Living in LV now for over 20 years, we totally miss Charbroiled joints like this all over CA. Piggie's menu has both America and Mexican classics like burgers and burritos and all the popular breakfast items as well. There prices are very affordable considering the cost of inflation and it being CA. Decor has a 90's feel but has a nostalgic feel... esp if you're a Gen X. read more

I used to eat at Piggies twice a week on my lunch breaks. They have changed ownerships twice since I was last here. Tania, I have never been at this location and while I was getting my car looked at down the street, they recommended Piggie's. Tania has a beautiful spirit and she gave me the desire to order something to eat now and something else for work. The food has awesome! but Tania drove it home. I've been here a few times and the food was decent if not overpriced. However this last time I couldn't even finish anything. The steak sandwich I ordered, the meat tasted off and had an odd texture to it. The soda I ordered was Pepsi zero and it tasted wrong, so I asked to change it to regular Pepsi and it tasted even worse. Almost like it wasn't even that brand or just expired. I mentioned this to the cashier and told her I just couldn't eat this. She said oh sorry but nothing more, so I just tossed everything in the trash. I've never experienced this at a restaurant before, and all I can say is their quality must have just completely disappeared and their equipment must not be cleaned. read more

I go to Piggies at least once a week and it never lets me down. The food is the BOMB! I am always greeted with wonderful friendly staff. One of our favs is Tanya, she always remembers our orders (which is very personable), and she never forgets our ranch, gotta love that! Super sweet gal! I'm at Piggy's right now as they sent out coupons in the weekly junk mail so I ordered two double cheeseburgers and gave them the BOGO coupon and they said the BOGO only included a regular cheeseburger. Like the second patty and slice of cheese was too much for them to handle. I wasn't angry and didn't argue as that is pretty stupid but the guy working the grill and making the decisions regarding the protein, looked pretty miserable. Also, I tried to call ahead and order ahead multiple times over the span of several minutes and I kept being placed on hold and never return to. I sat on hold for five minutes. I tried calling twice before I realized someone was either a worthless loser , or there was a big party at the place. It was the former not the latter. Anyway, just understand that that piggies buy one get one free does not mean buy one get one of equal value for free. It means they will give you whatever the miserable guy decides you should get. This is my second really negative experience. Normally, it's three strikes with this place, I am going to accept the fact that it just sucks and not give it a third try. Also, I live right around the corner, so please do not litter my lawn with coupons you are not even going to honor. read more

First of all, I don't right too many reviews unless they are above normal expectations. The counter gal was kind and friendly. And they delivered our meal at the table. The burgers were AMAZING! I wasn't planning on eating the whole thing at one sitting, but it was so good and, I didn't want to put it down even though I am not a big eater. And the fries were hot and tasty- not too salty. The cook was very nice too. Clean bathrooms and friendly atmosphere. I usually don't tip at fast food places but I felt I needed to show my appreciation so how. Food prices are not what they used to be. Everything is more expensive I get it. The customer service has gone down so far. You just don't want to go to the same place again any time soon. The food tonight was good enough to eat when you are hungry. I ordered beef soup. Which was good. (A bit salty) the other order was a carne asada quesadilla. I believe we got something else. It was some ground beef with something I didn't want to even taste. I know that I am not the only customer or may be the most difficult person to help. I just think they can afford to pay attention to what is ordered. The place is having a face lift. So I guess that is good. I would like it the way it used to be. Good taste and good customer service. I give them a 3.5 out of six read more

I placed an order for Huevos a la Mexicana on the Piggies website. I was given a price of $12.97. I added a hamburger patty for $3.49, bringing the total to $16.46. Adding 10.25% sales tax brought the total bill to $18.15, which was charged to my credit card. When I went to pick up my food, there was no hamburger patty, although the receipt they gave me said "Add Hamburger Patty". The cashier, who was very rude, told me that I was not charged for the hamburger patty. I showed her that I clearly was charged for the hamburger patty, as the cost was included in the total bill. The cashier went and got the manager, who gave me the same spiel. He tried to tell me that I was paying $16.46 just for the Huevos a la Mexicana, and did not want to hear about the pricing as I detailed above. Bottom line, THEY RIPPED ME OFF. THEY WERE RUDE. AND, TO TOP IT ALL OFF, THE FOOD TASTED LIKE CRAP! I will never go back to Piggie's again, and I encourage you to spend your money elsewhere. There are too many places to get food around here to waste your time with an establishment like this. read more

It breaks my heart to have to write this review but with how expensive everything is these days...DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! I've debated whether or not to write a review but this is for the true Piggie's OGs...I'm not sure what happened with management/owners but it has gone downhill. Portion sizes are smaller and prices are insane. I don't mind paying more money but I expect the food to meet the standards. My Piggie's loyalty has kept me in denial and so I kept giving them chances but some of my all time favorites have had changes. The Greek salad with chicken I swear was always made with love and packed in the container. Last time I ordered it everything was just thrown in. The chili cheese fries were a Piggie's must and we were totally disappointed with the taste of chili/cheese it seemed there were only like 10fries. The breakfast burritos too.. are much smaller, and noticed it's shredded hash browns vs the potatoes that were previously used. The burgers seem to be made differently. I hate that the zucchini get soggy with how they package it now. It makes me so sad that I won't be returning here after all these years but I cannot support them any longer. Bring back the old Piggie's! read more

Went to what I thought was piggies and left a total disappointment. The lady at the register (no uniform or name tag) didn't know what she was doing at the moment of putting my order in and had to ask for help. We waited for 30 min to only get a wrong order and she got bothered when they told her she had given the wrong order. She then continued to run around the entire kitchen confusing everyone els. Both cooks looked annoyed. We did not get any utensils or napkins and didn't realize it until we got home, Where we also Came to realize our burgers were made wrong( no lettuce or tomatoes) The place I as clean, I'm guessing from people not returning, like we won't be. read more

My coworkers and I order salads from here at least twice a week. I started to notice a change in service, size portion and most recently I couldn't order on line for pick up. Come to find out, it was recently sold and the new owners do not use the same simple on line order process. We are so very close to stop ordering from here. Yesterday not only were the salads once again about 1/3 less than they used to be, the forgot to include salad dressing. To the owners, get it together people. read more

Service is sometimes nice but more often slow. So yea, I'm not going to pressure the kids to keep coming to this strip mall out of habit, even if it is just outside our door.

There's seating inside and outside and some other customers doing pick up orders to go. It's located in a low key plaza with two bunny logo themed businesses. Not too hard to get parking, but we went pretty late at night, so not sure what it's like during the day time. Pretty extensive menu with lots of different burger combinations, a Brazilian hot dog, salgados (snacks), fries, sweets, and much more. They call out your number when the food is ready, but the gentlemen working were super kind and brought everything out to our table. Thank you! He also brought out all of the sauces too. There's the standard ketchup and mustard, a thousand island style sauce, horse radish kick style mayo, and our favorite, the green sauce. Creamy chimichurri with cilantro taste to it, I was heavily dipping our side of fries in it. For our late night dinner, we got the: 1) X-Picanha: -This is their top sirloin cap picanha with melted mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, corn, potato sticks, and their special sauce. -The pictures look like they're goofy Scooby Doo sized vertically tall burgers, but they're manageable. It's enough to feed 2 hungry adults enough if you also upgrade to the combo with the fries and a fountain drink (they also have canned and bottled drinks too). -The picanha is super juicy and tender, went great with the cheese, crunch of the potato sticks and freshness of the veggies. Can't go wrong with a solid, unique burger. 2) Coxinha De Frango: -Our friend ordered this and we got to try it and she, as a Brazilian said this food, and the establishment, are authentically Brazilian which is great. -It's a chicken croquette. Fluffy, slightly crisp on the outside and delicious chicken meat on the inside. Not too salty and not too dry. I love eating this whenever I get the chance to. Would definitely come back again to try more of their menu. Lots Brazilian themed decor here, awards, pictures with customers or celebrities, soccer themed goods, and they play Brazilian music too. Love the dinosaur and the photo op too.

I have been a loyal customer at this restaurant for quite some time, visiting at least twice a week. However, my recent experience was beyond disappointing. The service was horrendous, my food was cold, and when I brought it to the manager's attention, he handled the situation in an unprofessional manner. Instead of providing me with new food as promised, the manager simply placed my original plate back on the grill after running his hand over it. When I refused to accept the reheated food, he became defensive and refused to refund my money. To make matters worse, when my new plate finally arrived, I discovered that the piece of bread I had previously pinched off was still there, covered up with extra cinnamon and sugar. When I brought this to the manager's attention, he became angry and refused to rectify the situation. The manager's behavior was completely unacceptable and I was appalled by his lack of professionalism. I ultimately had to threaten to involve the authorities in order to receive a refund. This experience was not only unsatisfactory, but also unsanitary. I will not be returning to this establishment and would caution others to steer clear as well. read more

Greasy goodness! If your are looking to get rid of a hangover, or have the munchies, or you just want to get some good old fat stuff inside you. Service is great and fast, the restaurant smells great, it is a clean place. The place is very old though. You can observe this by looking at the tables and chairs, and the walls. It needs an updat on everything besides the food. If you live in Hawthorne, this place is the stuff legends are made of. I wouldn't be surprised if they stay in business for the next thirty years. Just needs a new paint job and chairs and stuff and I'll give it an easy five. read more

Let me start with saying portions here are no joke I came in for lunch today and had a Greek chicken salad. It has Bell peppers red onions pepper Cheaneys feta cheese tomatoes olives etc. very healthy salad and it comes with A pita bread and their homemade Greek dressing. Service was fast. And they had the food done real fast. It has been a while since I've came in here. And ate. And I noticed they did do some remodeling. All in all great place to come in eat. I've been coming here since I was a kid so 47 years my parents were probably eating here before I was born. Over the years they've changed owners and again they just changed. The one thing I came here for were their breakfast potatos and it's disappointing to see that the new owners decided to change to the same ol shoestring potatos that every other restaurant has. I've been coming here for over 10yrs but the overall quality of the establishment has been deteriorating over the years. The quality of the food is questionable to say the least, the service is HORRID (manager and employees talking about customers while servicing customers), the prices are increasing while the size keeps getting small, the list can go on. Piggies is the most amazing place I've been too. I live in Arizona and I crave it all the time. I've actually have been going to Piggies since I was born, I hope they never go away since it's been here for a long time! I recommend the Chilli Cheese Fries, teriyaki plate one, and the Hawaiian burgers which are the best! I never leave here unsatisfied. I'll be sure to be there in about a week. read more
