Good food, great service & reasonable prices. Kinda hard to find & access cause it's in some office building

There are some restaurants that you can't help but want to support because of how great the owners are. Sup's Chicken is one of those places. It's not a fast food restaurant so they do make the food to order, which is great. The owners Joseph and Young are such sweet human beings. The restaurant is their next endeavor in life and they've made the most of it. You can't help but wish them a lot of luck and hope their restaurant succeeds. Their hours of operation is very limited because they use the down time to prepare for the following week. They have low overhead, which means they are able to offer their meals at an affordable price and the quantity is bigger than most. We came here on the one Saturday they are open per month and there were lots of regulars here already. We wait a little while and got to know the owners a little more. We will be coming back to support this mom and pop. read more

Small and fresh food restaurant. I will say they use lots of quality ingredients. My chicken bulgogi bowl was pretty flavorful but I felt like I was missing something? Maybe veggies??? The portion was generous. The chicken is definitely fresh cooked chicken. Prices are fair and sweet service. They have what looks people cooking who know what they're doing. Plenty of parking. Hours are limited. Great to have variety in the area. read more

WOW this place is so good!!! This food spot is a hidden gem with such good food, service, and prices! It's a little difficult to find since it's in more of an industrial area, but there's a parking lot available. The food was delicious! We ordered a Mild Signature Sandwich, Kimchi Chibap, Boneless Chicken (soy honey flavor, leg and thigh, 8 pieces), and French Fries. Everything is made to order so it all came out so hot, fresh, and crispy! The fried and grilled chicken were so juicy and tasty. And you definitely get the bang for your buck here! There's a few tables inside to sit or you can take the food to go. The owner was so nice and friendly to talk to, she was so sweet! Would definitely recommend and come back again! read more

"There's nothing quite like the crispy, golden perfection of a well-fried piece of chicken." - Gordon Ramsay What more can you ask for than for food to be prepared after you order it? That's how they do it here! The food is worth the approximate 15+ minutes wait! It is served piping hot and fresh. This chicken shop is located just north of the 91 Freeway on S. Main St. in a commercial business area. Seems a like an unusual spot, but hopefully it's a good location for them! There's ample enough parking that's shared with the other businesses. The interior is simple with a few tables so you can eat in there. You order at either the counter or the Kiosk. I love the poster on the wall which simply tells the story of owners Joseph & Young, who love chicken and opened this chicken shop. Young warmly welcomed us and took our order. She checked on us several times and kindly gave me a little goodie bag! What a sweet thing to do! KFC for the win! Korean Fried Chicken, that is! Although they serve up grilled chicken also. We only tried the fried chicken today. We were very impressed with the scrumptious fried chicken! What we ate: *Sweet & Spicy Wings ~ wow, these are amazing! Loved the stickiness of the sauce/glaze! The wings were so tender and juicy with a sweet heat! *Thai Chilli Chibap ~ it's basically a fried chicken and steamed rice plate. It also comes with a flavorsome Thai Chilli Sauce which packs some heat and some pineapple with pickled onions. The pineapple chunks & pickled onions mixed together was interesting - hubby ate the pineapple & I ate the onions. *MooKimchi ~ I'm not 100% sure what it is, but it's definitely radish in some sort of clear liquid. It isn't the usual pickled radish I get with Korean Fried Chicken. *Yakgwa ~ translates from Korean to English as "Medicinal Cookie". We wanted to order Hotteok, but they were out. I was so excited to see it on the menu board, but so sad we couldn't get any today. There are other items we'd like to try, like their sandwiches, Hotteok & a Fruit Milk. It would be nice if they'd add a hot veggie item to their menu... maybe Corn Cheese. Hubby & I thoroughly enjoyed sharing lunch here today! We will be back! read more

A must try if you are in the area! I was so intrigued by the high ratings on Yelp that I decided to try this place and it did not disappoint. Everything is made fresh to order so be aware that it will take long. I recommend considering ordering ahead if you are going for lunch break (like me). It's a small mom and pop restaurant in a business complex area of Gardena. They have a few tables inside so it can get busy during rush hour. I ordered the Garlic Chibap and it was so flavorful. The chicken was juicy, the fried rice was very garlicky. If you love garlic, this is for you! I also tried the wings. I originally ordered Original with Soy Honey sauce on the side but noticed I actually got the Sweet & Spicy Chicken wings and I'm not mad at it. I was actually glad I got that flavor instead. I liked it more than the Soy Honey. Their Hotteok was also delicious, not too sweet. Definitely on my list so I can try their other menu items! read more

Friendly service Amazing food We got the sandwich with hot sauce it was so good even my kids liked it Got the bone in wings (I woke up at 1am hungry and ate the last one cold. It was amazingly delicious and still crispy hours later!) Also got the boneless wings - soy honey. SOOOO good! Must get! Again so crispy and even after being refrigerated for six hours and eaten cold haha read more

First of all, the lady which I'm assuming is the owner is so kind and sweet. She's very attentive and asks everyone if the food is good. Great customer service. The dining area is small with a few tables and chairs, but it's clean. Food took about 15-20mins but there were about 4-5 orders ahead of us. Our order came out very fresh and hot. Signature chicken sandwich was great! Chicken was juicy! Loved that it was stuffed and had flavor. It had some kind of slaw in it, not sure if it's the same one on the side menu, but it was so good. I hate buying chicken sandwiches from places and it only has a dry chicken in it. Nope, not this place. Probably one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Amazing. The level 2 sauce it comes with on the side is also quite good. Very smart that they put it on the side just in case people can't handle spicy. The sandwich itself had a bit of spice but nothing crazy. The side sauce had some kick and it wasn't even the spiciest sauce on the menu. Only downside is that there is no restroom? At least I didn't see one, unless it's outside? I'm unsure. Overall, I'd definitely come back again when in this area. read more

Small restaurant located in a business center with decent parking. Interior is clean, though not a lot of seating. Totally understandable! Music was playing at a decent level, mostly pop music and some ballads. Very cozy. Ordered the Garlic Chibap and an order of the sour cream and onion dusted fries. Food arrived quickly, neatly and with everything I could ask for. Utensils, sauces and napkins. Very considerate. Food was delicious, garlic flavor was heavy on the chicken which was great. The cheese/rice combo as a nice way to balance out the flavor and there was an added radish kimchi that made the meal feel light and healthy. Sour Cream and onion fries were well seasoned and the portion was GENEROUS. For the price, you can share with a friend no problem! Sup's Chicken was a great find, the prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. read more

If you're even thinking about Korean fried chicken, stop scrolling and just GO HERE. The wings are incredible, and the owners, Young and Joseph, are absolute gems. We started with two orders of the soy and honey wings, but then Joseph came out to say hi and recommended the sweet and spicy wings, and I'm so glad we took his advice -- they were perfectly balanced, not too spicy, and totally addictive. What really blew us away, though, was how kind and welcoming they were. Young even gave us a little gift just for stopping by -- and we were just random walk-ins! You can tell they genuinely care about their food and their customers. I promise you, this is your new favorite Korean fried chicken spot. read more

We came back again close to closing, but the owners still so lovingly allowed us to sit and enjoy their wonderful food around 5:45pm. The food is always fantastic and this is the first time we got fries and it was a very very generous portion for the money!!! This place in fact gives you a decently big sandwich for the price along with the massive portion of fries. We'll be back to try and sweet and spicy sandwich! We love that the customers here all want them to do well and succeed. 1000% will be back and we'll help clean too! read more

This place is GOOOOOOOD! At least pickup a chicken sandwich to try - the only regret I had was how little capacity my stomach had! I wish I had the space to eat the whole sandwich, because that thing is huge! Every time I come, I leave with half a sandwich for later. You can self order on the machine or go to the counter to order. There's space to eat, but it's really a to go place. There's self serve water as well. The parking is huge, and feels really safe. There's no restroom, so don't make the mistakes of hanging out there for too long and needing to use the restroom. Service is top tier. They're always super sweet even though I always have random questions! read more

I always order from the Gardena restaurant. The chicken is crispy and juicy. Since I eat lunch with my students, I have turned them on to the food. Their parents were disappointed when they found out that you close at 2:00. I like the french fries, and they are cooked perfectly. I don't know about the ambiance of the place since I order from Uber Eats. Hey can I get a discount for my class . They're eating up my lunch! read more

I wish I could post a picture of my food but it looked VERY good and couldn't wait to Indulge. The place has a is a small but cozy ambiance which was a bonus to the delightful meal we had. Sup's Chicken - Signature Fried Chicken Sandwich sooo good with the hot sauce they provide. Very flavorful, filling and super nice staff. - Chicken Shop Near Me - Gardena, California

Just got done with a meeting at work and was looking for something to eat for me to bring back home for dinner. Ran the roulette to see new and fresh places i haven't been to yet and this popped up. Saw the pictures and read the menu and off i went. Got there and was pretty dead which was nice for me so. I tried the kiosk but it didnt have the fizz mango drink on it so I went to the counter. Was met by the manager of the shop that took my order. Seems to be a mom and pop shop. Nice and cozy. Order was taken with ease and the manager gave me a run down of the food they had and told me about the different flavor profile. Im not big into spicy but i said i will try the sauce. I ordered mango fizz, salad, garlic and kimichi chibap. Garlic chibap - delicious full of flavor. Rice had great flavor proflie with nice tender dark meat on top with cheese. This was super tasty. Kimchi chibap - delicious and really good chicken flavoring and kimchi sauce. Added the spicy sauce, and it is spicy. Not my cup of tea but for the spicy people out there its nice. Salad - This was same as the Garlic chibap but low carbs which is nice since it was the same flavor profile with the topped chicken. The twist is the pinapple vingarette. That with the chicken and salad was nice. I would get the salad as number one choice for the low carb value of it. Get the garlic or kimchi rice if i wanna be a fatty. I would definitely order those on cheat days. Definitely will come back. read more

I have to say this is the best small food business around. I will also add this is the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. I'm super particular about giving 5 star reviews, but this place should have a ten star review. This place is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. People from all over Southern California should come try this place out. Distance should not matter. The food, the service, everything is fantastic. The owners are so hospitable, I just want to see their business boom with success. I bought a signature chicken sandwich on Monday. I came back the day after and bought 20 signature sandwich's for all my workers. My workers had nothing but great things to say about the sandwich. One worker said "I ruined chicken sandwiches for him because this is the best he's ever had." I like seeing businesses like this succeed, because you can tell they put their heart into their work. I can't wait to bring my family here. The inside is perfect to sit down and have a bite. They even helped me bring my large order to my work truck. I appreciate this place and wish other places were like it. If you have a chance to make a trip here, trust me you won't regret it. read more

This place is freaking delicious. The chicken sandwiches, their fried chicken, salad, sides. I have tried everything and its all good. Service is amazing, but I recommend you call your order in ahead of time so you dont have to wait as they will make everything to order and it gets busy. My go to orders are the hot and spicy boneless chicken 11/10. Crispy, juicy, with a nice kick of heat. The hot chicken sandwich 10/10. Huge crispy cutlet of chicken. Well balanced with the slaw. The hot sauce comes on the side so you can control how hot it is. AND lastly, dont sleep on the chicken arugula salad 10/10. Its filling with the generous amount of chicken, shaved parm, and that pineapple vinaigrette is chef's kiss. read more

Wow because this was a restaurant that changed ownership at my work building, I was expecting this place to be a dinky eatery with mediocre food. This place ended up being way more trendy interior, cute and hand drawn menu on the digital and contactless ordering kiosk. They have mango, blueberry, or strawberry soda or milks that look delicious. Their pricing and volume of food given was totally fair. The downside to this place is... if you are short on time and your company has a strict lunch time... this place may not be for you. They have it on the sign. They make it fresh to order so if you get fried food, definitely it will take at least 10 minutes. The gentleman before me had ordered 10 min before me and got a sandwich but he complained it was taking too long I had 4 people in front of me, and mine took about 20 minutes. I got their wings and fries set. They let you flavor the chicken to either original, soy sauce made, salt and vinegar. Friday had a bunch of other powder choices. I chose sour cream and onion. I don't know if the lady overheard the customer being upset, but she gave me extra fries for the wait. I say they were a bit too much on the powder but Regardless it was tasty. I took leftovers to my son and he truly enjoyed the fries even when it was cold lol The place seemed to be run by kind Korean mom n pop. Kinda similar vibes to past owners. They gave me a free beauty mask! I am not gonna lie. I am excited this establishment opened now that I have to commute twice a week to the office! Welcome to the building SUP Chicken you will see me more often! read more

Made to order, so food is always fresh! Really great spot to eat at. The service is great

Small little family owned place that has 5 star service and a really good chicken sandwich. I got the mild version only because I don't know how hot the hot spice level is. It was a very tasty and well made chicken sandwich. They have a few options for French fries and I can say the vinegar fries are very good. I only dropped one star off a 5 rating because of the wait. It was 30 minutes from placing the order to the food being ready at the counter. I feel bad because they are so nice but lunch is only 1 hour and with the drive to and from a 30 minute wait is hard to accept. I will try it again as the food was delicious! read more

Sup's Chicken is a MUST try, and all the food/drinks here are fresh to order! PRICES are really affordable compared to other fried chicken spots. It's a family-owned business run only by the two owners so it's a perfect spot to support! Their chicken wings don't come out extremely fast, but the wait is worth it because you can really taste the quality. It's a small storefront with limited seating, located in a commercial area with plenty of parking. I wish I could try more of their menu items, but so far, I have tried their boneless and bone-in chicken wings, which are fried to perfection. I love their soy garlic and salt & vinegar flavors. There wasn't too much sauce or seasoning, which I liked. You can enjoy the actual chicken itself. Moving out to their chicken sandwich ($12), I love their mild chicken sandwich, which comes with fried chicken thigh, cabbage, pickled onion, mayo, and signature sauce on a French roll. The flavor of the sandwich is sweet, with a kick. Their Goguma Latte is a sweet potato drink that isn't too sweet. It honestly tastes better than you would think. It has a chalky flavor but doesn't affect the drink too much. I also enjoyed their strawberry milk with oat milk, which is my go-to drink of choice. read more
