Every taco truck will have a high standard to live up to from now on. We found this truck on the corner or century and santa fe in South Gate, CA. It was apparent that they were closing yet they told us that they would feed us with no problem. They old man was the sweetest and offered us everything we saw on the menu without hesitation. I have NEVER tasted Birria this good. I would drive to the end of the earth for this food. Definitely will be coming back soon

This place is has some amazing tacos de birria. The Res and Chivo are both boom. The also have tacos de buche and cueritos. You must try the new taco campechana (birria, asada, frijoles and guacamole). To drink ask for a consume. Also for la cruda they also have menudo.

2 de res, 2 de chivo, & consomé de chivo!

Meennn!! This place hit the spot! I can't say enough! I was craving it and looked up spots nearby and tacos Gamboa came up with good review so I decided to try it! I got birria de chivo tacos as well as beef!! My oh my were the tacos so goood! And the consomé, out of this world!! The chivo one! While I was waiting the owner approached me and asked if I had the birria tacos and I said nope first time here. He then ordered the cooks to prep a birria de res taco and handed it to me to try while I waited. It was delicious!! The salsa are just the cherry on top! I liked the spicier one it was all sooo good I will definitely will be going back!!

The biggest draw here is the handmade tortillas, which are definitely a step above average. However, this was the first taco shop where I actually watched pieces of fat being added to the asada tacos, something I've seen other reviewers mention as well. The al pastor wasn't carved from a trompo; instead, it was served as chopped pieces of pork in sauce, which wasn't my preferred style. The birria was good, but nothing particularly memorable compared to other places I've tried. That said, the restaurant seems very popular with locals, and being open past 6 p.m. is a plus in an area where many restaurants close early. Prices are lower than what you'd typically find at a brick-and-mortar taqueria, which may reflect the local market. One thing to note is that there is no customer restroom, so it feels more geared toward takeout than dining in. Most of the customers I saw appeared to be picking up food to go. Overall, it's a solid neighborhood taco spot if you're already in the area, but not necessarily a destination-worthy stop.

I order ceviche and oh boy! this is the best ceviche I have ever tried for 2026!! The price was another thing that really surprised me since when you bought a bigger size of ceviche can go up to more than $60 to my surprise this place give me a very good deal which I do appreciate. This place has been in my head the whole week, servers are very kind patience and give you a lot of options so you can get what you want, after ordering my ceviche I went inside the restaurant now which is the building and they have one section of only ice cream lollipops oh my God they have three times more options than any other places. If you go around where the tables are outside, you will see a little window where you can order any kind of Agua fresca and other snack snack. please go and visit this restaurant. This is a very unique Mexican flavor restaurant You will be amazed by the variety and the taste of the food. they have plenty of parking lot, but I've heard that they can run out of parking lot since a lot of people can come in and out but most people do order and takeout since this Restaurant do not have an AC.

The staff moves fast, smiles hard, and somehow remembers your order better than you do. Blink too slow and your order will pass you up. It's chaotic in the best "my family is loud but loving" way. This spot is open till 2am on Friday and Saturday. Imagine a place that says, "We're here to feed you, not impress you with mood lighting." It's bright, lively, and filled with the soundtrack of sizzling food, and orders constantly being called. The décor is simple, clean but the vibe is pure Gardena comfort, no pretension, just flavor and vibes. If you have those late night cravings for street food? Oh, it's dangerous. The kind of good where you take one bite and immediately start tearing into the rest with such joy and comfort. Every dish tastes like it was made by someone who refuses to let you leave hungry. The flavors slap, the portions are generous, and the tortillas taste like they were handcrafted by angels who specialize in carbs. Oh, how could I not talk about the drinks and desserts, this is something you need to see for yourself, words cannot describe the things they have for that sweet tooth craving. Mmmm, pure heaven!
