8 pc Nigiri sushi, Tamago came with salad. The miso soup was never served, but it is included on their online menu.

Tonight's dinner started with the lychee bliss and assorted tempura (not pictured). The cocktail was sweet, refreshing, and just lovely with the mini purple pansy flower. Then we had a couple of rolls and assorted nigiri. The fish was really fresh and apparently is flown in from Japan. Our server took the time to explain the menu and was really inviting. The beautiful Japanese artwork, fire place by the bar area, and sushi chef station made the place feel really upscale.

I have eaten here only 3 or 4 times. The most recent was a retirement lunch for a work friend. We had a group of 11 and the handled it really well. They not only had a space that big, but it also felt private. The staff was super attentive. The food is great. I ordered a rainbow roll. All the fish was super fresh. Even though we had a large group, we all got our food at around the same time. It was a great lunch for our work pal.

A quiet place to host a company lunch meeting with delicious food! The restaurant offered lunch specials, a regular seasonal menu, and also western food options. I ordered the seasonal special set and was very impressed with the food, the presentation, the pricing point $42! The set came on a fancy tray and a beautiful two-tier Japanese bento box. It included hot soup, fresh salad, crispy shrimp tempura, melt-in-your-mouth tuna sashimi, and perfectly seasoned salmon fillet. It was a big lunch set, and I was so full that I ended up giving up my dessert to a friend :)

Fabulous place to enjoy a Japanese set menu. It had been a few years since my last visit, and this time the experience seemed more enjoyable overall; however, there were a few notable flaws. First, the dining room temperature was far too warm, making it difficult to enjoy the meal comfortably. Moreover, there appeared to be some disagreement among the staff regarding the gratuity charges. It was unclear why the mandatory service charge had increased from 18% to 20%, especially considering that the service provided was, at best, mediocre. Needless to say, this left a lasting negative impression, despite the fact that I was not the one paying the bill. While the food was enjoyable, the overall experience has given me pause, and I would certainly hesitate before returning in the future.

Had the seasonal special menu here. Reservation made through yelp. Parking is plentiful. Everything about the restaurant is objectively nice. Beautiful restaurant with varied eating areas, elegant decor, and nice staff. The service was incredible, felt like they were really attentive. The food was also objectively well cooked. The meat was perfect wall to wall pink, well seasoned. The sushi and sashimi choices were fresh. The tempura was freshly fried and vegetables were perfectly cooked. Everything tasted how it should have. However, for the price I found myself not finding anything particularly special. Because of that, I probably wouldn't go back even though things are as close to perfect as you can get. Would be nice for a banquet type of occasion, but maybe not a date.

Mont Blanc dessert. Subtly sweet and chestnut flavor. Highly recommend!

Wow. This place is incredible. It's located inside the Miyako Hybrid Hotel. The service was incredible and they checked in with our table several times and shared their thoughts on certain menu items. We got the chu-toro, otoro, chicken teriyaki for the kids, ume shiso, uni, cucumber roll, and a couple of other dishes. Got the Mont Blanc dessert which was subtly sweet and so unique in flavor (chestnut). Everything was fresh and flavor was on point. They were great with the kiddos and even gave them the kids chopsticks. The price is on the higher end, but totally reasonable given the quality of everything. Highly recommend!

I was invited to a surprise 75th birthday party on a Saturday afternoon. Boy what a great venue to have a surprise party. I have been here several times so I knew The food was going to be excellent. ... and so it was delicious again. The service was over the top and the way this huge group of over 50 was perfectly laid out.

We had a wonderful birthday party here! It was so very nice to be able to choose which set menu course each person wanted and we were served each course all together! The Ise menu is quite large, so bring your appetite! There were elements of each type of set menu that were very unique and tasty! We enjoyed our semi private room!

Such a lovely restaurant inside the Miyako Hybrid Hotel. Chose the bento box for lunch. It came with a variety of different small dishes shin as sashimi, miso soup, vegetable tempura, rice, picked veggies. The freshest fish I have had in a long long time. The presentation of each piece of dish is so purposeful aesthetically and flavor. The service is excellent. Great lunch or dinner venue. Ample parking outside. Highly recommend this restaurant

We ate here yesterday. After having several bad experiences at some local sushi restaurants, my BFF mentioned Ise-Shima to me, located inside the MIYAKO HYBRID HOTEL, on Western Ave, in GARDENA. We ate some of the best Sushi I've ever had, it was heavenly. Spider roll, Spicy Tuna roll, Chu Toro Nigiri, 3 kinds of Chefs App, and the Rainbow Rolls were so delicious, the contrast of this location compared to other sushi restaurants were night and day.The pictures says it all. The Shushi Chefs were true professionals. I highly recommend Ise-Shima for anyone who wants a fresh high high-quality fish.

Located inside of the Miyako Hybrid Hotel, it's a decent restaurant. Their normal dinner menu is a bit lackluster for the price but I usually visit during their happy hours if I'm staying at the hotel as well. Prices are good during happy hour and the ambiance is relatively upscale. Our server was also very attentive, constantly checking in to make sure we didn't need anything else.

We came here for a birthday dinner and they put us in a closed off section of the restaurant. It's really nice inside, feels upscale. It would be great for a business meal or a date. It's located within a hotel so it's not obvious from the outside, parking is easy out front. We ordered the yellowtail carpaccio, and a couple of their signature rolls - the flaming tuna and the salmon tide roll. The presentation of everything was really nice, lots of (edible!) flowers decorating each plate. The yellowtail carpaccio was stunning, I've never seen one look like this one. I thought it was good, nice and citrusy, and the quality of the fish tasted good. We were less enthused about the rolls, sadly. Each roll came with five pieces which we thought was pretty odd and made it harder to share. Both rolls had inconsistently sized pieces and most were too wide, making it somewhat awkward to stuff each one in your mouth. They should definitely make the pieces smaller and give you more. If you're on a date, I wouldn't advise getting a roll here haha. The flaming tuna was by far significantly better than the salmon tide, it tasted fresher and just overall better. The salmon tide was a little too creamy for my liking. My family who ordered off the sushi/sashimi menu seemed to love what they got, though! The service was professional and kind but incredibly slow. We had to continue asking our waiter for things and after a few times of asking without receiving what we needed, we had to ask other wait staff. He had a very professional and calm demeanor, but he wasn't very on top of things. Overall decent sushi spot, a little overpriced for what it is though. And I would stick with ordering off their sushi/sashimi menu instead of ordering rolls.

I had such a great experience here that I already know I'll be back!…read more I ordered the chicken katsu curry plate, gangjung, a katsu sando, egg sando, and the strawberry sando, and every single item was delicious. The chicken katsu was the standout~ it was perfectly light and crispy on the outside while staying incredibly juicy on the inside. It had amazing flavor even on its own, but paired with the katsu sauce, it was absolutely next level. The rich curry sauce was also fantastic and went perfectly with the rice, making every bite satisfying. The gangjung was another winner, with a great crispy exterior coated in a sweet, garlicky sauce that kept me coming back for more. I took the katsu sando and egg sando home for later, and I had to finish with the strawberry sando, which was perfectly creamy with fresh, sweet strawberries. It was the ideal way to end the meal. Beyond the food, what really impressed me was the incredible value. The prices were very fair, the portions were generous, and the service was exceptionally warm and friendly. Everything came out quickly and piping hot, which made the experience even better. The also had catchy music playing in the background and it was peaceful in there during lunch time. Whether you're looking for a quick solo meal or a spot to bring friends, this place checks every box. I loved my visit and can't wait to come back. The Shrimp Tempura Plate comes with a variety of tempura-battered items including four shrimp, kabocha (squash), fish, seaweed, and a shishito pepper. On the side, you get a bowl of rice, tempura-battered soft-boiled egg, and dipping sauce that comes with a generous scoop of grated daikon radish. Everything is spot on. The tempura batter is perfectly coated on each item and crispy. I'm usually not a fan of kabocha since it tends to come out mushy. However, here, it's crunchy and delicious. If I had to choose my favorite parts of the meal, they would be the tempura-battered soft-boiled egg and seaweed. If you break the yolk over the rice, it's very satisfying to eat. And the seaweed is crispy like a potato chip. Maybe I haven't been to enough tempura shops, but I think these two items are particularly special. If tempura is not your thing, they do serve other stuff. The sashimi here is nothing to scoff at. I had some sashimi here including the bluefin tuna, salmon, and fatty tuna. The quality of the sashimi is up there with some of the better sushi restaurants in the South Bay. If it's not obvious from my glowing review, I really like this place. Maybe a little addicted. One last thing: I tend to avoid ordering pasta to go because if the kitchen isn't careful, ithe pasta keeps cooking and soaking up moisture during the commute. That's not a problem here. The scallop carpaccio was beautifully presented with thinly sliced radishes, flying fish roe, kaiware radish sprouts and drizzled with citrus yuzu sauce. The dish was delightfully fresh and light. The maitake karaage had steamy hot Japanese mushrooms inside a satisfyingly crispy exterior. The chicken cracklin's were like chicken skin chips on steroids. They were super flavorful and crunchy. Honestly, though, I think you could look away from the menu, stick out your finger, and order whatever it lands on-blind-box that thing! Whatever you end up with, I'm pretty sure you'd be happy. The ambiance was conducive to conversation, and the service was stellar. This will definitely be on repeat.

So people needed to squeeze by and then one guy asked if he could sit for a moment at my table. I said okay. But then I think he planned to stay at my table until finally my waiter moved him! There was a seat at one their tables the whole time. Then their waitress wedge herself with her back toward me in between the tables and I had to stop eating. Very disruptive and rude. Taking a while for the six people to order so I nudged her and I asked her to move and she seemed upset that I did that but didn't say anything no apology so it was very uncomfortable and I was rushing through my food so I burnt my tongue on the hot soup again even though I knew it was hot because I just wanted to get out of there. And then when I was done, I had to wait a while for the check and then they couldn't process the Apple Pay at the table so then I had to go to the front and wait for somebody to attend to me there overall this experience was not fun and stressful and I had got there right when they opened. I sure wish I had selected a different seat!! I wouldn't get the Nabeyaki soup again. It was really big and had a lot of end pieces of tough napa cabbage. There were two pieced of shitake mushroom and the standard thin fish cake slice. There was and egg in the soup and a three small chicken pieces. On the side were three small pieces of green bean and two tempura shrimp.
