It has that signature roasted cauliflower and just the right amount of spice to balance out the sandwich. It's easily one of the best sides on their menu. The highlight of this visit was definitely sitting outside (inside is ok, a bit noisy and crowded). The patio area is clean, spacious, and perfect for catching some sun while you eat but most tables are shaded by umbrellas. Even though it's right off PCH, it's a great spot to relax and enjoy the El Segundo breeze. The last time we were here, it was during a busy lunch and both the service and the food were below par. But tonight, it wasn't as busy and our server, Geovani, was excellent. First, we were quickly greeted and asked to select our table (since they were not that busy). Since there was only two of us, we picked a table for two. But, after we decided that we would split an appetizer and an entree, the table for two became way to small way too quickly. Geovani jumped right on this, suggesting we move to a larger table. He helped us move everything over and, voila, we were able to stretch out and relax and enjoy our meal. We started with the pear and blue cheese salad and, wow, we could have just ordered this, split it, and we would have been full. Very flavorful, generous portion that is definitely big enough to share. We also ordered the Sausage & Leek Fettuccine and I was definitely not thinking. Totally forgetting that leeks are part of the onion family (and I have a sensativity to onions). Once the dish arrive, I immediately noticed the similarity and was slowly trying to pick them away from my portion. Once again, Geovani came to our rescue. He asked how everything was and I told him I made a mistake (noted above). He quickly volunteered to have the kitchen make it again without the leeks. My son ordered the Chicken Parm with capellini. He loved the huge chicken parm portion, which successfully fed his bottomless teenage appetite, but declared the pasta "too eggy."
