I brought my youngest daughter here for a late-night dinner, and the music was extremely loud and filled with explicit adult language. It made both of us uncomfortable, and now she cringes every time I even mention coming back. The food is great, but I hope management is more mindful of the music they play. Families with kids come here too, and creating a more family-friendly atmosphere would make a big difference. I'd love to come back if that changed.

I usually order thru doordash & pick up, but the dine in area is very small and cozy w anime figures. again, if it were up to me, I'd only tell close friends about this place but I just needed to give credit where it's due. what shocks me the most is how the fish melts in your mouth, their quality is always consistent. when you order nigiri, the rice is even smaller portioned than the first knuckle of my thumb and the amazing fatty fish is 3x bigger than the rice. amazing ratio. i am loyal to daru sushi forever. god forbid this place shuts down, the only place that would hold a candle up to daru sushi is sashimi from japan directly. i'd quit eating sushi in socal if it meant i couldn't eat from daru again and i mean that. love u forever daru.
