What was most frustrating was that we repeatedly asked for updates and were never given an accurate ETA. Had we known the delay would be this significant, we could have adjusted our plans and informed our guests accordingly. We were also told we only needed to provide tables and chairs, but when the chef arrived, we found out plates and utensils were not included either. I want to emphasize that the chef himself was fantastic. The food was great, he was entertaining, and he handled the situation professionally. My issue is entirely with the company's communication and customer service.
