I came to this place because I always saw it off the 105 freeway and Paramount. So I decided to give it a try. I got the steak, shrimp, vegetables, and fried rice with chicken. My steak was dry, and I did not get it well-done. The shrimp was flavorful; the fried rice was good, but it had very few vegetables. Overall, the food here is pretty decent but not the best I've had with this type of food. Also, this place is very expensive, and for the portions they give, I really feel like it isn't worth it. Service is great but I will say takes a bit for you to get your food but it's also not their fault when they have orders and orders to get to. Plus if you want it fresh your gonna have to wait. The New York steak is great but I regret no getting the noodles maybe next time. read more

So I was craving Benihana food but didn't want to go there so I looked up somewhere in my area Paramount and Bachi Yaki came up and I remembered I had had it before and it was good. I went to the location on Paramount blvd but the truck hadn't arrived yet it opens at 3pm. Not the type of gal to go on yelp and write reviews... i got a filet minion plate with steamed rice and veggies. It was okay, rice was hard it felt as pasty ish as if it wasn't washed or rinsed. Steak was okay very salty and the entire plate was mostly rice. To be quite honest i am not surprised as most locations in today's day don't really put much effort into their food, but for it to be 26$ please try a little harder people, make it fair. read more

I have ordered food from here several times now. I can't believe I haven't written a review yet! I love this food truck! Consistently delicious every time. I order the filet mignon with fried rice. It also comes with grilled veggies. I also order a side of the garlic noodles. I also always get the Yumi sauce. The spicy yumi sauce is good too if you're into that. The staff is friendly too. It's a food truck so you have to get it to go and or eat in your car. It can take a while to cook because it is made fresh to order but it's worth the wait! Highly recommend. read more

This place used to be so good, my boyfriend and I would get this every so often. The last three times they have let us down. The flavor has been off, the meat has been dry, and one time it tasted as if the grill hadn't been cleaned and we got all the burnt stuff left behind. We stopped going here for a bit and decided to give them another shot hoping it would taste better but unfortunately we were very disappointed. sadly we will need to find another hibachi spot. The food used to be so flavorful and juicy, not anymore. I also forgot to mention that the serving size is definitely smaller. As a Bachiyaki enthusiast, I'm disappointed. I always place my orders ahead of time. When I placed my order, pick up time was for 12:30. I arrived to the window, let them know, and they said they have just opened up, and that to stand by for 15 minutes. As I'm writing this, it's been 30 minutes since, and I've asked for an update on my order. They told me " we just started working on your order", all with the most rudest tone of voice. First of all, here is the issue. If that's the case why would " Chow Now" allow for orders to be placed if they location wasn't open or with reasonable pick up times. I hope this issue is fixed because this is only one instance of my order being beyond late. Do better. read more

My fiancé wanted us to have something different for Friday night dinner, so we gave this place a try. I was a little surprised by the prices but imagined that the food would match the dollar price. We paid $60+ for two entrees. The first one being a Lobster & Shrimp Combo and the second being the Lobster Noodles. First off, the portions were huge. Sadly, the noodles had rice at the bottom of the bowl. We were looking for just noodles, not white rice to fill in the bowl. The lobster shrimp plate was massive and had a good amount of shrimp. The lobster was chewy & overcooked. The flavor overall was good, except that it was a little on the salty side. Aside from being salty it was extremely oily. Better luck next time. read more

The BESSST hibachi lonchera! I've tried multiple different hibachi loncheras and by far bachi yaki has the best flavor, portion size, and pricing. You may have to wait a bit to receive your food since everything is made fresh so I do recommend placing an order online for pickup. Definitely give it a try! read more

The portions provided were exceptionally generous; catering for 50 guests, there was ample food for everyone to enjoy a second helping. The quality of the food was outstanding, with each dish boasting incredible flavors and delectable sauces that truly enhanced the overall dining experience. I am thoroughly impressed with the level of service and the culinary expertise displayed. This is undoubtedly one of the finest catering services I have ever encountered.
