We found it on yelp so it was our first time here. Small restaurant but really good food. Everything was so hot you had to wait for it to cool down. Very fresh and tasty. Service was great as well. I recommend trying this place for a flavorful bite to eat.

Exceptional and great tasting food does not have to come in variety. In fact, the limited the options are the better the serving and quality of the dish. I don't know why after all these 5 years working nearby that I didn't stumbled into this little Thai Establishment. Mostly serving take outs, they do have a few tables to cater to the dine-in. Entrance is just a single side door, with the reception area slightly to the left upon entry. The kitchen is also behind the way next to the reception area as well as the cashier. It is also the area where online orders and DoorDashers often come to pick up their orders. Once in the main hall, 4 tables seating up to 4 with a long bench on one side. Restroom is towards the end of the hallway. The place is small so plan ahead. A few guest are great and okay, but if you're bringing your whole family AND friends, you might need a picnic bench outside in the parking lot. That's how good the food was. Being Cambodian born in Thailand, the whole dang Southeast Asia is my territory so the first meal I ordered here was: Som Tam w/ Picked Crab the Laotian style & Sticky Rice and Chicken Skewers. The Som Tum was just awesome and magnificent with the sticky rice and chicken skewers. The fresh papaya smashed together with the crunch of the red cabbage makes the flavor of the salad very savory, salty and Spicy!! I asked for medium spice to taste the heat and it was just right. Next time, I'll be trying the noodles and other dishes too. Highly recommending to everyone.

The Baseline: For Thai food it must have traditional ingredients (basil, chilis, curry, etc), be prepared well, and have the right adjustments to spiciness. Food: I didn't hold back on the spice for the Soybeans or the Garlic noodles I ordered and I wish I went mild over medium. The food was still tasty but I let my perceived tolerance get ahead of me (shame on me). Still love coming to BKK Street Thai for my Thai food fix. Service: Great service for my take out order. No complaints. Ambiance: Came in to pick up for take out but everything was clean in the dining area.

    Pineapple fried rice "mild"

I wasn't feeling well one night and in the mood for some Thai so placed an order with BKK over the phone. I decided upon the pineapple fried rice and they asked how spicy I wanted. I believe I said mild or 2/10. Order was ready when I arrived. A bit pricey for Thai but there was 3 portions in the to-go box so you get a lot for your money. I was surprised to see so much curry powder on top of the dish. It wound up being super spicy, more like a 6/10 based on my taste buds. The rice, veggies, and pineapple were all fresh and tasty, so the only disappointing part was that they overshot the spice level by a lot.

cute little store front! I am not local to the area so we just found this place on Yelp and decided to try it and we don't regret it! The food was very solid and reasonably priced! I got the chicken satay skewers and it was a good portion with a good amount of seasoned rice and my party enjoyed their food as well! If you want a quick Thai eat / have a craving, consider this place and check it out!

We opened the take out and they put a ton of chili powder on top in the middle and opening the takeout box propelled the chili pepper into my wife's eyes.. wear safety goggles for take out.

Placed an order for takeout. We got their ka prow with chicken and pad kee mow. We ordered both on their spicy side. Usually when we've ordered ka prows at other Thai restaurants, it comes grounded but We were disappointed how it was full chicken slices. Which was fine but a bit on the drier side. Flavor was decent and spices were okay. We wished that by ordering spicy they would mix in the spices for us instead of just having a spoonful on top that we had to mix it in ourselves.

Amazing and quick Thai food experience! Glad we stopped in here and luckily it was before they closed for their hour break. The place is small but clean and homey. My partner and I were the only ones being served but the woman who helped us was incredibly kind and attentive. She gave great recommendations! The food came out fast and hot and was so delicious. Very flavorful. I recommend if you want to switch up from the norm of the other fast casual chain restaurants surrounding BKK. (Filipino friends, the BKK sausage reminds me of Longanisa haha)

    Inside of Restaurant- kinda small

My coworker and I ordered to go from here for lunch and I got the Thai sausage and fried chicken with ginger rice. The food was great, I've never had something like the ginger rice before but it was so flavorful and the ginger was not over powering at all. It balance with the chicken, sweet and sour sauce perfectly. As for the service, it's was ok - the food was ready when we got there though we did notice we were missing 1 of our items so we had to remind the waitress. Other than that it was quick and easy to pick up! The inside is very nice but FYI there not much seating and is a little small. I kinda liked it though cause it did gives off street food stall vibes! There is extra seating outside but it definitely isn't as nice as the inside.

The chicken simple. The service was fast. For them almost closing they still were friendly.

So yummy! Service is served just as sweet by Nicki. Will definitely come back and recommend to others. Parking is free and ample. All this was for $20. A nice place to relax and was able to study with soft lighting and music.

    Pad Thai

The food here is pretty good for Thai food and the price point is awesome ($14 for Pad Thai). I will say it's super no frills and the food is on the sweeter side. The pad Thai is pretty sweet and saucey. If you prefer dry pad Thai this is not going to be a favorite of yours. That being said I typically don't like the more ketchup tasting pad Thai but this one was still quite tasty. It's also unique in my opinion because it comes with chunks of red onions and I feel like that's not typical at the other Thai places I have been. I also got the panang curry. This was tasty but thin and had huge chunks of just chicken and red pepper. I typically like when there are other things in my curry, it's a bit thicker, and the contents are smaller. Staff is super friendly and the food comes out fresh and hot. Pretty decent option.

Also, they accept card! Not cash only. Nice. Anyway let's talk about the food. I love me some Thai hainan chicken so I had some expectations. Let's gooo. White meat hainan with garlic rice - 8/10 This was really good for the price. I think the meal cost $14 and it came with a cup of broth and dipping sauce. Chicken was cooked without being too dry. Hainan chicken lacked in flavor but the condiments made up for it. I mixed ginger and all the chili in the sauce and enjoyed it. Garlic rice was really good without any raw bits of garlic. Broth was a bit MSG heavy but whatever I still killed it lol Zaab crispy chicken with garlic noodle - 7/10 Zaab crispy chicken was perfectly seasoned, and the sauce didn't make the chicken skin soggy which was a huge plus. The chicken stayed crunchy until the end of the meal. The garlic noodles, though, were a letdown. They were really greasy and lacked flavor. I had to use a lot of the condiments just to give it some taste. Next time, I'd order the Zaab chicken with garlic rice instead. Fried shrimp - 8/10 This was really good. Easy to finish in once sitting. It was just lightly seasoned shrimp wrapped in a fried wonton wrapper. It came with a side of sweet and sour sauce that I barely used. It didn't even need it tbh. Overall, this place was worth a try especially for an affordable hearty meal. Service was quick and menu had lots of options. If you're in the area and want some quick Thai food, check this place out!

They've got 20 different items for $15.95 to choose from and each dish comes with their house salad with sesame dressing. This lunch special is served until 2pm daily. I was impressed with the variety that the Street Food Lunch menu offered. I love how they had some classic favorites as well as unique dishes that aren't commonly found. They had House Noodle Soup, Ba Mee Hung, BBQ Roasted Duck, Mint Leaves with Ground Chicken, Cashew Nut Chicken, Kao Pao Crispy Pork Belly, Chinese Broccoli with Crispy Pork Belly, Pad Thai Noodles with Shrimp and Chicken, Ba Raan Noodle Soup, Kao Soi Chicken, Mixed Vegetable, Garlic Pepper Pork, Spicy Eggplant Tofu, Spicy Fried Rice Chicken, Tom Yum Kai Noodle Soup, Pad Kee Mow Chicken, Pad See You Noodle with Beef and Chinese Broccoli, Kang Karee Chicken, Kang Pad Beef and Green Curry Shrimp. Certain dishes you could substitute protein for an extra $1 or add egg for $2. I was actually pleasantly surprised that several of the dishes already included egg. It was hard to choose from the good variety of items but my friend and I chose to get their Chinese Broccoli with Crispy Pork Belly and their Kao Soi Chicken. The Kao Soi Chicken was beautifully plated. It came with a tall stand of fried egg noodles on top of coconut curry broth with chicken, egg noodle, onions and pickled package. The Chinese Broccoli with Crispy Pork Belly came with lots of pork belly with stir fried Chinese Broccoli and sides of white rice and fried egg. Both dishes were delicious! I loved the creamy, rich coconut curry curry broth from the Kao Soi Noodle. There was lots of tender chicken in the soup and it paired well with the egg noodles I also tried my friend's dish and appreciated the crisp pork belly and flavorful Chinese Broccoli. The Thai flavors were on point! I definitely want to come back and try more of their Thai Street Food. I enjoyed lunch here very much. Not only were the entrees flavorful, they were also large in size. I even had enough for dinner. I am excited to try their other dishes like the Tom Yum Kai Noodle Soup and the Kang Karee Chicken.
