This food truck gone vendor at SteelCraft - Bellflower is doing big things, including the addition of Vegetarian/Vegan options that are very new to the menu. My friend who is somewhat of a regular at SteelCraft was surprised because his last trip in they didn't have any. Pretty awesome and easy eats, not too greasy, but the portions are a little mellow. I had a veggie burrito, sin queso - rice, beans, onions and cilantro. I think they're still finding their grove with the new additions. Service is solid though it's hard for them to hear you when they're busy and you're ready to pick up your order. The flavors do leave a good impression just wish my burrito had a little more filling or even came with a small side of chips. Easy beverage options, bottled or canned sodas, water, juices and horchata. T.A. has a good menu with dessert options, brunch, special dishes, starters, tacos, burritos, mulitas, quesadillas and classic proteins. Nothing in the plant based variety yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if I saw one in the future (soy chorizo, hongos, etc.) Available for dine in, cafeteria style, take out or online delivery. My boyfriend and I ordered via third party app not remembering we had a personally bad experience here. I was iffy to order here cos I was looking at the pictures of the food and it was inconsistent with pictures from their website. We ordered the papas loco and the two taco plate combination. Both came with sauce on the side but we had to pay extra for sour cream. From the last time we ate here, the food was bland and service was horrible! This time around. The tacos were very flavorful. It could use more onion/cilantro on the tacos. The rice was better from the last time me had it. The beans were the same. Looked like a big pile of mush and looks so pasty. I was having a craving for tacos with onion and cilantro. The flavor of the cabeza tacos was awesome. And the meat burrito had great flavor and seasoning. I ordered with Instacart and Uber Eats delivered. They gave me green limes, grilled onions and green salsa. Definitely authentic! Loved it. I ordered the flan too it was yummy. The most meat I've ever had in a street taco - they were loaded! The cheese and chicken quesadilla was large and well stuffed with great flavor. Beans were good, though a little thin, but rice was fluffy and just right. Seating is outdoors (under cover) at Steel Craft, so unless it's uncomfortably hot or cold it's a pleasant environment. It's great with a dog or if the group has various tastes, with multiple vendors available. Finish with a Mexican latte at that stand! Good choice for our three-generation group. read more

The good: I liked that you could self-order from a large tablet. They're located in the trendy open-air dining hall and they're located by the kids area. I tried 7 tacos that were under $3 each. I thought the prices were fair. They also sold burritos, quesadillas and had a kids menu. They text you when your order is ready. The bad: They forgot to give us all of the fixings so I went and asked for it (radish, lime, red and green salsa and onions). The interesting: There were lots of jewel bugs around here that weren't afraid to fly near you. This is a must try if you ever visit the steelcraft. I ordered the chilaquiles with carne asada (a MUST) was an extra charge but worth it for the amount of asada they add. Now the only draw back was that I placed my order and waited almost 20 min for the food to come out. However, it is worth it. The chilaquiles is definitely enough for two people. I ordered what I thought would be Mexican food, but what I got was really disappointing. I ordered a burrito and a taco. The burrito, in particular, was a mess--it was extremely soggy, and the meat had a lot of tendons, making it crunchy and unpleasant. The onions were soggy as well, and there were way too many beans. The tortilla was completely soaked and fell apart easily. Overall, the burrito was not good at all, and the taco didn't make up for it. Definitely not what I was expecting. read more

The location is pretty cool being that it's in a spot for potentially a good crowd. You got drinks, sometimes a band and of course the food. We were pretty excited to visit this place. I said were. We got some beers, a Mexican lager and we figured we'll accompany it with some tacos.... Chiripiolca time!!! My kid is not a picky eater, so when he said, "this chicken is not good," I told him it can't be that bad, so I gave it a taste and yeah it was not good. Not sure if it was expired or what because it didn't taste rotten, it just didn't taste like chicken or whatever the seasoning they used was a terrible choice. I didn't feel like wasting my time and energy on complaining about food so we just threw it away. I ordered the pastor and cachete tacos. The pastor tacos were just okay. I won't be ordering them again though. The cachete ones, were equally just okay. Not bad, but not good. The cilantro and onions were good though. The carne asada tacos were passable. I mean you really can't mess up carne asada right? Or can you? My wife ate them just fine. For the tacos, they did have a good amount of meat in them, two tortillas, pero like if the meat isn't good, then that's a wasted opportunity. The sauces were not good or spicy. My daughter did like the flan though. The service was pretty average for a spot at this place. Took a little longer than I'm used to from a taco spot. I've gotten a couple things from this place in the past months. Loved it each time! The weekdays they're speedy fast but in the weekends like most brunch places it does take a little longer. We usually come here every weekend and have always had a great experience, but tonight was very disappointing. We ordered tacos and waited about 30 minutes. When I checked in to see if our order was ready the guy at the window rolled his eyes and told me we'd get a text when the food was ready. I understood they were busy and said "no worries," but after another 10 minutes nothing had come out. My fiancé went up to cancel the order, but they couldn't even find it in the system. We said fine, just make it to go. Another 10 minutes passed, and when I checked again, I was told they had spoken to the boss and would just refund us instead. By this point, my kids had been waiting hungry for an hour for some tacos. You can't tell a customer you'll make the food to go and then suddenly cancel it. To be fair, the guy was apologetic at the end, but the whole experience was frustrating and unprofessional. Rolling eyes at paying customers isn't okay, and the back and forth wasted our night. Met up with some friends at SteelCraft to hang out and after browsing all the vendors, I decided to try out Tacos Arandas. I ordered carne asada nachos, a chicken dobladita, and 4 tacos (al pastor, chicken, and cachete) to share. A huge negative is that I may have came on an off day as all the meats were salty in my opinion, which knocked off a lot of stars. There were positives and the one that stood out is the tortilla. Tortilla definitely tasted homemade as it was soft when I bit into it. They cut up the homemade tortilla for the nachos and it added a nice crunch to every bite. If I could just order a bag of their fried tortilla chips, I would. Another positive is that they really stuffed the dobladita and tacos with a huge portion of meat. There was so much meat, the tortilla could barely hold it and the meat was spilling out of my hand as I bit into the tacos. The sauces they gave were excellent and maybe I can't handle spicy, but they don't play around with the spice level of the salsa roja. I liked that they didn't have an additional charge for grilled onions and I ordered some to put into my tacos. The grilled onions added a nice texture and crunch. The service was excellent as the staff was very friendly and helpful when I asked for recommendations. With a food hall vibe, there were a bunch of tables in the middle of the area so it wasn't hard to find a table to sit at. I Love this place soooo much!! I've been here a few times now and the quality has been consistently great! I mean this place is taco truck good :) Oh, the meats... They have Asada, Pastor, Cabeza, Buche, Cachete, Chorizo & Pollo. So far, I've had: Tacos (Asada, Pastor, Cabeza & Buche) Burritos (Pastor & Asada) Quesadillas (Pastor) And all of them have been 10/10. Everything tastes fresh and the portions are generous. Drinks... The Agua Frescas are also very good, my Son gets the Horchata every time and I love the Pineapple. They also have water & sodas; I had a Squirt last time which went great with the tacos :) The service is quick & friendly and the larger venue is always kept clean. They are located in SteelCraft, which I love, so there are other places to get food and drinks. But I think Tacos Arandas is the best! I took 4 bites and the taste just wasn't right that I had to throw away the burrito. I woke up several times that night feeling queasy up to now. I do not recommend this place at all with the 4 bites that I had it tasted worse than the burritos they serve at a cafeteria. I stopped by steel craft recently and was excited to try the tacos here. The place looked cute and I saw a lot of people ordering from them. But I was really disappointed by the food. I just tried asada tacos but they were just odd. The texture was off it seemed like the meat was steamed or something it didn't taste like asada at all. Nice place to grab some Mexican food and hang out. The carne asada was really good but the pastor was definitely missing something. My husband swears this was the best carne asada burrito he's had. He said they just nailed the portions and didn't overdue it on beans or rice. The tacos are pretty much sold a la carte but I got a kids plate so I could have some beans and rice with my tacos. They also give you these sauteed onions which were so bomb and filled with flavor.
