This place is new to us. We are very pleasantly surprised. We ordered the cheesyling and kalbi to go a 20+ minute car ride and still sat on our table for about 15 mins more. We opened the box and much to our surprise the chicken was very crispy, juicy and tender. I love the box design and packaging is very smart! It is definitely is the reason why the wings were still crispy after sitting in the box for so long. The staff was great, very helpful, and patient. There are specific type of flavors you can order with certain chicken. We originally wanted the soy garlic with half chicken, but apparently there is only 3 flavors you could choose from if you want a half chicken. So we ended up ordering soy garlic wings and rose tteokbokki. It took about 20 mins for us to get our food, which they did warn us after we placed our order. The chicken itself was tender and juicy. However, there was too much sauce/coating on the chicken, which takes away from the crispiness of the skin. The rose tteokbokki was soft and chewy and the flavor was good. We just wished it came with more other ingredients (cabbage, fish cake), and possibly a bigger portion. The inside is relatively small, as most people would probably do take out orders. The Honey Garlic Wings were the exact crunch I was looking for, as for the Secret Sauce wings, they were drenched in sauce and weren't as flavorful & made the wings soggy. The fries I was not a fan of at all, they were COATED in powdered cheese, I was only able to eat about 3. Sadly I had to throw them away because I could not tolerate the texture and taste. Didn't exactly feel the most comfortable walking in due to the surroundings (note that I'm from out of state), but that also might be normal as a local. When we got here and ordered 16 wings, they told us it would take about 20 minutes. Surprisingly (or not surprisingly) it came out almost exactly 20 minutes after. Around 3:40 PM, a young girl working at the register, who was the same employee assisting us the entire time, informed me that they forgot my request for no cheese and asked if I still wanted the bowls as prepared. I asked if they could be remade, and I was told that would be another 15-minute wait, or they could "try to take the cheese out." To avoid waiting longer, I agreed to have the cheese removed. After waiting another 10 minutes, she returned and said they couldn't remove all the cheese. At that point, I accepted the food as is. It's important to note that there were no other customers in the restaurant, and only two employees working, who were mostly talking and laughing throughout my entire wait--likely contributing to the mistake despite my clear request. Because of the error, I was offered half of my money back, but the employee refused to refund it to my card and insisted on giving it in cash only, which I found strange and inconvenient. I accepted it simply to avoid further delays, as I had already been waiting over 30 minutes without receiving my food. I finally received my two bowls at 3:55 PM, nearly 45 minutes later, with no apology, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, and no attempt to properly address the situation. After almost an hour in an empty restaurant, the lack of professionalism and basic customer service was extremely disappointing. When I asked for her name so I could follow up with a manager, she refused. While I understand privacy policies, the overall handling of this situation was unacceptable. I don't leave negative reviews lightly, but this experience showed a serious lack of organization, accountability, and customer care. Today I walked over from the credit union and was I glad. The place is small seats 16 ppl, four tables and chairs. The menu is basically the wings, types and sizes. Each order comes with 1 radish. I usually add a side of steam white rice. I really like the flavor of the wings. They are sweet and the skin is crispy. I love eating them with rice. The radish is a great side dish and balances out the savory and saltiness of the wings. They are pretty messy to eat, but they do provide gloves, which is helpful and kind of make it fun to eat. Prices are expensive. It is $16.99 for 8 wings. I wish they'd offer a smaller serving like 4-6 pieces of wings.
