The girl behind the counter was Effin awesome. I loved her attitude and was soooo helpful. I feel bad for not getting her name. But she rocked!! Food Review: Tacos were man o man... they are a must. I got the chicken tacos with the BBQ sauce. The cream sauce n pico de Gallo was yummy and flavorful. The chicken was juicy and flavorful too. Mac N Cheese was soo good it was just missing a lil pepper lol but over all it was good Fries were hot and fresh and seasoned well loved the fries. Last but not least ....... My Chicken Wings....I got the spicy lemon pepper. The chicken was cooked very well...seasoned to perfection. I love how crunchy it was as I bit into it then the meat was nice and juicy. I loved them. I got the 6 pc chicken tenders tossed in "Cha Cha" sauce (honey sriracha) with a side of fries. My partner got the Belly something, but his box consisted of lemon pepper and honey BBQ wings with buffalo ranch fries . The food was SO GOOD! What we ordered: I ordered the Flyin' Slider Trio with Chili Zing sauce. These were fantastic! The sauce was spicy but not overpowering. The cole slaw was tasty. The chicken was hanging off the sides of the bun. They give a very generous portion. I also got the corn poppers with lemon pepper seasoning. When the menu says corn "popperS," I thought I'd get more than one. The fact that they charged $4.00 for a half ear of corn is ridiculous. I was even madder because it was delicious! It was breaded and deep fried. The breading was great and ensured that the corn wasn't oily. If the serving was two, I would feel like I kind of got my money's worth, but not one. I'd never get that again. My husband got the 10-piece wings with half garlic parm and half lemon pepper. He said the wings were big and fried to perfection. He loved them. He also got fries. This truck looks like your very basic chicken and fries place, but when they do something, they do it really well. I got just chicken strips and french fries, covered in garlic Parmesan with garlic aïoli, and I have no regrets about any of these things. It was a decent amount of food at reasonable Los Angeles prices, and everybody I was with also really enjoyed what they got. The issue with my particular visit was that they were not ready for the crowd of people letting out of a giant convention panel all at the same time. They figured it out reasonably quickly, but the first 10 or so people ended up probably waiting for their food a little longer than they should have. He took care of my meal on my next visit which he really didn't have to do. I was happy to return because the food is amazing!! Furthermore, on April 6, 2024, another order through Uber Eats resulted in an entire order of cauliflower bites and sauce missing, despite being paid for. This kind of oversight is unacceptable and reflects poorly on their operations. It's disheartening because Belly's Wings and Sliders has the potential to be a standout establishment with their fantastic food. I normally pick up orders as I'm doing Uber Eats at belly's, but today May 19th I had lunch at belly's and the person helping me her name is Mo, was so sweet and I had the value meal combo with the shrimp slider and her suggestion for the Cajun citrus sauce was delicious Also I had for a side I had the five cheese belly mac (Mac and cheese). A friend told me about this place and told me to get some wings. It's in Gardena and I didn't know that Crenshaw was that long of a street. LOL! Stumbled upon this food trunk and their cauliflower wings immediately caught my eye. I had just recently gotten into this phase of enjoying cauliflower wings so I became intrigued enough to order them. Originally thought I was ordering an appetizer but then it ended up being an actual meal (was questioning why this cost like $15 but then it made more sense after I saw my order) The wings definitely had that wing feel to them and made me forget for the slightest moment I was eating cauliflower. Paired with their house ranch and it made such a great combo! The fries were pretty ordinary; nothing too special about them. I think they are still a newer location so the soda machine wasn't working, and didn't they also didn't have all the drinks in their menu.
