This place is a must! Good wings, great fried chicken and their jalapeño poppers both cream cheese and cheddar are delish! They have gd fries and their sauces are all tasty! Their customer service is good too, super chill and friendly people! They have plenty of room with giant tv's playing old school jams! :)

The wings here were excellent! Duper fresh, nice and crispy, and well seasoned! The place is also really clean, has neat r&b music vibes in the evening, and the folks working here are super chill! The cashier was really nice and attentive, and the cooks in the back seemed to come out every once in a while to help out or organize a thing or two. I got the lemon pepper wings (bomb, definitely get something to drink though or carrots, helps wash it down, but this seasoning is goooood). Then I tried the Dynamite dry seasoning? I thought it was okay, wasn't too flavorful for me, I like something a little zestier, more complex, was hoping for a more Cajun like acidity or something. Nonetheless, deliciously crispy wings, seasoning or not. Great spot for catching up with friends or a casual place to grab a yummy bite with the fam. Had one odd ball guy who came and asked me for god knows what. Eh, what are you gonna do? I felt safe with staff around, not something I'm bothered by personally, but just being honest about my experience dining in. Great food! I really recommend the wings here, I would come back if I'm nearby!

Delicious! Great food and service! Love the ambiance! One of my favorite places to get excellent food and music!

    Boneless wings, fries, eggrolls.

Consistency is the rarest virtue in casual dining, and SoCal Wings possesses it in spades. Time and again, they deliver with precision and flair. The wings are nothing short of exemplary; juicy, crisply rendered, and infused with flavor that lingers without overwhelming. Each bite strikes that elusive balance between texture and taste. Fries arrive perfectly seasoned, neither limp nor overdone, are a humble side elevated to something memorable. But it's the eggrolls that offer the most delightful indulgence: the buffalo rendition is rich and punchy, while the chicken bacon variety borders on the decadent, unapologetically bold in both flavor and form. Add to this an atmosphere of consistently excellent service, and what you have is not simply a meal, but a reliably satisfying experience.

I've been craving some really good wings, but I haven't been able to find any in my area (Valley). I found SoCal Wings on Yelp and decided to try them today while in L.A. The service was great and the wings are a 10/10! I ordered the Spicy Lemon Pepper (semi-wet) and the Soy Garlic Sriracha (wet) with a side of garlic fries. OMG. I think my favorite flavor is the Soy Garlic Sriracha. The food was hot and fresh to order. Next time, I'll ask for easy salt on the fries (they were a bit too salty for me) and I plan to try the fried rice. The wings definitely hit the spot!

Haven't had a single thing bad from this place yet. Only bad thing about it is me trying not to go there after I finished working out

The go to spot when you need a good meal with great service, excellent quality and good prices. Huge menu to order from so a few visits will be needed to understand what your favorites are. Personal recommendations are the jalapeño poppers (cheddar & cream cheese), catfish nuggets and the chicken sandwich. Family owned and operated, support local businesses!

Behind the waitress stand is more seating overlooking the open kitchen where you can take in the sights and smells of the employees working on their craft. The interior is decorated simply and cleanly with wall decorations but most of the focus drawn to the kitchen. I ordered the avocado cream cheese (with onion and bacon) spaghetti. The avocado and cream cheese tag teamed into a creamy coating on the noodles with a tang from the cheese and a richness from the avocado. The onion and bacon added some necessary contrast, crunch, and meatiness to the meal. The noodle texture is excellent with a nice snap. Unfortunately, it does reach a point where the cheese becomes too rich to consume and I found myself requiring breaks before resuming. All in all, a very good meal and a definite recommend in the area for the experience.

This is in a little food court, but a high quality food court. There are so many great options here! Theres a parking lot, and plenty of seating inside and outside. It's a causal spot, nice and clean with plenty of options. You place your order at the counter (you can use the ipad to order, except if you want the Fak'ed up fries, those you need to order with an employee). The shrimp - I could eat these forever. Holy toledos these are so good. I got the karaage chicken with the cheehoo teri sauce. The sauce is soooooo bomb. The chicken is perfectly cooked. And the red noon is the perfect addition of acidity. The Mac salad was great, stick to your ribs kinda good Now I ordered several other plates for my friend, including the teriyaki chicken, and the fak'ed up fries with shrimp and karaage chicken. He said the fak'ed up fries were fire, so good, he didn't even know that's exactly what he wanted. I have to come back to try them - I didn't know they were a thing bc they're not on the menu. But after I placed my original order I saw a video of the fak'ed up fries on their board and they looked so good, I had to buy them for him. I also got him the crispy spam musubi and the POGua Fresca, and he loved those. I will definitely DEFINITELY be back here!

There are a lot of new options and unfortunately no more chicken katsu. After my previous review, the owner actually reached out and offered to have me come back and try the food again, which I genuinely appreciated. I never took them up on the free food offer because I prefer to keep reviews honest, but the gesture still stood out to me. This time I ordered the 2-item combo with the honey sesame chicken karaage and kalua pork. The karaage was easily my favorite part of the meal. It was crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I asked for all the sauces on the side and the green sauce paired really well with it. The kalua pork was tender, but a little sweeter than I personally prefer for traditional kalua pork, so I'd probably try a different protein next time instead. I also grabbed a spam musubi, but the portions were so generous that I didn't even get around to eating it until I got home later. While I still miss the old chicken katsu, I get that menus evolve, and overall this visit was a much better experience than my previous one.

Our usual not-so-usual go-to for Chinese in the South Bay had been Seashore at Calle Mayor and PCH but I remembered the food being somewhat bland on the last visit several months back. I also liked the All-Day Happy Hour! $3 house wines, beer and hot sake as well as the complimentary (and delicious) garlic noodles with $50 purchase ($11.95 value). We ordered the Crispy Crabmeat Cream Cheese Wontons ($10), Spicy Orange Crispy Chicken ($21.95), Kung Pao Chicken ($21.95), Sweet and Sour Pork ($20.95), Beef with Broccoli ($20.95), Mongolian Beef ($21.95) and Crispy Honey Shrimp ($25.95). Yeah, the prices, I know, but again the All-Day Happy Hour and the free noods! The food was a hit...everything was great, fresh ingredients, packed with flavor. The Crispy Chicken wasn't spicy so don't worry if that's not your jam...the Mongolian Beef was probably my favorite and the crispy honey shrimp was lightly fried "to perfection". I hate that phrase but it is appropriate here, truly. Service was excellent. The food came out very quickly and our server was fantastic. It was my 87 year old Mom's birthday and they brought out a cheesecake and candle for her too. We did have tons of left-overs so it will go a longer way which helps with the cost. To our surprise, we found this "new" place, The Second Wind. The menu looked enticing and the lunch specials really looked like a great deal. So we decided we needed to come back for lunch and soon. A week later, we returned. Parking is very easy in the free lot for the complex. The interior design is energenic, vivrant with amazing looking Asian inspired pop art. Very cool interior. You can be seated and served or order to go. They have a combination lunch special, two items for $15.99. But, many of those items have an up charge if you add a protien. Either way, in these times, $16 for two items is reasonable. Our server greeted us quickly and let us choose the table of our liking. There are a handful of booths and open tables. My wife ordered the Beef Bulgogi and the Eggplant. I ordered the Chicken Dumplings and the Garlic Noodle (adding chicken for $2 more). The portions are generous. Light eaters might be able to just order one two dish combo and share. The Beef Bulgogi was good but the veggies looked a bit dehydrated. The Eggplant was just okay. The Chicken Dumplings were very tasty but served cool. I ordered them steamed and expected them to be warm at least. The Garlic Noodles with chicken was the biggest disappointment. To me, and my wife, over cooked with crunchy pieces. The chicken was also over cooked, dry and tough. When our server asked how things were, I mentioned it. He didn't seem surprised. I asked if the noodles were always dry and he said yes. He offered to bring more sauce, which he did. I added it but it didn't make the chicken any better. In the end, I left 90% of it. They only have cans of sodas so no refills but they are attached to a tea house that serves a great selection of teas, bobo, etc. There was some good things but more not, overall, we were disappointed. Honestly, I was a bit surprised they didn't offer to replace my dish or offer a small discount. They could see the pile of food I left. Anyway... Hopefully your experience and food preparation will be better than ours and...enjoy!!!
