We came to get some tacos and was very disappointed. I ordered 2 tacos to try them one adobada and one asada taco and ended up throwing them away. The adobada taco was too sweet and the asada had a lot of nervios and hardly any meat. Habanero cream hot sauce, straight fire! So many little mom and pop taco places in the area, some more popular than others but I like to root for the underdogs at times and this place is pretty underrated. Located in a pretty small plaza, there's not much parking, and not much else to see but it's definitely worth a try. Been here many times, and everything I've had here was pretty tasty. I normally go with the lengua tacos or burrito with that oh so sinfully delicious habanero cream hot sauce they have available at their quaint little salsa bar. That sauce is literally fire, sooo good, I could put It on everything! It's seriously what keeps me hooked to this place for my spicy cravings, yum! :) The workers are friendly, they also have daily deals on their board which are great; so the prices are pretty legit for what you get. This place is legit. The actual restaurant is pretty small but what it lacks in size it makes up for in taste. The carne asada and al pastor tacos are good. But what keeps me coming back is their carnitas tacos, they are amazing ! They seem to really take their time in cooking the pork because it is as soft as it can be. I can't say enough about their tacos besides you have to try them. As mentioned before the restaurant itself is pretty small but it uses the space well. But don't expect to bring a big group and be able to all fit. The people working there are super nice and helpful. They will answer all your questions and even give suggestions should you need them. The lady at the register asked if I wanted extra salsa, and now I know why. The al pastor was also flavorless and appeared to be chopped pork and not shaved off a split. I didn't see a split so I'm assuming that they it was cooked a while ago and was sitting in a warmer. Tacos are $1.40 each. The music was on and I thought they were going to have amazing food. I saw them make the burrito. It was made, then topped off with some kind of sour cream-tomato sauce. The sauce comes in a container. They pour the cold sauce over the burrito and then put the burrito covered in the sauce in a microwave. It didn't come with chips. Honestly we tried this spot when it first had opened up and were left disappointed due to the lack in flavor and too many tendons in the meat. However we decided to give it another try 3 yrs later and I must say they have made some good improvements. - they have a small condiment bar with different salsas - there meat (carne asada)is tendon free now -flavors are spot on - lady who works the register is really sweet and courteous I appreciate their business and will be back to satisfy my burrito craving.
