful. The soy sauce (I'm assuming) was a bit too salty for my taste, but overall I enjoyed my meal. They do offer lunch specials, and I'll definitely be back to try those. The restaurant is well maintained, with a clean dining area and bathroom.

Then, I'm assuming due to the economy, prices started going up, and they did change the quality of their food to fit the price but recently their burger had a whole overhaul and now it comes with a wannabe gourmet bun, barely any meat, and a huge stack of lettuce. If you are going to eat there, the location is big and has plenty of space. Those would be the only perks for me.
