    Presidente margarita
    Tracy P.

Checked this place out on a quiet Wednesday evening. The place is spacious with a dining area and separated bar. Everything is super clean. First impression that everything is priced fairly, at about $17 per plate depending on Cadillac Margarita was delicious with the perfect kick. Beautiful presentation like something you'd see from a fine dining Mexican bar. My entree was a barbacoa taco (shredded beef) and chicken enchilada. The taco was crispy and the beef was tender. The enchilada wasn't as good as the taco but still solid. Tortillas seem house made. Light and fluffy. Super solid spot that I ended on coming back to often. 9.5/10

My son and I thought we would give this place a try. Fairly empty at lunch hour. Service was quick and friendly. Bar tender and waiter who made our horchata on the spot. Best I've ever had. !!! We will have to make this a weekly go to spot. We will be back.

Fajitas play become my favorite, but they have a taco too from fresh tortilla and big tacos!!

I love display. Especially because it's run by family. They're very nice very nice bartender. They had a good bar and they had the best fajitas place. I love it. And you can watch the soccer game and have your favorite drink.!!!

I had a long day and went to this restaurant with 1 of my girlfriends and I'm so glad we looked on Yelp for a new spot because this was just what was needed after my exhausting day! The food is mouth watering thinking about it while typing this review! I got the chicken fajitas which were probably the best I've ever had. My friend got the ceviche and carne asada and she said it was on point as well. The service was great! The waitress was so hard working despite all her tables and the blasting fun music (people singing kareoke were amazing.) the margaritas were so flavorful and strong. I recommend the spicy mango and cucumber margaritas! I will definitely be coming back thank you so much!

Racist server who refused to serve me

Very racist establishment. Me being black they didn't want to serve me. I even handed them cash and they held it from me to act like they can't give me any change for my order. Then proceeded to not let me order any food. I even requested just a lemonade drink and they refused even though I gave them exact change if you're black you won't be served here.

The shrimp dishes and fajitas are so good! Great margaritas and Dj music! Fun lively friendly restaurant definitely try for the food and value!

Place is pretty big and clean. Friendly service with a smile. The food was really good. I was pleasantly surprised. I had the carne en su jugo and it was delicious. Our friends had the fajitas and the mole enchiladas, and they couldn't stop raving about them. I also had a cucumber pineapple marg. It was a bit sweet but really tasty. Karaoke was on fire. It's a ways away from where we live, but it may be worth the drive.

    Carnitas Burrito- great flavor
    Jennifer N.

Delicious! We've been here twice. Once when it was changing hands and now again. I don't know why I can't find my original post but I'll leave another one. The bartender came out to help us with our to-go order and brought us not only chips and salsa but lemon water. There was karaoke (thankfully this group was entertaining) and we were happy to wait. The time it took meant it was being freshly prepared. We took home the Asada and Carnitas burritos and split them. The carnitas were a tiny bit dry but had fantastic flavor and so did the asada. I had asked for extra spicy carnitas and it was perfect for me. My bf struggled a bit lol. The salsa and chips were perfect and it all hit the spot. Already craving it again!

If you are looking for a restaurant with a large menu, you will be disappointed. Sure, portions of La La Land were filmed here, and they have some movie memorabilia in the back of the place but they offer far more than jazz here, if that is your impression. There is rock, reggae, salsa, lots of tribute bands, and other stuff. While this may have once been purely a jazz club, I am certain the market simply won't carry (most) strictly jazz places for very long. Based on one photo I saw on the wall, this place has been around for about 76 years. That is impressive. For jazz aficionados, they offer a three hour Sunday jazz brunch (and this is the only time when folks under 21 can enter, by the way). For brunch, there are only four food items available on the menu: a breakfast burrito, avocado toast, one pancake (singular, not plural) and bacon, sausage, and eggs. Remember, you are here for the music, not the food. As for the food, my breakfast burrito was interesting. Knowing restaurants in California, it was probably cooked by a Latino gentleman but this looked like th emost Caucasian burrito of all time. It had chorizo, eggs, potatoes, and other stuff in it, and the tortilla had a nice cheesy skirt on it. It was also on the spicier side, which I enjoyed, but fair warning. I wasn't sure I was going to like it by its looks but I ate the whole thing. It was also a belly bomb and kept me satisfied for about 6 or 7 hours afterward. The avocado toast was actually very good and made with good quality bread. I thought the music was excellent. The members of the band (the John Kithcart Quartert) played their assess off and really seemed to enjoy themselves. True jazz (not that soft elevator music gunk) was popular at one time but let's face it, it is not popular anymore. Jazz certainly can be enjoyed as background music while you enjoy your one pancake but it is certainly not intended to be enjoyed that way. To fully appreciate it, you have to pay attention to it. That doesn't seem too much of an ask. After all, it is the folks on the stage who are doing the hard work. Our server was very good. She was friendly and attentive. My only experience here is with the Sunday jazz brunch so I cannot speak for the venue at any other times. At least for the Sunday brunch, whether you like jazz or not, this place is well worth a try.

We ordered chicken tacos, which took so long to come out I honestly forgot to take a picture. My hubster ordered the chicken wings and fries. Unfortunately, the fries were definitely undercooked, and the chicken was very light-skinned -- it could have been cooked much more. The food overall needs work, and that part was disappointing compared to the rest of the experience. That said, the artist + atmosphere combo was top-tier. I would absolutely come back for the music and the vibe, but next time, I'd skip the food and stick to drinks only. The parking lot is pretty huge and getting here from any direction by freeway or if you live local, you can take the transit here. For the most part, this facility is clean all around. Because it's such a popular venue, they keep this place prettty clean, inside and out. The Kia Forum is, however, a bit on the dated side. Not that it's bad, but when you're inside, you will see that the structure of the place does show its vintage style and age. The coliseum itself goes super high - if you get seats on the third-level, be prepared to climb some stairs! There are a lot of steps at this venue - even to the restrooms. The restrooms are about two long flight of stairs, that leads to the restrooms that are basically in the basement. Again, it's clean and maintained, but there are lots of steps. The sound system at my last visit and with previous visits have been great. You will get great sound anywhere in this venue. One of the best, in my opinion! Staff are also friendly here if you have any questions or need to find something. My only gripe with this place are the parking fees. I paid $55 for parking, but it will vary from $25-$55 for general parking, depending on the type of event. It's very steep! There's parking around the neighborhood, but unless you know Inglewood very well, it can get sketchy outside of the venue. Other than that, love Kia Forum!

SoFi is across the street, so the whole area can be crowded during events. It can be difficult to get there from OC or SD, because it's not far from LAX. At least the Greek is only $40 for normal parking. We were in the 100s, and the seats had very little room in between the rows. There was a premium section near us with better seats and more room, but you will pay even more for those seats. Sound was fine. It was weird that you had to go downstairs for the restrooms, luckily there is one set of restrooms with handicap access on the entrance level. We ate before we came, so we didn't have to buy food there. A personal pizza was $19, and a soda was $8.50. Yikes. We only come her for shows where the artist isn't playing anywhere else in SoCal. I would rather drive to Orange County, Riverside, Pomona, or Palm Desert to go to a show, over LA proper.
