I think it was a good and fun place to try! They have no restrooms. I couldn't wash my hands afterwards so this was a downside for me personally. It's definitely more of a take out spot in my opinion. We dined in. We ordered a few dishes. They were good, but not the best or my fave Thai dishes I personally have had. Wow! I loved my meal at Kin-D Thai Kitchen. It's mainly a take out place but there are 4 small tables in case you want to eat in. First off, the person who was taking orders was so nice and accommodating. We felt very welcome there. We ordered the Green Curry with soft tofu and Pad See Ew with veggies. They offered us a couple of spicy sauces on the side in case we wanted more heat. Both dishes were delicious. So fresh! Also fast, we got our food quickly. I noticed they had a lunch special that I saw some other people get that looked good. The prices were reasonable. I would definitely go back when in the area. Highly recommended! read more

Very solid no frills Thai spot, it's definitely right for the order in rotation. Good portion size and generally tasty. Kin-D can get to a 5 with better meats and prep on meats, the achilles heel of any Thai restaurant. Order and thoughts: Panang Curry with Pork: Definitely the best item we ordered. Pork was cooked right, great flavor on the gravy. And you get a complementary rice that's a nice touch you don't often see. I'd give a 5 on this item, but the rest brought us down. Angry Fried Rice with Shrimp: Also very solid overall. Great flavor and not that spicy, maybe a 3 out of 5 spicy on the Gringo scale and 1 out of 5 on Thai scale. Only 5 small shrimps or so for the premium price though, so I'd opt for a different protein next time. Gai-kua Noodles with Chicken: Just fine. Low flavor profile and chicken way over cooked. Would probably make me avoid chicken and shrimp from here entirely. read more

Ate in and really enjoyed the pad see ew lunch. We also ordered the boat noodle soup and chicken basil lunch. Pad see ew noodles were super tasty, noodles were soft and the wonton and salad that comes with the lunch special made it all very enjoyable. Boat noodle soup was alright, something is missing but I can't put finger on it. Maybe some spicyness? Still enjoyable and hit the spot on a cold day. Ground chicken with basil and sliced green beans was pretty good too. Again I love the lunch special because it comes with other items. It was a bit too much fish sauce but the veggies tasted fresh and crunchy. The only thing I would say could make it more enjoyable is the meat they use is very tough and thick. I can't wait to come back and try their lunch specials again and hopefully I just got a batch of tougher meat than usual. Service was super pleasant and attentive. This place is near my home and always has a lot of traffic, so I thought I'd give it a try. I read a review that said the Thai fried rice was really good so I decided to try it with chicken and its sooo good!! Next time I'll try it with another protein to see what my fav will be. I also got the crispy fried wings, but I was not a fan personally. I will not get them again. The restaurant itself is pretty small, although it does have some tables for sit downs, I think it's primarily for takeout. It's in a small shopping center with the UPS store, a nail salon, a foot massage place, and Carl's Jr. Customer service is friendly! Decently priced, although Everything is expensive these days. Tried Kin-D Thai Kitchen for the first time and loved it! I ordered the pad see ew with chicken and a Thai tea--both were absolutely delicious. My friend ordered several different dishes and everything we tried was really good. I'll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu. The restaurant looks pretty new and fresh, but they told us it's been open for almost 2 years. It's a small shop with only a few tables, but the space is clean and welcoming. Probably 4.5 but I rounded up. Upon tiring of the nearby Thai place that was inconsistent with uninspired service and almost impossible to order takeout via the telephone (always busy), I decided to try the new-ish spot nearby - Kin-D Thai Kitchen. It's pretty good! To be fair, I like my Asian cuisines pretty straightforward, void of mystery meats, fish heads and guts. So, I order pretty basic stuff. Fortunately, Kin-D serves up easily recognizable Thai food. Here's what I ordered recently: FRESH ROLL $12 Shrimp and fresh vegetable wrapped with rice paper, served with a side of peanut sauce (6 pcs). EGGPLANT DELIGHT $15 Sautéed eggplants with chili, basil, bell peppers, carrots and garlic. YELLOW CURRY $16 Potatoes, carrots, bell peppers, onions, simmered in creamy coconut milk and yellow curry sauce. PAD THAI $15 Bangkok street style pan-fried noodles with eggs, green onions, bean sprouts, and crushed peanuts. PAD SEE EW $15 Stir-fried flat rice noodles with egg and Chinese broccoli. PINEAPPLE FRIED RICE $15 Stir-fried white rice with egg, raisins, cashew nuts, pineapples, green onion, and yellow curry powder. Most of the dishes I chose chicken as the protein except shrimp with the pineapple rice - add $2.) I liked everything - not overly greasy with a touch of heat and flavorful without unidentifiable parts floating around. A real plus is the nice woman working the phone and counter - she's awesome - easy to understand over the phone, friendly and helpful while picking up to-go orders. Stopped in with my wife to grab lunch. I had the red curry lunch special, and my wife had the pad kee mo (spicy drunken noodles) lunch special. Both were delicious. We also got Thai iced teas, and those were quite delicious too. The staff was very friendly, and the food came out very quickly. The place itself is a little hole-in-the-wall with only four tables and no frills, which very much reminds me of the little mom-and-pop restaurants in Thailand. We'll definitely be back. read more

I found this place on Yelp, and based on the reviews, I was anxious to try. There are only a few tables/seats on the inside, as I think they cater more to take out. The young lady at the counter was very pleasant and offered suggestions, as this was my first time. I ordered Crispy Pork with spicy basil, Tom Khar soup with chicken, and pad Thai with chicken. As I waited to my food to be prepared, there was so much traffic in and out, so it made me even more excited to get home and dive in! Lol. I live roughly 10 mins from the restaurant, so by the time I got home, the pork was no longer crispy, but the flavors were so delicious, I could overlook the lack of crispiness from the moisture of the packaging. I would love to have it right after preparation. This dish was definitely the highlight and best out of everything I ordered. I wasn't very impressed by the pad Thai and Tom Khar soup. Those are my two favorite Thai items, and I have had them SEVERAL times at several different restaurants, so basically I know exactly what I do and don't like with these dishes. The service here was friendly, and the food was good. The only disconnect (when comparing Kin-D to the former Thai restaurant which resided here) is that although this is more clean/modern, the prices went up and portions went down (less and smaller) comparatively. That being said, it's also the post-Y2KXX era of inflation, so things can't remain the same bargains as they used to for retailers and service providers to survive in the modern economy. I had the Pad See Ew, which is basically like a Thai version of Chinese Chow Fun, with the broad rice noodles pan/wok fried with sweet soy sauce and broccoli along with a choice of protein. My advice is "noodles are cheap with low cost of goods, so maybe increase the portion size to survive as a business because folks are accustomed to bigger portions from Asian restaurants and do family style dining often. It won't hurt the profit margins dramatically to add noodles, but the reputation and incremental business might benefit as a long term strategy, especially for repeat business and customer loyalty. So, I'd recommend this place for people to try, especially local residents in the neighborhood to support small business. Parking is easy in the shared lot. read more

We wanted to try their crispy pork, so we ordered it with spicy basil and Chinese broccoli. Their pork was crispy and juicy. It had nice flavor and good amount of heat with the basil. It had a great tasting Thai basil sauce. The crispy pork with the broccoli was also really good. It also had great flavor, veggies were slightly crunchy without being overdone. It's a very cute little mom and pop restaurant with room for a few chairs and tables in a tiny strip mall. It's walking distance from where we took our kids to swim, and very easy to get to. I'm surprised that I haven't written a review yet because I've been coming here since the space got rebooted with the new Kin-D Thai Kitchen team! I love it! We used to go often to two different nearby Thai restaurants, and although those are good, Kin-D is the one that crave the most because it most reminds me of my extensive time in Thailand! I will most often get the classic Thai Beef & Basil. It's excellent! I will also often get the Prik King or any of their curries, and my wife often gets Pad Thai or Pad See Ew. All of them are excellent lunch combos. Service is fast and friendly. The space is clean but tight for dine in so we usually take out. read more

I ordered via Door Dash and ordered a bunch of stuff because I was excited to see all the good reviews and I'm always trying a new Thai place every time. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to my expectations. I ordered: * isaan sausage -- perfectly cooked but tasted more meaty than the traditional sour taste. Complements of fresh ginger was whatever, would have appreciated a sauce instead. * shrimp tom yum soup -- idk, just didn't hit. It was more creamy (which ehh...) and so salty but I really appreciated the big slices of mushrooms. * pad thai -- one of the MOST SWEETEST pad thai's I've ever tasted. All I could taste was sugar. There was no lime wedge included. I tried doctoring it up with spices and lime juice but the sweetness kept punching me in the face. Personally, I did not like this dish. Wow, went to Kin-D hoping for a great meal, and that's what we got! We ordered the panang curry ($16), pad see ew ($15), angry fried rice ($15), and eggplant delight ($15). The curry and eggplant dishes come with a side of rice, and for the protein option, you can choose between soft or fried. The fried rice and eggplant had a good spicy kick. All of the dishes were solid, so I really can't pick a favorite. I just know that I would order the same dishes again, but I want to try everything on the menu! The kitchen staff appeared to be Thai, so we went in with high expectations and they were definitely met. Reasonable prices, good sized portions, mom and pop vibes, and free parking in the lot directly in front of the restaurant. Thai food is one of my favorite cuisines, so I had high hopes. Unfortunately, this meal really missed the mark. We ordered the Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and the crispy pork with broccoli. The Pad Thai was overwhelmingly sweet--cloying, really--and lacked the balance of flavors I expect. The Pad See Ew had the same problem: way too sweet, and it didn't have that smoky, stir-fried depth that gives the dish character. The noodles were soft, and the dish lacked texture. Also, no carrots, which I usually see in it. The broccoli in the crispy pork dish had a weird bitter taste, which was off-putting. But the crispy pork itself was the best part of the meal--crunchy like chicharrón, with a tasty sauce and solid white rice on the side. The food here is always consistently delicious - I am moved to write this review by my most recent meal - Eggplant Delight with beef (quality lean perfectly cooked beef, tender but not falling apart eggplant, carrots with the perfect bite and with pretty cut edges), and their delicious Tom Kha chicken soup. Perfect rice. Fresh salad - no weird slimy leaves. Crispy yummy cream cheese wontons. Also of note: their Pad Thai, Prik Khing (green beans dish) Crispy Pork Spicy Basil, and Pad See Ew. Their food is fresh, made-to-order but quick, and the service is very friendly and nice. The orders are accurate and generous. The chicken is tender and flavorful breast meat - no yukky fat glops. All their meats are good and they have lovely soft and fried tofu. I am so thankful to have an affordable neighborhood Thai place with great food. It is clean and convenient - in a strip mall with a UPS Place next door. When mango sticky rice is available - YES please!
