I was going to a movie nearby and wanted something yummy before it started. It was kinda an odd timeframe (10a) but Mexican always sounds good. Immediately upon entering I was pleased to see a salsa bar and a menu for breakfast burritos. I had the chorizo breakfast burrito (egg chorizo and tater tots). It was beyond delicious!! It's pretty large and I wanted to save half for later but I couldn't help myself and ate the whole thing. They also included a generous amount of chips. Only small disappointment was that the "hot" salsa (more of a sauce consistency, which is also my preference) was not as spicy as I hoped. It had a good flavor though. I'm not usually in this area of town but I highly recommend and will definitely be back to try more!! read more

The Baseline: For a Mexican fast casual restaurant the flavors of the food must make use of the prime Mexican ingredients (corn, beans, chiles, rice, cheese, and meats), preparation of sauces/salsas must be fresh, the meal portion size must make me feel full, and service must be efficient. Food: Good flavors for the food here at Pachanga. The burrito was 1/2 chicken and 1/2 carnitas with a good salsa that filled us up. The pinto/refried beans had a good earthiness to the flavor that I enjoyed when I mixed it with their salsa. Chips come with all entree orders which is nice not having to order separately. Service: Good service and friendly when I ordered. Made sure I got an extra bag for my salsa bar salsa containers. Ambiance: Clean fast casual seating and there is a salsa bar (but no cilantro or Escabeche available on the bar). read more

Damn what a breakfast burrito! First time I ordered via uber eats app and got their loaded breakfast burrito that has eggs tater tots bacon steak and avocado. It was an amazing deal. The place was hard to find as in the app it shows up as Go Burrito Breakfast. The place was packed at lunch time and the burrito was well prepared and delicious. May become a regular. According to my coworker, who grew up around the area, this place has been around for a very long time. It offers items you would expect like burritos, tacos, nachos, etc. The guys here were pretty friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering a burrito Padrino with chicken. This comes with Kwok and sour cream. The burritos pretty huge. I the whole thing because I skipped breakfast and was hungry, but honestly, I probably could have cut it in half and ate half of it for lunch and dinner. Ex Angelino now living in Georgia ( a place that truly lacks good Mexican food) I stumbled upon this restaurant after some local shopping. I ordered a bean and cheese burrito, wet with cheese on top. The red sauce is SO good, their own recipe made with love, I was thrilled with it. The burrito was so big I took more than half home. Loved their salsa bar too. The pico is fresh and delicious. Came here to pick up lunch to-go, and ordered a burrito gigante! It was definitely "gigante" indeed, and had plenty of guac and steak! I'm a big eater but I had to split this one into two ‍. I was also surprised it came with some chips too in the bag! At the restaurant, they had a sauce bar too if you'd like to load up on some sauces for your food, and a soda fountain too. The burritos are nice and big, especially like their breakfast one that had hashbrowns like a fresh salsa with these fluffy eggs. They're Carnitas that's pretty good as well and their Carne Asada. Typical Mexican food, no surprises and nothing standout about this place. Prices are "typical Manhattan Beach," which means $11-13 for a burrito these days. My usual is the chicken padrino burrito. It's a large burrito and pretty tasty. No complaints on portion size. Don't forget to stop by the self serve salsa bar in the back! The food overall is generic Mexican. Like, close your eyes and imagine "Mexican food." If you dine in, they serve food in those seemingly-ubiquitous plastic baskets. No, it's not the most authentic. Lots of sour cream and cheese. A few choices of meat but nothing exotic. But also nothing offensive. The thing for me is, if I just want any ol' Mexican food to satisfy a craving, Chipotle does the trick for half the price. If I want something specific, I'd know another place to go. I guess we're just spoiled by Southern California--it takes a lot for Mexican food to be special or memorable around here. This place is neither, but if you're craving classic fare then this should suffice. read more

!!! ANOTHER MEAT MISER !!! Burrito exploded like a water balloon! This place is determined to make the portions large while skimping on the meat thus delivering a very bad experience. Sure using a paltry amount of protein in a burrito then stuffing it with 90% of the low cost ingredients means larger profit margins, but it also means you lose return customers. I will never return. I ordered a steak and egg breakfast burrito and in an effort to use as little meat as possible it was 40% pico de gallo. There was so much that any heat from the eggs, potato, and steak dissipated quickly thus making the burrito room temp within the first couple bites. Speaking of the first bite, it resulted in the back of the burrito exploding like a water balloon. They didn't even use a slotted spoon to put the pico de gallo in the burrito so included with the massive amount of pico de gallo was a few ounces of fluid that caused the burrito fall apart and impossible to eat with your hands. Not to mention all this fluid made the potatoes soggy as well as creating gross small sparse bits of sodden room temp beef. Total disappointment for over 12 bucks. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! read more

The only reason I come here even though the prices are a little bit high is because of Martha!!!!! she's always so sweet. I feel like she treats you like family. She's the best worker they have. They are lucky to have her because without her I would not go there. Ordered quite a bit (there were 6 of us) and our table was wildly sticky. They came out and sprayed it down with what smelled like bleach and it almost made it worse. The enchilada sauce was decent and that was about it. With all the amazing Mexican food options in LA I never understand how places like this stay open because even chipotle/qdoba/the other 'Mexican' spots are above this one. Decided to give this place a try yesterday. The young girl who took my order was friendly and kind. We ordered a chicken bowl. When we received the bowl, the chicken was raw. I am so thankful I noticed before my daughter took a bite. My daughter addressed the issue with the cook. Unfortunately, the cook did not understand or speak English. The young woman that took our order stepped in. She was understanding and kind when we explained we could no longer trust having a meal here. She refunded our order without hesitation. She deserves a raise being she was the best part of our visit. We will never return but wish her the best. This establishment needs a health department check asap.
