Stopped by because tik tok said they have some of the most flavorful spicy wings. I ordered the 10pm eve wings combo with bbq on the side and Korean bbq. I also ordered 3 tenders with their famous "wing ferno" dry rub. The space is quite decent and had plenty of seating. The staff were nice and welcoming but wasn't as helpful as there were plenty of deals I didn't know about as a first timer, which could have benefited me. When I got home I realized despite saying bbq sauce on the side, they still sauced my wings and they were soggy by the time I got home so I needed to put them in the air fryer. The chicken had good flavor because of the sauce but it was not seasoned. The tenders were nice size, crispy and SPICY! their dry rub definitely was extremely spicy to the point I couldn't finish all 3 tenders. The fries were fresh crispy and seasoned and really good. After I left I noticed on the window there was a daily deal similar to what I ordered, I wish the staff would have notified me to help me save a couple bucks. All in all it's a cool place to order wings, however I've had better options. I may go back to try different flavors. read more

I was on tik tok at home and I saw a girl do a review on Wing Ferno and immediately I wanted to order some once I got the chance to. So yesterday I placed an order I got the 10 piece combo with lemon pepper fries and a drink. I got 5 in lemon pepper and 5 in spicy Korean and I got an extra dip and tried the diva sauce. First and foremost the lemon pepper was so good well seasoned and so crispy the spicy Korean was well seasoned too it was so tasty and the fries were perfectly cooked too. The fry on the wings are nice and crispy, but the seasoning wasn't enough. The Garlic Parmesan wings had a great sauce, but I wish the wings had been tossed in it rather than having the sauce just poured over them as it makes them soggy. Pro tip: Use the leftover sauce to dip both veggies and fries. Both the Honey Sriracha and Sweet Thai Chili are great, an even coat, both sweet with some spicy zing. Before today I considered wing ferno as the #1 wing spots in LA and i have recommended it to friends and family but today turned me completely off. I ordered a variety of wing flavors totaling about $85 and usually the car is filled with the aroma of spices not today but we thought nothing of it. Mind you we live In west Los Angeles about 30-40 mins away from the Gardena location and then travel another 15-20 mins from there to Lomita to visit my mom and enjoy the wings together. We get there proceed to eat and each one of us noticed the lack of flavor and spice that is normally there I mean they were tasteless. My mom said it's like the chicken was water logged, even the garlic fries were absent of taste. We were thinking we had covid or something but nope something was very wrong. We contacted the restaurant and after they spoke with the manager they called back maybe 3hrs later at which point we are now all the way back in west Los Angeles. They offered $25 dollar refund or to bring the food back at get a full refund it's 9pm. The entire incident left a bad taste. Unfortunately we will not be returning. read more

The decor is pretty simple with several TVs with one having images of their wingferno challenge. The place was alright in its cleanliness but the floors were slightly sticky. The counter service was friendly enough but it does take a while for the food to come out. (At least the wings are fresh). Now the food. I had an order of boneless wings, half in buffalo and in spicy Korean. I am very impressed with the rich tang of the Buffalo sauce and it has to be one of my top buffalo wings I have had. The spicy Korean was less spicy to my palette than the Buffalo and was good but not besting the Buffalo. I also had my friends Louisiana dry rub and those had fantastic flavor, surpassing the spicy Korean. Last on the list was the fries he had. They were plain and slightly flimsy. I have eaten at wing ferno three times. Normally their wings are well seasoned and delicious. But, the last time, I ordered lemon pepper wings, I immediately got sick. I only ate three wings but they nearly ruined by trip to the Hollywood bowl because I ate those three wings and almost had to leave the Roots Concert early. I have had food poisoning before and this was a mild case but there was definitely some bacteria in the chicken (either it sat out in the heat while it was raw or it was old chicken).
