We ordered takeout here on Saturday and it was a great experience. We have a go-to Thai place we love in Torrance but it's a bit far. When I read about this place and how good it is, I was excited to try it out since it's much closer to us. We loved all the dishes we ordered. We got the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Pad Kee Mao, the fried rice, and the fried veggie rolls. Everything tasted super fresh and delicious. I especially loved the fried veggie rolls which I had ordered for my daughters and ended up eating most of myself. Jeeb Thai Eatery is a true under the radar spot. Without checking the address on Yelp, I probably would've missed it completely. This spot is fairly new and it still has the old signage from the previous restaurant, "Siam I Am," which makes it easy to miss at first glance. I remember dining at Siam I Am years ago and recalling how small the space was. Jeeb Thai Eatery has a different owner now but the footprint still feels the same. I could tell that the new owners made some thoughtful updates to give their restaurant a more elevated feel. One charming touch was having fresh orchids on each of the tables. Matching the sophisticated look of the restaurant is their menu. I could really tell they were going for a more fine dining feel with dishes. A lot of the dishes were in $20 and up range. I chose to get their Jeeb Sao Thai - Pad Thai ($23) and their Yua Yua Yua - Fried Veggie Rolls ($17). Interestingly, these are similar dishes I got when I went to Siam I Am many years ago. The Fried Veggie Rolls caught my attention from the menu description. It said these were "crispy vegetable rolls with glass noodles, cabbage, carrot and taro." I was especially curious about the taro, but I didn't really pick up any hint of that in the actual flavor. Despite the lack of taro, I did appreciate how hot and crisp these were served. Pad Thai is my go-to order when going to Thai restaurants and Jeeb Thai Eatery's version was solid. It came with tender organic chicken and a balanced mix of egg, tofu, bean sprouts and peanuts. Overall I had a pleasant experience dining at Jeeb Thai Eatery. It is a good neighborhood option with friendly service and slightly elevated presentation. I will note that all the prices here are the same whether lunch or dinner. I saw on instagram they offered lunch specials but when I asked the owner, she mentioned that was no longer a thing (a bit strange since the instagram post was less than a year ago). The food here is good and enjoyable but definitely more straightforward than particularly memorable. read more

The restaurant feels like a hole in the wall (with half dozen tables inside) but located off PCH in Redondo Beach with good service You can taste the quality of the food, the Pad Thai with Chicken was the perfect amount of chewy and the Tom Kha Gai soup had very well balanced flavors. Very rarely do i give five stars to a place because most places can never do things right but i wish this owner all the success in the world! You could really taste the authenticity in the food feels like eating right out of a homemmade thai kitchen with quality ingredients and i love how the owner herself is the chef and even comes greets you and despite being the only one cooking, food came out so fast, perfectly heated, SO flavorful!! Never had better thai food in all of south bay or LA county for that matter. it is a small little spot in redondo so i could see more people leaning toward takeout but its nice to dine in to eat it fresh. I think she could optimize her place ambiance to make it into a dine in or if she got a larger location because honestly the quality of the food is so good she deserves to not only have takeout but a full on restaurant dine in experience! read more

Apparently this restaurant was known as Siam I Am. I hadn't dined here for a while and decided to stop in for a quick dinner. When we arrived it was apparent the "chef@ was also the hostess. As a result we waited quite a while to be greeted and seated. I should note that the chef did arrive about thirty minutes later. I ordered the Waan Om Khom Kluean yellow chicken curry and my guest had the deeb Sao Thai Pad Thai with shrimp. I also ordered a Thai ice tea and the server forgot to bring it. I had to remind her after my meal was almost finished. To me the chicken curry had a terrible unappetizing presentation. It looked like shredded chicken and big lumps of potatoes. In fast that's what it was. While the taste was pretty good, the over abundance of potatoes felt like a filler for less chicken. It was a decent dish but far from one of my favorites. The Pad Thai looked a lot better. My guest said it was good, not great, and that he'd order it again. Now to the price. Nearly $70 including the two dishes, one Thai ice tea and rice. This was not fine dining. I realize they have bills to pay but it was much more than I've paid at other Thai restaurants for similar meals. All parking is on the street. One need a bit of courage to park on PCH as passing cars make it scary to open the driver's door. Cars were flying by in the 40's and 50's and it's a very unsafe parking location. read more

Organic farm to table Thai! The freshest I've ever had. We were looking for a new RB Thai restaurant after our old favorite changed chefs and I am so happy to have found THE place. JEEB (which means flirt) took over for "Siam I am" and excels at making incredibly tasteful and unique Thai dishes like their whole roasted eggplant and morning glory (two must try dishes). Eating there gives me the vibe that every item comes locally sourced as they offer a range of organic chicken dishes (love their satay) and tons of vegan and veggie dishes- the menu is extensive and unique. Hoping you give them a try. I also hope they put up a sign soon because it does still say "Siam I am" out front. read more

I am so sad that Siam I am is no more! They had great Thai food and were the only still reasonably priced authentic Thai place still around. I would drive all the way from Pedro to get there food. The food under new ownership looks fancy and so is the price! Wowza! I'm sure it's delicious but I will not drive 35 mins to spend that kinda $$. read more

Unbelievable AUTHENTIC little thai restaurant on PCH. Chef must is from Thailand and you can tell. The flavors are much different than our regular thai places. Server was super helpful and very nice. Place is quaint. (It's still brand new and the sign still says Siam outside) Worth the $$$. Curry noodle is a must. read more

Finally authentic Thai food in the south bay! Don't be fooled by the sign from the previous place Siam I am, the new owner Mook is bringing her magic to us with her incredible JEEB restaurant. When I ate here it took me back to Thailand, one of my fave countries for their yummy food. Mook is so lovely and you can tell she is passionate about her craft. I've ordered delivery a few times and everyone was pleased with their dishes, and I am pleased knowing my kids are getting high quality home cooked food even if I am not the one cooking it. For those that have complained about prices, high quality organic food will always be worth it when you are investing in your health. Come here if you want healthy food with unbeatable flavors! Great Thai food! Got Kao Soi (excellent), Roti, string beans with minced pork, and eggplant dish. Everything was great tasting and flavorful! It is a smaller venue - so it has that hole in the wall feel to it. With that, staffing also fits the venue and demand and they were efficient with the staff they have. They let us know they'll be even more efficient next time since they'll have more staff. That said, we look forward to coming back to try more - including desserts! read more

This place truly earns all the stars. If you're looking for fresh, clean, crisp and flavorful dishes. Go to Jeeb Thai Eatery. It was such a welcoming and surprising experience. The owner, who I assumed also serves as the host and chef, greeted me warmly. I ordered the squid -- something I don't often notice on Thai menus -- it was perfectly prepared: soft, tender, and easy to chew. I ordered the papaya salad which is a must. Along with fried spring rolls, mango sticky rice, Thai iced tea, and a side of black rice was excellent. Portions were thoughtful and balanced. The only small note is that the name displayed on the front of the building was previously called something else, which might leave you briefly wondering if you're in the right spot. Jeeb is in the same location as a previous Thai restaurant and the food is fabulous! We split three dishes and each one was great. Papaya Salad, soft shell crab khao soi and seafood kaprao. The food is more authentic than many Thai restaurants and is very high quality. Wonderful authentic northern Thai food that you can't find anywhere else in South Bay. The Khao Soi is amazing, seafood was super fresh!

Everything was super fresh, flavorful, and looked amazing. We got the Mixed Summer Green Rolls and they were so colorful and tasted incredible. Our group also loved the Drunk in Love and Yellow Curry. The Drunk in Love could've used a bit more sauce, but the flavors and freshness were on point. Portions are definitely solid! They should really think about getting a liquor license--a glass of wine or beer would go perfectly with the food. As mentioned by others, prices are on the higher side so as not to be surprised. A friend and I went to Jeeb not knowing it had changed owners. We were pleasantly surprised that Jeeb was even better than Siam I Am. the lovely ladies that run it presented us with a generous portion of wonderful drunken noodles. Thought we were going to Siam I Am. Turns out this is a new owner and a new approach. We reviewed the menu which we found a bit confusing and the prices quite a bit higher (we have not been out for awhile!!!), but ordered a couple of dishes anyway. We were so glad we did. I don't know if we were just in the mood for Thai, or if they were really very impressive and fantastic! Everything was very fresh, and organic (if that makes a difference to you). The presentation was just beautiful and appetizing. Lots of different herbs and flowers (?). And the tastes were heavenly. We might have hesitated to return because it is a bit costly for our style, but we so enjoyed the food (and delightful hostess), that we will definitely return to explore that confusing menu some more!!! Hint: Menu pages are color coded!! Green pages mean vegetarian and red pages mean meat or other dishes. Great place for vegetarians too. There are soooo many choices!!
