The food was soooo tasty! The beef in the limo saltado was tender and flavorful, the fries in it were cooked perfectly. The aji de gallina was super creamy. And omg the ceviche!! Woah! Suuuuper good. Loved their hella spicy green salsa on the ceviche and on the lomo saltado. They also serve you a complimentary small bowl of chicken soup that was very hearty and yummy. We also had a side of plantains that were crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. I loved everything we ordered! The servers were very friendly and attentive. Checked if we needed anything often. Great place
I had a $45 Uber credit from doing a bit of overtime at work, so I figured I might as well bring home some takeout. We got the chicken with fries, chaufa fried rice, soup, and the green sauce. The chicken with fries was a really good value for the amount of food you get. The portion was generous, and it felt like you were getting a lot for the price. The chicken had nice flavor, and the fries were a hit with the kids, which is always a win. The green sauce was good with everything, but at least for me, it worked perfectly with the chaufa fried rice. It added that tangy and spicy contrast to the rice and chicken, which made the chaufa even better. The chaufa was my favorite. It was weirdly addicting! The portion is big enough for 2-3 people, but it is the kind of thing where you keep going back for more. Honestly, the chaufa by itself could be a full dinner. Pickup was easy, and the food was ready without any problems. Overall, a good takeout dinner and I would definitely order again. If I end up doing more overtime at work, El Pollo Inka will be first on my list for a comforting day-ending treat.
Does time visit from SD and were craving Peruvian food. It was an awesome visit! Food was delicious ambiance was great and the customer service was excellent! We will be back!!!
For years, El Pollo Inka has been a hit. And this location is no exception. Delicious entrees that are consistent with the other locations. I can't get enough of the Lomo Saltado! I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. Meals come with a very tasty soup. And don't forget about the Inka cola and green sauce to complete your meal. Friendly and quick staff. Ample seating for small or large parties. Clean restrooms. And plenty of parking.
EL POLLO INKA - El Segundo Highly recommended! From the moment you walk in, the friendly service and lively Peruvian music set the perfect vibe. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and conveniently located near the corner of Sepulveda and PCH in El Segundo. The complimentary soup, filled with vegetables and tiny pasta, is a tasty way to start the meal. The Pollo a la Brasa ( 1/2 Chicken) was cooked to perfection--juicy, flavorful, and served with a (mid) side salad. Don't miss the delicious green ají sauce, which has a little kick and perhaps a hint of mayonnaise. Your choice of garlic rice, French fries, or beans comes with the meal. My recommendation: order the garlic rice and generously top it with the green sauce. Yum! The Papa Rellena was another standout--crispy on the outside and packed with seasoned beef and Peruvian olives on the inside. It comes with a cilantro-marinated red onion salad and an extra serving of that addictive green sauce on the side. For dessert, we shared five delicious homemade mini alfajores--the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. We'll definitely be back!
It was my first time here. We'd gone never door for a massage and when we were done we were hungry so we thought we'd check it out . When we entered were immediately greeted by the staff. A young lady seated us wherever we chose to sit and took our drink order. She was very friendly and patiently answered all of our questions about the menu. The food was very good (not great) my rice was cold, which was weird because everything else on the plate was very hot. The house salad was very large and was only iceberg lettuce. I ordered a seafood plate, it was seasoned well and if I were to ever go back I'd probably try something different . The menu was extensive, so I'd love to try something different. I want to give them a 4 but due to the quick, patient and friendly service from our server I will give them a 5.
I came here for lunch with my friend and got Lomo Saltado. Great spot for lunch as the service is quick. The lomo saltado was yummy and the green sauce it comes with is delicious!! Great flavor and textures overall :) Als, portion is large!
I ordered a whole chicken and this was given to me. The app also said it would come with a side and that was not given to me as well. Check your food before you leave!
Delicious and great value! We ordered the yuca, lomo saltado, ceviche pescado and 2 glasses of wine was about $66. To start they give you a comforting chicken and rice soup and when you add the Aji sauce- yum! All the dishes were amazing and tasty as well as the salsas. While I like spicy, the red for me got some kick. The green salsa had the perfect spice for me. My favorite was eating every piece of the lomo saltado (beef, rice, red onion, tomato) with both the salsa verde and Aji sauce all in one bite- flavors are phenomenal! Servers were nice and happy. We'll definitely be back
Returned for a sit down experience and it was nice from start to finish. All the staff were friendly and accommodating to us. I especially loved how they didn't make us feel like we needed to leave right away. We ordered: Pollo Saltado, Plantains, Camarón al Ajo, Aguadito Soup, Maracuya Juice and Raspberry Tea. Everything was delicious and very filling - even had food to take home!! Happy we came for dine-in and will definitely return again!

I have come to this restaurant many many times over the past three decades, and just realized I had never ever done a review. It was time! I always ordered the same thing the Aji de Galina - when I walked in on this hot Friday afternoon, I was looking for a terrific lunch - imagine my surprise when I showed up and it wasn't that busy at lunchtime? What the heck! This place used to be packed at lunch lunchtime! I was seated quickly, ordered my drink, and ordered my entrée! While I was waiting, I took a look around. It was a nice restaurant - still the service was very prompt and good - why wasn't it busier? Huh. A big surprise to me. Needless to say? When the food came, I was pleased that it tasted exactly the same as I remember - excellent. I got a small bowl of chicken soup, and my entrée was fantastic and plentiful with lots of chicken the way I like it! I can't really say I'll come again and you should too because I know I will come again! But this place is worth a stop if you want to try good food at reasonable prices. Check it out and let me know what you think! read more

we've been going to the original location in Lawndale for over 40years, when we used to work in south bay. even when we live over 40 miles away, we always love to visit whenever we're in the neighborhood. this time I wanted to try their new location close to LAX as we're picking up daughter's family and meet up with other daughter. total of 6 adults+3 toddlers. we arrived on a Friday around 7pm. there's plenty of parking inside the the plaza. the place is not very big but not full so we got seated right away. the menu is identical to the Lawndale location. we ordered 2 lomo saltados (my favorite), 2 of their rotisserie chicken combos, a steak, a seafood pasta, and 2 appetizer ceviche. everyone got their complementary soup (yum) as well. ceviche was a little too tangy for our taste, but lots of fish and seafood. lomo saltados is still the best, especially with their homemade green spicy sauce. hubby said the chicken is still not as good as the Lawndale store. but the pasta and steak are both very good as well, according to my daughter and her hubby. we enjoyed the meal with the entire family. It's definitely more convenient than the Lawndale location, if you ever lands in LAX. read more
This location is such a gem. It's clean, decor is cute, staff a nice, food is great. The lomo saltado was perfect. Steak was tender, fries were golden, flavor was on point. Served with rice that's also seasoned well. Top it with the green sauce and it's 100! It comes with a small bowl of the chicken soup which was super flavorful and good. Got a side of plantains which were yummy. Had to ask for the bread, which was soooo good! Excited to come back to this location. read more

Inka is always a great choice for lunch or dinner. Their dishes are flavorful and filling as they offer great portion sizes and the food doesn't feel too heavy after you eat. The lomo saltado is always a must order and comes with steak, tomatoes, onions, and fries. It comes with a delicious and spicy green sauce that goes well with everything. If you dine in during lunch you also receive a cup of chicken soup with every entree ordered. Service is fast and friendly and they always make sure you're stocked on green sauce and water. Ambiance is great and have plenty of seating inside. A few other must orders is their piccantes and their fried rices. read more

So happy Inka came to West LA! First time at this location and these dishes did not disappoint. My go to is the Picante and Chaufa. The creamy and slightly spicy picante has such a unique taste that's hard to get anywhere else. The Chaufa is also my favorite! With the green sauce, the blend is so good. Each entree also comes with their delicious signature green soup. This location allows for dine in and to go orders. The servers come to the table for dine in options or you can order at the counter for to go. It's a casual and homey restaurant with delicious food! Definitely recommend to anyone who hasn't tried it! read more
Fantastic, family-owned spot with great food and attentive service. My husband is a Peruvian food enthusiast and he loves this place. It doesn't matter what you get, you'll enjoy this authentic taste of Peru. Also - the staff are really lovely, if you have questions about a dish - just ask, they're happy to walk you through the menu to find exactly what you want. Parking is easy and free. And they do karaoke on Thursdays :) This may become a regular stop for us! read more

First time visiting this Peruvian restaurant on PCH in el Segundo. You can either order to go at the counter or seat at a table or one of their cozy booths and order for eating in. I ordered the picante pollo that was on their lunch special menu. All entrees come with a rice and chicken soup that is pretty tasty. My food was a mix of potatoes and chicken with a thick sauce. It wasn't that spicy though. It comes with a side of white rice. It was flavorful. Next time I will likely try something else like their 1/4 chicken with two sides. Our server was great and spent time telling us an out the menu. read more

I love this place and it's food. Unfortunately the workers are not very nice at this location. I had hair in my food. When they took my plate, no one said sorry or anything. They just took it silently when it came to the bill, they didn't offer me a discount, free dessert, or anything for their apologies of the inconvenience of the hair. wasn't expecting anything, but at least they could've apologize instead of having attitude that there was a hair. I would expect a little better service in a matter of this situation. read more
So excited to see El Pollo Inka in El Segundo! We dined in on 1/5/25 and everything was great. The restaurant is nice and clean. They just opened 3 months ago. The food is the same, tasty and fresh. We always order saltado. My husband and I ordered saltado de mariscos, the kids ordered lomo saltado. We also love their plantain. The soup was hearty with chunks of chicken, we sort of prefer the soup at the other locations but it was good. We didn't get bread like we usually do. Customer service is great! Everyone was attentive and friendly. They were quick to get anything we needed. They are located on Sepulveda and El Segundo close to Top Golf. We also liked the plates and the decor was welcoming. Definitely will be back at this location. read more

I have been a customer of el pollo inka since I was a child and this is the first time my plate looked as little as this, also the soup isn't as good as other locations. First and last time I go to this location. I will drive the extra 15 minutes to go to either the Lawndale or Hermosa location. read more
So excited this location finally opened. It brings the unique Peruvian flavors to the northern edge of the South Bay. Most entrees include a serving of the delicious chicken, rice, cilantro soup. Prices are very reasonable and portions big. The service was a team effort, and made sure that drinks were filled and needs met. Of the locations I had previously visited, this was the brightest. It's a mid size space with several booths and tables. There's plenty of parking in the parking lot and looks like it's easy to get takeout. We enjoyed our food and look forward to coming back for more! read more
