Attended a birthday party a couple of weeks ago 12/16 where Beach City Tacos did the cooking and their tacos were delicious. Over the course of the evening I tried their Al Pastor, Carnitas, Asada, and Pollo. All were very good but my favorites were the carnitas and al pastor. Besides being served as tacos they also offered them as quesadillas and mulitas. In addition to the meats they were also serving beans and rice that were good. On the side they had also prepared three fresh salsas that added even more flavor to the dishes. The guy doing the cooking and serving was was personable and quick. I would definitely use them if I was in need of a taco guy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. read more

Not very good customer service. Instead of owning up to the mistake, he blamed the "person in charged" because she "kept switching the order" (My Mother in Law) mind you she sent the same menu TWICE! He was the one who decided to switch up and change prices?! She Confirmed the SAME MENU 4 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT. So no, that is not redeeming yourself, nor your business. If I could give this place zero stars, I WOULD. They completely messed up my sister's graduation party; we asked (and confirmed earlier in the week) for fish tacos, rice, beans, AND BACON WRAPPED HOT DOGS. Welp, we got none of that. But they gave us nachos "for the mistake." The main guy didn't show up and sent a replacement young man instead, probably bc the owner didn't want to show his face. The owner gave us a small portion of money back "for the inconvenience" but it was pennies compared to what I paid. The food was pre-cooked from his carnicería opening earlier in the day, he took some of the leftovers for himself, and did not give me freshly cooked food. Was really disappointed in this service. I booked him in January for my party on June 29th. He quoted me a price for 70 people with the items wanted and I sent my deposit. I then reached out to him in April to confirm and he quoted me a higher price and said prices went up and I said ok fine. Then I reached out to him a few days before my party because I had seen that he was having a grand opening at his market the same day as my party. I sent him a text to confirm again for my party and I added my list of food items that I ordered and paid for. When his worker came ...he came with pre cooked meat and no fish tacos, no rice and beans and no bacon wrapped hotdogs. All the extras that I ordered and paid for and did not get. I was pretty upset because I was in communication with him a few times and sent him my list menu each time. He did apologize and gave me 500 back out of the 1,100 I paid for and I'm still upset with him and his service. read more

First off, they were professional. They worked with our school district in terms of cutting a check for payment and deposit. They arrived early with everything that they needed and began cooking up out three meats and bacon wrapped hotdogs FRESH. THEN THE FLAVOR WAS UNMATCHED. Hands down these were some of the best tacos that I have ever had (and I fancy myself a taco conasseuir). They fed about 165 students and 30 staff members with ease. My first experience with Cesar's amazing food/catering was at a work party organized by a co-worker a few months ago. The ceviche was amazing and convinced me it was worth giving him a shot for a 100 person charity poker tournament that I organized last week. We decided to go with the taco cart setup which includes 3 meats & 3 salsas + all of the extras like onions and cilantro. Every single person I spoke to commented on how these were the best tacos they'd had which is pretty damn impressive in LA. I had the carnitas & carne asada myself and definitely agree. Cesar was very responsive by text message for all my questions before the event, arrived promptly and was completely professional with outstanding service the night of the event. He was also willing to help us on price because it was a charity event.
