    Carne asada burrito
    Brenda V.

Probably some of the best food around. I got a carne asada burrito and it was fantastic. And you can't get better tacos. One of my favorite places.

I don't come here often for one reason. Over priced food. Very overpriced food. 3 Tortas and 2 pineapples led to 37 dollars. Holy fk! You can go to Northgate and get 4 Tortas for the same price. It's ridiculous. Only came here because the wife is pregnant. Never again.

    Bugs in horchata
    Lupe A.

Very upsetting. It was my first time coming to this taco truck . Salsa, cilantro, cebollas and everything outside had bugs . Customers waiting for their order received their tacos filled with bugs ! While we told the worker who was there that there was bugs on the food he was rude and didn't make the situation any better. I ordered 2 horchatas and they had bugs INSIDE THE CUP! Bugs are both outside in their area and inside the truck. Save your money don't risk getting sick!!!!

Seating is outside, perfect for a nice day. Oscar and the team are amazing -- they genuinely treat you like family and make the experience even better. You can feel the love they put into the food. Highly recommend. This spot is a must-try and I'll definitely be back.

It's always taco time so I wanted to give this place a try. Decided to stick to corn tortillas…read moresince they make them on site (but still a fan of flour tortillas). Wound up ordering a birria quesadilla and 3 Al pastor tacos. All with corn tortillas but they charge you $2 extra for corn tortilla on the quesadilla but they didn't charge for the consume which was good. The corn tortilla for the quesadilla was a bit thick for my preference but I think that's the only way to keep all the meat inside and not break. I suggest getting the flour tortilla on quesadillas. But, the birria meat and consume were really good. And, you get a lot of meat in a quesadilla. It's big enough for 2 people. Al pastor was good too. Still need to try the carne asada. They charge 2% fee for credit cards so bring cash unless you ordered online. No parking except street parking which can suck around dinner time as they get busy. They also have few seats inside so you see people order ahead (online or phone) and double park to pick up. And, it's best if you speak some Spanish to communicate. Having said all this, perhaps a 3.5 is my rating.

If you're craving authentic antojitos from Ciudad Guzmán in the southern region of Jalisco,…read moreAntojitos Los Cuates in Compton is absolutely worth the drive. As someone who grew up enjoying the flavors of Jalisco, I had been yearning for the famous raspadas--large homemade tostadas--and the variety of traditional antojitos that are so popular back home. My family and I decided to give this place a try, so we made the drive all the way from Riverside County to Compton, and I can honestly say we were not disappointed. This is a small, family-owned restaurant with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food tastes homemade, just like the meals your mamá would make in Jalisco. You can tell that every dish is prepared with care, tradition, and pride. We ordered the tostadas, tortas ahogadas, and tacos duros, and every item was packed with authentic flavor. Unfortunately, we arrived around 3:30 PM and missed out on the pozole because they had already sold out for the day. That alone tells me it's a favorite among their customers, so I highly recommend arriving early if you're hoping to try it. The service was excellent, and despite the restaurant being very busy, the staff remained friendly and attentive. Keep in mind that this is a small family-run establishment, so your food may take a little longer to arrive. However, that's because everything is made fresh to order, and the quality is well worth the wait. Places like this are becoming harder to find. If you're looking for authentic flavors from Jalisco and want to support a hardworking family business, Antojitos Los Cuates is a hidden gem that deserves a visit. We'll definitely be back. The OG spot for authentic, loaded tacos in Gardena I've…read morebeen a regular at El Antojito for years, and it remains one of my go-to taco trucks in the South Bay. If you're looking for high-quality, authentic street tacos at a reasonable price, this is the spot. Why I keep coming back: * The Tacos: They come 'fully loaded' and are incredibly consistent. I'm picky about my onions, and they are always happy to accommodate requests, which I truly appreciate. * Efficiency: The staff is consistently friendly, and even when it's busy, the food comes out fast. * The Vibe: It's a truck with a casual outdoor seating area, making it easy to grab a quick, fresh bite. * The Bonus: Don't skip the small shop on the same lot they have the best treats. I highly recommend grabbing an elote or a mangonada to round out your meal. If you haven't tried them yet, add this to your rotation. It's exactly the kind of local gem that keeps the neighborhood food scene great!

In the last couple of years, the competition for street tacos has gotten fierce. Some street taco stands even make their tortillas on the spot while preparing your meal. Unfortunately, this place hasn't evolved to meet the challenges and match the competition. The food is not bad, don't get me wrong, but it's not worth going out of your way for it. There is plenty of street parking and lots of tables in an open space area. Bring sweaters and jackets if the weather calls for rain or it's cold. The seating area is under the roof but there are no walls to protect you from the wind.
