Almost all of the fries maintained their crispness with the chili on top. The chili was good. I think I tasted some Worcestershire sauce in the chili. Service was very friendly and prompt. I've been to Corner Burger once and enjoyed their fries. I've always been intrigued however with their drinks. I've had read that they make some amazing shakes and smoothes. When I spotted that they had Pumpkin Spice drinks, I knew I needed to try it. I'm a big pumpkin spice girl and won't pass up a PSL drink when I see one. One can get the Pumpkin Spice, hot, iced or iced blended. I got my drink ice blended with regular milk. A small came out to about a little over $6.71 I was slightly surprised since the menu showed a small about a $1 less than that but then I saw that whipped cream was extra. Hmm I'm not a big whipped cream fan and honestly would've skipped it if I knew it was extra. Inspite of the initial sticker shock with slightly higher price, I ended up enjoying my drink. It has a really good pumpkin flavor. It was cool and quite refreshing. It also had a bit of a caffeine kick. Omg the burger and fries were so yummy. The veggies were fresh and crisp and the bread was buttered and toasted to perfection. This place is also just so cute. We sat outside with our dogs and enjoyed the quiet view. There's a cute library right across the street with a bunch of grass area so we walked our dogs after our meal. Was in the area and was craving a burger, so I searched up the nearest burger, location, and found this little gem. It is absolutely 10 out of 10. I got the southwestern burger. I don't like my hamburgers too spicy so they went easy on the jalapeños, but it was delicious. All the product was so fresh and the Customer Service is really amazing. Placed an order for delivery, asked for sides of salsa on all meals recieved one. Ordered coffee that was spilled in the bag and had to clean/wipe everything down. Pancakes came with no syrup or butter. And then as my husband was eating his sausage sandwich which had little to NO sausage he bit into a metal piece which looks like whats on the end of a sausage roll package. Very disturbing. Food Went here on a friday lunch with coworkers. As a sucker for blue cheese and caramelized onions, i got the blue boy burger and when i was asked on the donensss of the burger, I said medium rare. I also decide to indulge a bit on an oreo milkshake. The burger itself was more on the medium side but it was fine as it still tasted delicious and was pretty juicy. I loved the sweetness of the caramelized onions with the pungent saltiness of the blue cheese and all of it was complemented by the oreo milkshake. An overall guilty pleasure of a meal. The oreo milkshake was just right too as it was easy to drink, wasn't too frozen and wasn't too melted Vibe/Ambiance Once inside, they have this small kitchen diner vibe. There is only a few seating options inside and a few outside seating as well but not a lot so expect to possibly have it to go. I had ordered over the phone and my order was ready the moment I walked in. The place is small and clean, but has plenty of seating inside and out. There were only two diners eating outside with a mostly empty inside. It seems like a grab and go spot because they were taking plenty of phone orders. My food was warm when I opened it. They ask how I want my patty cooked so I'm assuming it's fresh (it tasted fresh!). I found the burger to be deliciously gooey with blue cheese and plenty of sweet, warm onions. They "Cook to Order" meaning it's a fresh made burger that also can be done "Medium Rare" nice and juicy n' tender, as opposed to many places that does "Medium to Well Done" only, serving dried tough patties. The "double meat" second burger patty is only $3 more, which is a way better deal than the "Drink and Fries" upgrade meal combo, 'tho it's "free refills" on the soda. I'd do the extra patty, even if it's either to share with someone else or take home. This is in a nice part of Lawndale near the court house and library that's super awesome and easy to find parking. I want to preference my review with saying that I don't eat beef a lot maybe once or twice a month and twice is pushing it. My sons (15 & 2) and I decided to try this place when my 15 yo requested burgers for dinner. I'm always down to try an unfamiliar place and I love small businesses as they still have a lot of quality in their work. So despite my limited beef intake, I was more than willing to try this place. We initially tried to place an order online, but that feature was not working. I tried to call but was on hold for a little less than 10 minutes before hanging up. I want to say that the long hold was annoying but I assumed they were busy with lots of customers and so we decided to drive over and wait. When I walked it, I was irritated to see that there wasn't a line of customers ordering, but that irritation quickly left when I noticed there were only two ladies working. At least that is all I could see. One was cooking, the other was helping cooking, taking orders, serving and keeping the place near and tidy. How could I even be mad at this hustle?? We ordered our food and it was ready at exactly the time I was told it would take. The cashier even suggested some dipping sauce to try and recommended the best for future breakfast orders. Now onto the food: I decided to get the kids combo cheeseburger for my 2 yo, my 15 yo got the #3 combo bacon cheeseburger and I got the #2 cheese burger combo. My 15 yo stated he liked the cheese burger, he just would order less lettuce next time and he just wishes the fries had more seasoning and were a bit crunchier. I agree with the fries. I just wish my burger had more seasoning, but I wanna say I ate the whole thing. I would also suggest lite lettuce on the kids burger. My toddler didn't really eat his burger, but he's not big on burgers either. He did take more bites than he normally does, so that's a plus for them. I would try the tenders for him next time.
