The food was Terrible. The chicken was charbroil burnt. It tasted like it was burnt. The beans had no flavor and macaroni. Salad tasted like it was store-bought. It was terrible. I could only take a few bites of this food and right away, my stomach started to ache. I had a trouble night with stomach cramping and have a visit from Mr. diarrhea please think twice before you go to this place. this place is kind of set up like a fast food restaurant atmosphere. This was recommended to me by a coworker who's eaten here before. They said the chicken was really good. I walked in. They just remodeled the restaurant. It's very spacious with seating and booths along the wall. Plenty of tables in case anyone wants to dine in. The cashiers are located right in the front and the lady was nice enough to answer any of my questions. It was my first time here ordering something. I ordered the whole chicken combo based off of recommendations and it did not disappoint. The chicken was not dry. It was cooked perfectly and came with marinated juices that went well with the chicken. My coworker ordered the Chilaquiles and another one ordered the burrito. I would definitely recommend this place to come try the chicken. I would probably come back to try something else on the menu like the burrito. it's nice that this is close to my office so I can just pick up my lunch and head back in. read more

They produce an inconsistent product. One day, it will be too dry, and the next day, it will not be cooked enough. The marinade or seasoning doesn't seem to get inside the chicken. The pico de gallo is watered down. That would be okay, but they don't compensate for all the extra water with salt and seasoning. So it's bland salsa. Green salsa is delicious. But they do a wonderful job and getting you in and out. This place is located on the east side of town surrounded by commercial complexes. So I ordered for a friend and decided to get myself a taco also. I do believe it was miscommunication because I ordered three chicken tacos for my friend. I then ordered myself a taco. I asked if they made bean and cheese tacos cause I know you can get a bean and cheese burrito all day and night but bean/cheese tacos are not normally advertised. She said yes, so of course. The chicken is so flavorful, marinated, and juicy. It tastes like something you'd for real make at home. Meals come with generous sides and toppings. I got two 4 ounce salsa cups (one roja and one verde) and I didn't even have to beg for it like at El Pollo Loco. I even got chopped onions, cilantro, and lime. My grilled chicken was a generous exact half of a chicken with grilled jalapeno, grilled onion, and did I mention flavor? Upon entering we were greeted. Gris was very knowledgeable about the menu and was extremely helpful. It's impressive that this location is very friendly clean and the vibe is very positive. Our food was really good they go go a bit overboard with onions so make sure if you like onions say light on the onions if you don't love onions. I absolutely love their chicken, it's my favorite dish to order here. Rosa is so nice and gives excellent customer service. She checks on us and brings whatever we need with a smile. My Dad said his Camarones a lá Diablá was delicious but my roasted chicken was super delicious. Their homemade tortillas are fantastic. The salsa & sauces are the best homemade salsas I've had at a restaurant. I feel like I'm at my Abuela's house for dinner. I am a very picky Mexican eater and drive from the Marina to come here. What can I say about this place that hasn't already been said. Wonderful place if you are looking for a classic pollo asado. Served with rice and beans made this plate complete. It's served with a side of corn or flour tortillas. I went with corn and I was extremely pleased to see that they cooked them over the flame so they were fully cooked and didn't tear when you tried to scoop your food up. This place is the super upgrade of Pollo Loco. It's probably better in taste, pricing, & quality. I ordered the chicken plate, and I liked how there's a bar for the salsa. Parking is limited, but service was pretty fast anyway. So customers seemed to be in & out quickly. We order at the cashier, and the food is walked to your table by number.
