If you want farm raised seafood that has no natural flavor, with no attention to detail, then come here. Food is over seasoned with lemon, salt, and Clamato. It overpowers your palette. This was pretty bad folks. Look for something better. I want to find something good, I guess I could say their tostadas by themselves and Gamesa saltine crackers they serve were alright. They also have good to go Tupperware. Other than that, I would skip the food.

BOMB. My sister said this is her favorite spot and I see why, the cockle is so flavorful!! I was scared the large wasn't going to actually be a large, but they gave a ton of food. Parking here is kind of a hassle, but it took no more than 10 minutes to get my order. Heads up, no Apple Pay so bring your physical card or cash. Can't wait to try more!

Culichi Botana Plate. Shrimp, cooked shrimp, Octopus, and scallops

This spot had no business hitting this hard. I went to the original little trailer inside a parking lot on Rosecrans/Garfield. Was not expecting much, ive had tons of Mariscos from diff areas I ordered the Culichi Botana plate, which basically comes with little bit of everything. Butterflied shrimp, cooked shrimp, octopus, and decent sized scallops. It was all super fresh, yummy and their salsa they throw on it ties everything together. Everything is made fresh, so there will be a wait which I dont mind. Cant wait to try something else next time

Gave 3 stars because the food was pretty good, (aguachiles negros, ceviche mixto crudo, and tostada Monchis), however; the portions are not what they seemed online. It felt like a ripoff, considering their prices, smh.

The people that work here are rude I came to pick up my order glad I didn't eat there since they have low quality service. If I'm not mistaken the girls that work this mariscos probably clock in next door to the holiday club acting like they are high maintenance. The food was good just service is really bad, You can get better service next door.

Me and my wife came to their new location in Santa Fe Springs. I have to admit, the Culichi plate is so bomb, there is no artermath picture for it. Server came and blessed the table for us. The michelada is such a thirst quencher, it's a must have. Last but not least, the fish taco, was delicious. Thank you for your great service and hard work.

The Sirenita was absolutely delicious and super bountiful, perfect for sharing but honestly I did not want to. The shrimp ceviche taco was crunchy and flavorful with a great balance of veggies and shrimp. I also loved that they did not skimp on the drink. It was generous and refreshing. My boyfriend got the aguachile verde and ceviche. He said the aguachile was definitely spicy but had amazing flavor. He also really enjoyed the ceviche. Everything tasted fresh and well made. We will definitely be back.

I tried the Botana Culichi which had cooked shrimp, raw shrimp, scallop, and octopus, under a bed of cucumber and red onion. It was drenched in a black sauce and grinded chiltepin, delicious! You can taste the fresh ingredients, the raw shrimp melts in your mouth and the cooked shrimp is cooked perfectly. The octopus is tender and the callo they use is definitely fresh scallop. And that black sauce is killer, so perfect! It has a little kick but not overwhelming. I was trying so hard to eat it slowly because I didn't want this taste to leave my pallet. Going to "try" to explore other items but it's going to be tough to top this one. This plate was $32 and very reasonable for the amount of seafood. Also, came with a packet Los Pericos tostadas.

I got the 6 pc chicken tenders tossed in "Cha Cha" sauce (honey sriracha) with a side of fries. My partner got the Belly something, but his box consisted of lemon pepper and honey BBQ wings with buffalo ranch fries . The food was SO GOOD! I can not wait to try the chicken tenders in several of the sauces. The establishment appears to be more of a place of "order your food and go". The cook knew our order off the top of his head. Lastly, the parking lot is pretty tight.

What we ordered: I ordered the Flyin' Slider Trio with Chili Zing sauce. These were fantastic! The sauce was spicy but not overpowering. The cole slaw was tasty. The chicken was hanging off the sides of the bun. They give a very generous portion. I also got the corn poppers with lemon pepper seasoning. When the menu says corn "popperS," I thought I'd get more than one. The fact that they charged $4.00 for a half ear of corn is ridiculous. I was even madder because it was delicious! It was breaded and deep fried. The breading was great and ensured that the corn wasn't oily. If the serving was two, I would feel like I kind of got my money's worth, but not one. I'd never get that again. My husband got the 10-piece wings with half garlic parm and half lemon pepper. He said the wings were big and fried to perfection. He loved them. He also got fries. They were $4.00 for a pediatric serving size. Overall, the meal was very good. The main items were worth the price, but they really charge too much for the sides considering their size. I'd go back to support them, but please hold the sides...

I don't usually hype spots like this, but Mariscos El Moreno in Lynwood truly never disappoints…read more You know how some places taste amazing when you eat there, but when you get it to-go it's just not the same? El Moreno is the opposite -- it hits every single time, no matter what. Before coming here, I thought aguachiles were the top tier... then I tried their salsa morena and that changed everything. Now I don't even bother with anything else -- morena sauce on EVERYTHING. That sauce is on another level. The ceviche mixta with morena sauce is straight fire. We even ordered two big charolas for my son's first birthday party, and I'm not exaggerating -- almost everyone at the party kept asking where we got the ceviche from. That tells you all you need to know. Only downside is the parking can be a little tight since it's on a small corner, but honestly, once you taste the food, you forget about that real quick. If you go, do yourself a favor: get the salsa morena on everything. You can thank me later.

By the end, I wasn't sure if I'd eaten seafood or just done vocal warm-ups. The good news: the food holds its own. The seafood is super fresh, which is a blessing when you need something to focus on besides the bass drop. It's a cozy little spot--parking lot fits about 11 cars, so it's like musical chairs on asphalt. Street parking is an option, just keep an eye out for that street sweeping sign unless you want to donate to the city's "surprise fund." Bottom line: great for a lively, no-fuss meal. Just bring your appetite, your patience, and maybe a subtle hand signal system.
