Coke float. This hit the spot and I definitely recommend!

The server, Carlitos, was attentive and friendly. I definitely recommend this place for their food, cleanliness and hospitality.

Kurisaki has grown to be my favorite for sushi restaurant in Southern California. Chef Kurisaki takes great care in the preparation and we tried his Omakase and each piece was carefully prepared and presented. Although he has trained at Matsuhisa his style is not similar. He presented sushi that is classic Japanese as if you are in Japan. The food kept coming out and we were very full afterwards and the price point was proper as well. His wife will seat you and be your server. He prepares and she serves. The food is delicious and top rate. Thank you Chef Kurisaki for creating a place for a delicious meal.

This is an incredible sushi place. The food is authentic, fresh, and a cut above other establishments. We tried Hokkaido Uni for the first time, and it's delicious! The service is friendly. The mood is clean and simple. Great for a date or small party when you want amazing food and don't want to feel rushed!

Excellent service. Small simple restaurant. Menu options limited. Mostly mainstream sushi items. Everything is fairly pricey for sushi but my wife thought tht execution was good for most dishes except the shrimp tempura. The battery didn't have a airy crisp. All in all they are good but not so good that I will say they are a must go. Parking available behind the restaurant.

One of my favorites in the South Bay. First time trying this sushi restaurant and had the omakase. High quality fish and presentation was very nice. The restaurant has a nice casual vibe and service was excellent.

Wow! Amazing 1. Staff My wife made reservations. As we walk in..."You won't be here more than an hour and a half?" Wtf? I beg your pardon!? Look, if I'm going to drop $200+ on dinner, I will decide how long I take. F you for stressing me out. So -1 star ( by the way, we left before the aforementioned time and the place was still empty) 2. Food Absolutely amazing! I lived in Yokohama and I've got to say that the sushi here is absolutely amazing! You pay a Premium but you get premium food! I can't say enough as how good it was! 3. Ambiance The sushi bar no longer allows folks at the bar. It's all table service The parking behind the restaurant is.... Weird. Not sure where I should have parked. The music is jazz. But did I mention the food? Dear heavens, mortgage your kids, go here ! The food is sublime. Amazing! We're it not for a snarky waitress it would be full stars and worth every penny! (And I speak Japanese, by the way, and still was put off by the staff!) This is my new go to sushi bar !

Our absolute favorite sushi restaurant in South Bay by far! It's not cheap... We only go on special occasions or on our date nights. We always get their sushi omakase. Every course is SUPERB and most if not all of their fish comes from Japan. Service is always excellent, each course is timed perfectly and the fish just melts in our mouth! There's parking in the back but space is limited. Street parking always works too~ The only negative is that we miss sitting at the bar... They got rid of the bar seating during Covid and never brought it back.. LAst time we visited, they said they weren't bringing it back..

Very nice and quite environment. Service was great and foods were outstanding. I ordered miso eggplant, goldeneye snapper, amberjack, baracuda and tamago. Definitely come back.

I have been promising a friend for some time that we'd celebrate his birthday by indulging in a high-end(ish) omakase dinner. We were amped up at the thought of fine dining!--then the lockdown hit. Years later (12/27/23 to be exact), I made good on my promise. Based on past reviews, location (and price), I settled on Kurisaki. That was the best decision I made in quite some time. We were treated to the most delicious, freshest, and silky-smooth sushi we have ever had. My Japanophile buddy attests to my claim--and he visits Japan twice a year for his bi-annual deep dive into the food culture, Grand Sumo, etc. The service was impeccable, with each arriving dish prefaced by brief words onto their origins. Wait-times? Virtually non-existent. So, I waffled a bit on whether to come clean re my actual experience with restaurant-grade sushi, but here goes: Prior to my visit to Kurisaki, my sushi experience was limited to party platters from Pavillions that my brother would bring to the annual New Year's day fete. I grew up on that kind of sushi, so in my defense, I had no idea what really good sushi actually tasted like. Kurisaki has raised my standards to the proper level. Thank you, Kurisaki. Looking forward to returning some day. -Steve

We came here for the first time and LOVED it! Very cute and personal inside, and the sushi was fantastic oh my gosh. We ordered the 10 piece sushi and hand roll dish and it came with miso soup that was hot and delicious, and a small salad. We liked the sushi so much we ordered more off the menu, and loved the eel. The service was also quick and our server was so sweet. We will definitely be regulars now!

This is hands down some of the freshest, highest-quality sushi I've had in the South Bay -- maybe even in all of LA! From start to finish, every dish was beautifully presented and unbelievably delicious. The sashimi platter was perfection -- thick, buttery cuts of salmon, tuna, scallops, octopus, and more. You can literally taste how fresh everything is. The Amaebi (sweet shrimp) was so delicate, and they even served the shrimp heads crispy, which was amazing! The appetizers were just as impressive -- * Crispy baby squid with a creamy dipping sauce * Refreshing cucumber salad * Perfectly blistered shishito peppers * Fresh mixed greens with a bright dressing * And the grilled yellowtail collar... Pop music was playing (think Anne-Marie's 2002), LED lighting, and large posters advertising specials and desserts. The vibe was very much what I anticipated (3/5), but the space was clean and well kept, which matters most (4/5 for cleanliness). We arrived around 7:30 PM; they close at 9 PM. What pleasantly surprised me was the food. Both the roll and poke bowl were very simple in creation, but simplicity was done well. Minimal ingredients meant the quality and execution had room to shine without needing to hide behind extras. My poke bowl with seaweed salad, greens, and brown rice was fresh and tasty. My boyfriend's Redondo roll, ango, spicy tuna, and cucumber--was especially well balanced; the mango was perfectly ripe, not mushy or sour. On that basis, the food earns a 4/5. Service wise, there were a few small mix ups: I was served a Kirin instead of the Kirin Light I ordered, our dishes were placed on the wrong sides of the table (swapped) and macaroons from a neighboring table were added to our check. None of these were major issues, but they did point to a lack of attentiveness. I'm feeling forgiving, so I didn't let it weigh too heavily on the rating. I'd be curious to check out their all day happy hour next time, details are available via the QR code (attached photo). I'd say this is a solid, though it hasn't made it onto my go to list of places I actively recommend yet. That said, I'm open to revisiting, ratings can always change with future visits.
