I've been eating here since it opened (30+ times). The chicken wings are much smaller than before and the crispy coating is now very thin. A 16 piece used to barely close in the box and now a 24 piece closes easily. As a result, since I believe they cook for the same amount of time, it is now very dry (smaller wings and much less batter). The portion of French fries has also shrunk by around 30% or more. This is a franchise so each one is independently ran, but I will likely choose another location if next time is the same. read more

There are specific type of flavors you can order with certain chicken. We originally wanted the soy garlic with half chicken, but apparently there is only 3 flavors you could choose from if you want a half chicken. So we ended up ordering soy garlic wings and rose tteokbokki. It took about 20 mins for us to get our food, which they did warn us after we placed our order. The chicken itself was tender and juicy. However, there was too much sauce/coating on the chicken, which takes away from the crispiness of the skin. The rose tteokbokki was soft and chewy and the flavor was good. We just wished it came with more other ingredients (cabbage, fish cake), and possibly a bigger portion. The inside is relatively small, as most people would probably do take out orders. The Honey Garlic Wings were the exact crunch I was looking for, as for the Secret Sauce wings, they were drenched in sauce and weren't as flavorful & made the wings soggy. The fries I was not a fan of at all, they were COATED in powdered cheese, I was only able to eat about 3. Sadly I had to throw them away because I could not tolerate the texture and taste. This place is new to us. We are very pleasantly surprised. We ordered the cheesyling and kalbi to go a 20+ minute car ride and still sat on our table for about 15 mins more. We opened the box and much to our surprise the chicken was very crispy, juicy and tender. I love the box design and packaging is very smart! I believe the owner was at the front of the restaurant today. She's a lovely Korean woman and she provided such great customer service. She's very sweet was so apologetic that the internet was causing ordering issues, even though it wasn't even in her control. We still received our order on time. She gave us all free soda cans and later on during our meal, a sample basket of honey garlic wings. The other younger employee with glasses and black hair was also very sweet and apologetic. It was very busy in there but you could tell everyone was working very hard to accommodate to all the customers. We got one of our favorites, the spicy galbi wings, and they were perfectly crisp and well seasoned. The rosé tteokbokki complimented the wings by providing a deliciously creamy, savory addition to our meal. Restaurant is kept clean. The owner really went above and beyond to please all of her customers. We had a great dining experience and will be back as this is one of our favorite KFC spots. read more

I had a very frustrating and unprofessional experience at bb.q Chicken. I arrived at 3:10 PM and placed an order for two bowls, clearly specifying no cheese. I was told the wait time would be 15 minutes, which was reasonable. Around 3:40 PM, a young girl working at the register, who was the same employee assisting us the entire time, informed me that they forgot my request for no cheese and asked if I still wanted the bowls as prepared. I asked if they could be remade, and I was told that would be another 15-minute wait, or they could "try to take the cheese out." To avoid waiting longer, I agreed to have the cheese removed. After waiting another 10 minutes, she returned and said they couldn't remove all the cheese. At that point, I accepted the food as is. It's important to note that there were no other customers in the restaurant, and only two employees working, who were mostly talking and laughing throughout my entire wait--likely contributing to the mistake despite my clear request. Because of the error, I was offered half of my money back, but the employee refused to refund it to my card and insisted on giving it in cash only, which I found strange and inconvenient. I accepted it simply to avoid further delays, as I had already been waiting over 30 minutes without receiving my food. I finally received my two bowls at 3:55 PM, nearly 45 minutes later, with no apology, no acknowledgment of the inconvenience, and no attempt to properly address the situation. After almost an hour in an empty restaurant, the lack of professionalism and basic customer service was extremely disappointing. When I asked for her name so I could follow up with a manager, she refused. While I understand privacy policies, the overall handling of this situation was unacceptable. I don't leave negative reviews lightly, but this experience showed a serious lack of organization, accountability, and customer care. Today I tried this place for the first time. When I come over here for banking I can smell the garlic in the air and I always leave before I get to stop. Today I walked over from the credit union and was I glad. The place is small seats 16 ppl, four tables and chairs. The menu is basically the wings, types and sizes. I recommend the secret sauce. It's a sweet, tangy, and slightly spicy sauce that's delicious. Radish cubes also come packed nicely on the side to enjoy with the chicken. The Rose ddeok-bokki dish is my fav. It comes with chewy rice cakes paired with a creamy, rich sauce, fish cakes, and a half egg. This dish is a popular menu item and the portion is large and shareable. I love enjoying this meal with white rice. The amount of food for the price is very affordable.
