    Enchiladas de mole con pollo
    Jazmin E.

I cannot say enough good things about the food here. It was excellent, and more than that you could tell it was old school home made Mexican food. Like the kind you eat when you're at an elders family home and you can smell Mexico outside. I haven't had Mexican food that authentic this side of the border unless it was someones home. THAT KIND OF MEXICAN FOOD! Enchiladas the mole con pollo were a dream. Rice and beans were fresh and definitely not canned. Chilaquiles came with a side of buttered and toasted bolillo (not pictured) and I was given the option to add an egg or meat. I opted to keep them simple. I wanted to taste the sauce. They had green or red chilaquiles. BABY LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE GREEN SAUCE! Basically, put yourself on and give this place a try. Tacos dorados de papa were piled high with cabbage, radish, queso cotija, and crema. Ladled a sauce over the top and it was finger licking good. Service was excellent. There's a cute little store in front where you can get Mexican pantry goods brought direct from the motherland. Give this place a try!

Very good food. Had the enchiladas verdes and the flautas. Both were delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Place was nice and clean. Not too busy - good ambiance.

The food here is great. Its not your standard mexican restaurant. The flavors you can tell feels like mom made it. The service and ambiance matches the quality of the food. There is a reason this place has an almost perfect rating. Gotta come back......

There was no reason for this food to be so good. It was amazing! I didn't know what I wanted and glad our server suggested the Flautas de Pollo. I ate it all up. I tried some of sister's Enchiladas de Mole Con Pollo and it was soooo good. It was my favorite.I hadn't had that type of sauce on my enchiladas before. Will come again.

Amazing service and amazing food!! Ordered asada and adobada tacos. Asada burrito and chicken enchiladas. All the food was well flavored and cooked well. Service was always so very attentive and sweet. We will be back !

Place is really small. About 5 tables. We were a party of 4 and had to wait a bit. There is a table outside but it was hot on this day so we waited. Came to try the tortas ahogadas but they ran out :( it was 12:50pm ish. I did ask for next time and the lady said we can call in to ask if there are still some and have them put aside. Good thing I checked out the reviews and menu beforehand because the enchiladas and tostadas were so good! The salsa on the table was spicy and bomb. Pero me quede con las ganas de las tortas. Un dia regresare a probarlas!

Small restaurant, the Food was tasty and closest thing to the original recipes. Service was good we did have to wait for the food to arrive and not all came out together. But it was a bit pricey for the amount of food you get. The area does not have it's own parking lot and it's in a shady area.

Came here with the coworker for lunch early. He got the chilaquiles de pollo and I had three tacos of pastor. The tacos were great warms savory and overall really good. His food look really delicious and he ate the whole plate completely! I would give this place 10 Stars if I could

This is was one of my favorite places to go, I always start off with a cold beer or if I'm hungover the micheladas are really good. The food is one of a kind it's super authentic and everything is made fresh! I recommend the tostada raspada and sopes. Great customer service they treat you like family!

That is the downside of this place: parking. It's in a center with a lot of great places so you may want to find street parking before coming in that's mostly what gave the star rating for this in addition to the food taking a while to get to the table. They bring out chips and salsa which was great since they will take a while to get your food. Other tables that would come in later would get their food sooner. I got the green chilaquiles thinking it would come out sooner but it was the very last thing to arrive. My partner got their food before mine and I still sat there as other tables for their chilaquiles first. It took about 20 min get our food. The chips and salsa they give table side are tasty. Don't eat too much of it esp if you get the chilaquiles since it's a lot of chips. The salsa is not spicy at all! My partner got the Birria omelette. It was pretty good but the egg itself was a bit overcooked. It was a strange combination but the Birria was tasty by itself. He would come back to try the meat in a taco. Could have used some sort of lighter element. Everything was too savory on the plate. The plate was screaming for something fresh on it. The cafe the olla was so good. A little on the sweet side but that is what is is. The chilaquiles were good too. I would say maybe add more salsa or get something else because it was way too much chips. This is def something you would share for the table a not got for yourself. I would come back to try something without chips. It's really cute inside. So well decorated but I can see how they can have a wait if it fills up since it got fully crowded while we waiting for the long wait to get out food.

Very professional and knowledgeable about the menu and non-dairy items. Provided us with what we needed right away, the container for the salsa and brought out fresh ones for me. Very nice guy. The food came out right away. The portions were big in my opinion. The prices were decent, the portion was great, and best of all the service was good. Their self-serve condiments was a PLUS! I've been to a lot of taco spots and these were by far the freshest and crispiest cucumbers, fresh cold salsa, onions and cilantro was also fresh. The food was good and filled us up. I ordered the asada, carnitas, al pastor, tripas, cabeza, and lengua. The asada was tender with a nice grilled flavor, but my favorites were definitely the tripas and cabeza. Both were a little greasy, but in a good way--they had a lot of flavor and were probably the standouts of the meal for me. One thing I liked was the condiment bar. You can load up your tacos with as much onion and cilantro as you want, plus they have radishes and lime wedges available. They also offer two salsas, a red and a green. Both tasted good and had solid flavor, although I was hoping for a little more heat. Overall, it's a solid taco spot, especially on Taco Tuesday. Good variety of meats, reasonable prices, and plenty of toppings to customize your tacos. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area and craving some tacos.
