Famous Wok-Stirred Garlic Noodles
Shirely C.

We recently visited Lotus Asian Grill for lunch with a group of five, and it turned out to be a wonderful dining experience. The lunch special was definitely the highlight. Each meal came with a main dish, salad, soup, and rice, making it both satisfying and great value. Every dish we tried was delicious. Our favorites included the Black Pepper Filet Mignon, Sweet and Sour Pork, Sautéed Mixed Vegetables, and the flavorful Kung Pao Threesome. Since it was our first visit, we didn't realize how generous the portions were. We ended up ordering a couple of extra dishes--Ma Po Tofu and Spicy Garlic Eggplant--which were also excellent, but definitely more food than we expected! The service was impressive, with attentive and friendly staff who made the experience even more enjoyable. We also appreciated the modern, clean atmosphere, which made the restaurant feel comfortable and welcoming. Overall, it was a fantastic lunch, and the combination of great food, generous portions, and a pleasant environment definitely encourages us to come back again. Highly recommended!

We went for lunch as they have a terrific menu with very reasonable prices. Lunch includes soup, salad and entree. Hubby wasn't feeling well so he ordered hot and sour soup which he loved. I'm not a soup lover so I ordered double salad (it was a ver generous portion and the dressing is delicious) and king pao shrimp. The sauce on this dish has a slight kick to it and has that satisfying umami flavor. Lots of shrimp and veggies. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Wonderful place.

First time dinning at Lotus Asian Grill. Great service and very nice ambiance. The restaurant is also immaculate! We wanted to try everything and ordered several dishes to try. It should be noted that the portion sizes are VERY generous. Therefore, you will likely take food home. 1. Garlic and soy Brussels sprouts, which were roasted to perfection with large chunks of roasted garlic everywhere. Very flavorful and cooked to perfection. 2. Kung Pao Beef: Lots of tender slices of beef with mixed vegetables, peanuts and roasted red chilies. Absolutely fantastic! 3. Salt and Pepper Crispy Chicken: very tender white meat chicken battered and fried (similar coating to orange chicken). Light salty & peppery sauce loaded with lots of green onions and roasted red peppers. This dish did NOT disappoint!! 4. Garlic Noodles: Lotus is running a special where if you order $50 or more, they include a heaping bowl of garlic noodles. They were SPECTACULAR!! Garlicky with a slight smoky flavor. Regardless if you spend $50, this is a must order!! Tip: Lotus has a membership program, where you can earn reward points for every dollar you spend. You also get a $5 off just for signing up. In conclusion, great food and service!

As a South Bay resident who has been patronage this location when it was W for many years with the Chong family. Devastated, they decided to close down because this has been the community's family restaurant, aka our kitchen lol. We are pleased to find that Lotus Asian Grill has taken over! The food is delicious and the service is friendly and good. The food were all pretty delicious. Our favorite dishes were the fillet mignon cubes, walnut shrimp, and the eggplant. The Hong Kong crispy garlic lobster was pretty authentic too! Parking lot in the back of the restaurant.

Walked in and was seated right away in a booth. Very comfortable booth by the way. The ambience of the restaurant is nice lightly dimmed with TV so you can watch sports games. Also, there is calming music playing while you dine. The staff at this restaurant is very friendly. For lunch, I had the sautéed vegetables and added tofu. I asked the waitress for this dish to be made special for me and it tasted delicious. The presentation and the food is very good and I recommend this dish. This is the place to be Lotus Asian Grill Redondo Beach, California

I do not recommend this place. Food quality went down. Plus I found a long piece of black hair soon as they placed our noodles on our table. Basically lost my appetite.

I went with my friend last Thursday night. You ca park behind the restaurant. There's plenty of parking. Service is quick. We ordered the orange chicken with brown rice. Chicken was very tasty but overcooked. Portion is small. No veggies. You can order separate. Prices wasn't too high.

I like surprises. It was not great. I believe they put a sliver of lime on the top of the roll that gave it a way too face forward citrus punch to the tongue. I didn't like it. No sauce or ginger helped it. Service was good, they were clearly understaffed as the 2 women were running around crazy, checking out tables, seating guests and dropping off plates. The ambiance is nice, the employees are very friendly and loud. It is a very casual sushi spot. Parking is of course atrocious in riveria village, it's metered. There's seating indoor and outdoor.

This is hands down some of the freshest, highest-quality sushi I've had in the South Bay -- maybe even in all of LA! From start to finish, every dish was beautifully presented and unbelievably delicious. The sashimi platter was perfection -- thick, buttery cuts of salmon, tuna, scallops, octopus, and more. You can literally taste how fresh everything is. The Amaebi (sweet shrimp) was so delicate, and they even served the shrimp heads crispy, which was amazing! The appetizers were just as impressive -- * Crispy baby squid with a creamy dipping sauce * Refreshing cucumber salad * Perfectly blistered shishito peppers * Fresh mixed greens with a bright dressing * And the grilled yellowtail collar... SO juicy and flavorful! The long wooden nigiri board was stunning -- every single piece was melt-in-your-mouth good. The quality, presentation, and flavors are truly next-level. Pop music was playing (think Anne-Marie's 2002), LED lighting, and large posters advertising specials and desserts. The vibe was very much what I anticipated (3/5), but the space was clean and well kept, which matters most (4/5 for cleanliness). We arrived around 7:30 PM; they close at 9 PM. What pleasantly surprised me was the food. Both the roll and poke bowl were very simple in creation, but simplicity was done well. Minimal ingredients meant the quality and execution had room to shine without needing to hide behind extras. My poke bowl with seaweed salad, greens, and brown rice was fresh and tasty. My boyfriend's Redondo roll, ango, spicy tuna, and cucumber--was especially well balanced; the mango was perfectly ripe, not mushy or sour. On that basis, the food earns a 4/5. Service wise, there were a few small mix ups: I was served a Kirin instead of the Kirin Light I ordered, our dishes were placed on the wrong sides of the table (swapped) and macaroons from a neighboring table were added to our check. None of these were major issues, but they did point to a lack of attentiveness. I'm feeling forgiving, so I didn't let it weigh too heavily on the rating. I'd be curious to check out their all day happy hour next time, details are available via the QR code (attached photo). I'd say this is a solid, though it hasn't made it onto my go to list of places I actively recommend yet. That said, I'm open to revisiting, ratings can always change with future visits.
