This is my first time at a Wildbird but it def will not be my last. Quick take it is delicious with some unique menu items. We both ordered the 1/4 chicken which comes with 2 sides, salsa & tortillas. First off the grilled chicken is great, nicely cooked with spices that give it a unique (not hot) flavor. The sides are def next level, i had the Spanish Rice & Green Chicken Pozole. Ok this is the best pozole I've ever had in a restaurant! I would get a big bowl of it if I could :) My Son had the Mexican Street Corn & Brocolli, I had a taste of both and YUM!!! The street corn comes off the cob in a cup which def makes it easier to eat! Since we picked it up to go I cant say much about the restaurant except that it was very clean and smelled good. The service was was quick and friendly. Wildbird is a located in an unassuming area near business parks in El Segundo. There's lots of parking nearby. As other reviewers mentioned, it can seem like no one is there but you can order from the self-serve kiosk and someone from the kitchen will bring it out for you. There's also a call button if you need it. We both ordered chicken plates. Mine was the boneless breast and I got white sauce and pico. My bf got chicken tinga. We both got rice as a side and you get a huge portion of it. I also got broccoli and it was seasoned just right. My boyfriend ended up liking the chicken I got better but the chicken tinga is very flavorful and tender. There weren't any employees outside of the kitchen so you'll probably only see someone when your food is being brought out. It's great to have a healthier fast food option! read more

For the mains, I got to try their bone-in chicken and their chicken tinga, and for the sides, I had the sweet potatoes and kale slaw. This is truly a hidden gem deep in the industrial & corporate area of El Segundo, east of Sepulveda. If you aren't looking for this place specifically, there's a good chance you won't find it unless you're looking for their flag banner on Utah St. otherwise, no obvious signage. Also helped ring up our drinks since the drink offerings aren't completely covered on the self order kiosks. Stopped by for a quick lunch since my office is nearby. Ended up placing an online order for a Harvest Bowl and side of Brussels sprouts. Food was ready ahead of scheduled pickup and everything I tried was great! Harvest bowl is a great healthier option with a variety of flavors and textures that I loved. I added the Wild and House salsa. The Wild salsa definitely has a kick which I loved! The brussels sprouts are amazing as well. Not a better bird. Soooo disappointed. The driest chicken breast I have ever eaten. Could not even finish it. Rotisserie chicken is supposed to be fresh and juicy. On the plus side had the chicken been juicy and fresh the taste profile was very good if you like garlic. The brussels and the charo beans were very tasty. The kale salad was good but too spicy for me but others will like it. The sauces were very spicy but again others will love them. We came here today after our kids softball game, knowing we are getting a Wildbird close to us soon we wanted to check it out. Food was top notch! We did the half chicken and split it between the 3 of us and 3 premium sides. We loved absolutely everything. There was only one girl behind the counter and she was taking the orders and prepping the food but she killed it. People kept coming in and she did a great job of handling it all. The green sauce was delicious and has a bit of heat! The white sauce is like a ranch. The chicken was perfectly marinated & juicy and the skin was perfectly crispy and tasty. We stripped that bird to the bones! I already know what I wanna try next time ha. The brussels sprouts had a little sweetness to them, but they were cooked to the perfect consistency. The elote mixed with the beans and tomatoes, and whatever else they put in there was excellent as well. Buffalo cauliflower yummy. Not incredibly fair to leave a bad review when we haven't even tasted the food. The experience was beyond odd.... Showed up on a Saturday night. Place was empty (literally speaking), no one inside, no one behind the counter, etc. Struggled with order screen for 10 mins. Still absolutely no one. After maybe 15 mins, someone came from the back. We tried to place our order with him, but literally got a blank stare like we just landed from Pluto. We gave it a good other 5 mins to make it work, but got nowhere and ended up leaving. I'm a fan of this concept. We've had takeout twice now and I think the chicken Tinga and boneless breast market plates are great. The great definitely benefits from one or multiple of the sauces being applied as it isn't the most flavorful but very juicy. I think the sides are standouts. I'm not familiar with this chain but I can tell you the chicken dorados tacos are fantastic! Filled with juicy and seasoned meat, topped with fresh and spicy vegetables. It's nice that they have a bike rack to lock your bike up, which is super convenient. I was recovering from food poisoning and needed something light to reintroduce my gut to food, so I ordered the boneless chicken breast with rice and sweet potatoes. My mother didn't even finish hers as she began feeling ill after a couple of bites, and I ended up stomach sick after eating my meal.
