I had the privilege of meeting the owner and I absolutely loved how much passion and pride she has for business. I informed her it was my first time trying the food and I ordered the #5 combo plate. The chicken enchiladas were amazingly authentic and delicious. I highly recommend giving this place a shot and I definitely will be coming back and trying something else. Small family owned place with friendly service. Located across the street from 7-11 in the mini market that's always packed because LA Mexicana, laundry, & boost mobile. Food is made to order fresh so yes the wait is longer then your average joint but I didn't mind. Prices are normal for the area, 1.25 a taco, $6.25 burrito.The food is good, I personally don't think it stood out but I did notice the al pastor was a much different texture and taste then my regular go to spots in east Los or tacos el gavilan, but that's not saying it was bad, just different and was still good read more

Been going to this place since I was a wee little lady. Food is great, pricing is even better. The breakfast specials are a hit. I haven't eaten much of a variety here. But, as a vegetarian (pescatarian), I enjoy their potato tacos. They aren't very full, so I buy at least 4 when I eat here. The old man and lady who works the counter are super friendly and helpful with suggesting food to eat. The lady even suggested some fresh fruit drink. I didn't get the name of it, but it was super delicious and refreshing. The fresh fruit in it made me want seconds after I left. They could stand to lower prices a bit for the quantity of food they give you.They are a bit skimpy on the taco sauce and it is kind of bland as well. But they cater, are super friendly, and that makes up for the long time it takes them to prepare your food as well. read more

I tried their tacos at a catering event and now I like going to try something different whenever I'm craving Mexican food. It's sooo good! I've tried their cheese enchiladas, burritos, tacos, chilaquiles, and a lot of their sweets. They have taco Tuesdays, but I live far, so the traffic plus commute after work is not optimal for me. I'd be there in a tummy growl if I lived closer. I had Monday off, so I got a chance to enjoy my dinner there :) I don't drink soda, so I've given their juices a try, too. They have different drinks, including shaved ice, but I've yet to try them all. The nut one is my favorite! They've all been tasty though. Stopped in for shrimp tacos after leaving two other nearby restaurants because as soon as you walked in they smelled like infected . This restaurant did not smell bad. I absolutely loved this place. My family is from Jalisco so I had super high expectations when I got there. I ordered camarones rancheros & they were perfect, everything about this place was perfect. This is probably the last time I would ever come here. I would always come here for their green juices but they have started making them not so good. Sour instead of sweet. Their oranges are not sweet enough. Also the lady I believe is the owner accused me of not paying for a tab that was about one year ago! Wtf I was in shock. The first thing they do when I place orders which are always to go is charge me. I told her to show me the receipt and that person whoever didn't pay the tab order stuff I have never order. I've never had their tacos or sopes. I told her that order wasn't mine. She was heck positive it was mine. Are you serious lady! You made me look like a damn fool, I've never dined there and I have always paid for my orders. She tried to make me feel like shit. Try to blame your next victim and see how they handle this situation. I will never come back or recommend your restaurant to anyone. I tried their food today, must say it was delicious . I had breakfast for dinner (chilaquiles con huevo) they serve breakfast all day. My mother had costillitas de puerco en salsa roja. I will keep on coming back if I'm ever in the mood for great authentic mexican food with a side of excellent customer service. read more
