"Asada taco"

The asadas taco was pure fat. Dotys was good many moons ago but now not so much. Also they accept Zelle now

Taco Truck. Ordered the two birria tacos. The young lady took my order they were quick and professional she gave me a beautiful smile. The tacos were very delicious and juicy You can serve a variety of different add-ons like cilantro and onions, red onions, Nopales in vinegar, and green and avocado sauces. Great place for a Good price Highly recommend this place

El pastor and shrimp tacos. Very flavorful.

Food is very good with a wide variety. Staff are nice and accommodating. Only problem is they don't have the prices posted.

Ordered 50 tacos last minute, and they came through like Champs. The team loved the flavors, and the staff was super nice. They provided containers for the sauces and the toppings were fresh. Seriously the best tacos in L.A. Thanks Dotys. see you soon.

Let's Taco bout it ... When you think of taco trucks in the Southbay, Dotys is definitely one of the names that pops up. From tacos to burritos, to desserts, this place got it all now; they have a nice set up with tables and chairs as well to enjoy your food fresh. Bring back the $1 tacos though! The tacos still hit after all these years (pastor), the steak and shrimp burrito is a fave, another stand out for sure is their salsas (habanero), they have great flavor and heat here ! I have to come back to try more new items to really formulate a solid review, also the service was a bit off this night, they were not very attentive, it took them a while to acknowledge us and it was not busy at all... anyway... 3.5/5 star for now. Tip: They take card now; their menu does not show pricing so ask how much everything is before you order and ring you up. Happy eats, loves! ^_^

A roach

First I want to say my family and I have been going to Doty's Tacos for years. But tonight September 27th 2025 there was a cockroach in our food. I am disgusted and sick to my stomach I will never be back again

Cabeza tacos - meat was different than usual

Really disappointed with my experience here. Taco wise, they are 3 star tacos - nothing amazing about it but pretty standard. 1 star knocked down for experience. Went here on taco Tuesday when they were advertising $1.50, no other menu items had prices. I had a large order and got 14 tacos, and carne asada fries. She asked me if I wanted homemade tortillas or regular, no indication they were different prices. I say homemade. She goes to charge my $72.00 which I thought was a high amount, but could not speak up until it was totaled. I try to tell her it should be closer to $40, and she says it's too late, nothing can be done. She says "the homemade is extra of course" when there was no reason for me to assume that. I've been to taco trucks and shops that do homemade standard. Also, I got quesabirria tacos and was given a quesadilla instead, although I specifically ordered tacos. Why I'm thinking the cost was a little more too. I was hoping to bring the tacos home and be blown away to make up for the cost. But they were very greasy, meat wasn't the best, and even though I asked for meat only, the pastor had onions (which meant someone in my family couldn't eat their order.) the homemade tortilla wasn't impressive either and they were fairly small. The salsas though are really good, especially the habanero and the chili oil. Overall, I would be happier if they didn't cost so much. No truck taco should be $3, regardless of homemade. I try not to leave bad reviews often but I felt like she purposely deceived me to get a higher charge. Had they impressed me I would have let it slide.

Food was alright. 70% tortilla, 30% meat. Smallest tacos I've eaten and very overpriced. $5 for one birria taco.

They started us off with chips, salsa, and a bean dip, which was a nice touch and something I don't see everywhere. I went with the two-item combo enchilada plate with shredded chicken and shredded beef, served with rice and beans. The portion size was very good - definitely satisfying - and the enchiladas were exactly what I was hoping for. This is comfort food for me, and this plate delivered. We also ordered the carnitas plate and the chile colorado, both served with rice and beans. The chile colorado had good flavor overall and was enjoyable. The carnitas had good flavor, though the texture was a bit inconsistent. Some pieces were tender, while others felt slightly overcooked or dry, which made a few bites less satisfying than they could've been. The salsa was good - not the best I've ever had, but flavorful and a nice complement to the food. Service was friendly, they took our order quickly, and the food came out fast. They were busy, so there was a slight delay at times, but still attentive when we needed them. Parking is mostly street parking, and when we went there was space available, though you may have to walk a little bit depending on the time. Overall, the portion size and value stood out to me. This is a solid, comforting Mexican spot, and I'd come back.
