    Shrimp enchiladas plate

I loved getting their shrimp enchiladas since I was a kid. Unfortunately this time I got some uncleaned shrimp and some with the shell still on I'm pregnant right now and worried about the poopy shrimp I could have eaten

    Shrimp tacos. $2 each.

Hole in the wall restaurants are the best in my opinion, don't ya think? CASH ONLY! (sorry for yelling but just letting ya know before ya go). You might miss this magical gem of a place because it is tucked in the corner of a dingy plaza off Bellflower and Roscrans ave. Literally sits in the last vicinity closest to Bellflower St. DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE UP! Good sized parking lot which is shared among the other business in plaza. This review is strictly for their tacos camarones. I crave for these bad boys for weeks on end. At $2 a piece, save your allowance and spoil yourself with 10 of them! The magic in these tacos is CHEESE. The shrimp is marinated and cooked to juicy, puffy pefection, then cut up and nestled atop cheese drizzled with cilantro, onion, and salsa. Delish! They also offer a wide variety of seafood and non seafood dishes; shrimp, chicken, asada, or cheese enchiladas, ceviche, burritos, carne asada dishes, etc. Typical mariscos restaurant. Horchata is yummy here. They also serve alcohol and soft drinks. Service is A+ and the music is loud and extremely native. I don't mind it since I grew up around it. Free chips and salsa when dining in. Enjoy! =)

Local Mexican joint which has so many food choices. Order chips and salsa as appetizer, taste so-so. Order deep fried cat fish and also so-so. The price is ok for $9 with plenty of food. They also serve bottle beer, that's a plus. Only 1 server working with full intensity l, serving around 15 people together. Will I go back? Maybe not as nothing special about this place.

During this tough time we all are struggling and we decided for take out since we wanted to avoid the grocery store today. We received both orders barely HALF filled. And paid nearly $30. (She was tryna charge double at that) The salsa cups were not closed and literally were all over the order. Called back & all she said was to count the shrimp, lol smh. Avoid this. DRIVE TO MARISCOS EL PERIHUETE full cup in Lynwood. Way better .

Two words: Shrimp Tacos. This place is straight ghetto but the food is deadly. Who would have ever thought the city of Bellflower would would take claim to two of the best hidden gems in the 562 - Mariscos Miramar and Can Coon Tha. It's two dollars a pop for the shrimp tacos. The size of these tacos are fairly decent and they pile a good amount of shrimp. I also had flautas and carne asada tacos but its not even worth mentioning after I already talked about the shrimp tacos. You have to check this spot out. My cousin took us here today and I was impressed. You know a place is good when it's packed by the locals and it continously attracts its own people. Just a hole in the wall where you order some cervesas and enjoy some good authentic Mexican food. BOMB!

Today, I tried the Caldo de Siete Mares Soup, it's so good! Small cuts of fish, shrimp, carrots, nopales, mussles, a crab leg, octopus, tomato broth, cilantro and cebolla... I think that's how you spell it. Onions . The service is on time and great!

    Best Shrimp Tacos in town.

I've been going her once a week for a couple month now and needless to say, their tacos are DELICIOUS.. As described in the other reviews, they are grilled and not fried like the other baja fish taco joints in the area. They also don't have a ton of mayo /cream smothered on top. This place is a hidden gem and if you're ever in the area, make sure you stop by. Tips: cash only & try the green El Yucateco hot sauce they offer.

Came here for a Saturday night dinner with a group of four. There were open tables available, but…read moreit still took a little while to get seated. Overall, the service was slightly slow but still tolerable. We ordered the shrimp, sausage, mussels, Cajun fries, and wings. Pro tip: ask for gloves, since they don't provide them initially. The sauce was flavorful, but unfortunately, the shrimp didn't seem as fresh as I would have liked. When peeling the shells, they weren't coming off easily, and the meat was slightly soft, which can be a sign that the shrimp wasn't at its freshest. Overall, this is a very solid spot that has everything you need when you're craving Cajun-style shrimp. It's a great place to satisfy that craving without having to deal with as much of a crowd. That said, while the overall experience was good, the quality of the seafood was slightly lacking.

Highly recommended! Crab was cooked perfect and came out nice and clean (can't say that about…read moreother crab spots in the area)..The place was not super busy but we were glad about that.. we came in about an hour before closing.. Lily took care of us and she was great! So sweet and friendly ! We ordered "hot" for our boil, we did ask for our bag to be sent back for a little more spice:: and they did add the "super hot" which was still great flavor, just not super spicy compared to other crab boil spots we have been to. But the flavor was very very good and still had the spicy .. but now we do know we can even go up a level which we will do the next time we come back! The entire place was really clean! The one suggestion I would make is that they do need better napkins.. like paper towels because they just give basic small napkins and it isn't nearly enough. Other than that.. loved it ! We will be back !
