I mean, why is their rating so low? If you sit on the patio, the views are great. I can imagine…read moremaybe they had an issue with poor service. That seems to be a bulk of their poor reviews. When I went, service was ok. They don't deserve such a low rating. I think Uncle Bills is better, but I understand why it's way more crowded. So come for the view, just don't be prepared to get your socks blown off by the food. It's passable, come for the view. So, I have a new rating system......I will be write what I feel honestly about an establishment. The only ratings I will give are 5 stars, which is enjoyable, or 3 stars which is "needs work."

Came by for brunch with a party of three. We were seated at a small table on the outdoor patio,…read morewhich felt a bit cramped for three people. The table was also unbalanced and shaky. We started with a coffee and café latte, which were just okay. We wanted to order the ceviche, but it was unfortunately unavailable. Eggs Benedict with Ham: Not worth the $19 price tag. The egg wasn't very runny, and the overall flavors were nothing special. Belgian Waffle: Met expectations--a safe choice. Breakfast Pita: Essentially a breakfast burrito in pita bread form. Very solid and served with a great hot sauce. The spiced hashbrowns were also a very nice touch. Overall, the menu felt stronger on the Mexican side than the Mediterranean. Unfortunately, the hot sauce ended up being the most flavorful part of our meal. If I were to return, I'd stick to one of the Mexican dishes. Parking: Metered street parking, which can be difficult to find during peak meal times.

Got there right before the dinner rush without reservations and were seated immediately. Always appreciate that. Justin took care of us and was such a gem. Warm, attentive, just very thoughtful and kind the whole night. He even surprised us with the Elvis dessert at the end, which was really sweet. The space is beautiful. Dim lighting. Glowy inside. Lively but not too loud. Very Manhattan Beach. We got the bacon cheddar buttermilk biscuits, roasted Alaskan halibut, and grilled skirt steak. The biscuits were unreal. The halibut felt light but still rich in the best way. The skirt steak had a great char and was exactly what I wanted after that long of a run. Just a really lovely dinner after a long run. Felt taken care of the whole time, I've already recommended this restaurant to friends and can't wait to come back myself

We were really looking forward to dining here, but the experience was disappointing from the start…read more We did our due diligence by checking Yelp and Google Reviews which all showcased this great outdoor dining area (photos and listed here on Yelp and other sites), and we even made an OpenTable reservation specifically requesting "outdoor dining" in the comments. Despite the request, no one called us to clarify their seating options. After navigating the very challenging parking in this area, we arrived only to be told by both hosts that they don't actually have any outdoor dining accommodations. We understand if policies or layouts change, but it would have been professional to receive a call letting us know beforehand. Fortunately, this led us to call The Strand House, where we were able to get a wonderful patio table. They were incredibly professional, and the food was both terrific and memorable. While we won't be returning to MB Post, we highly recommend heading over to The Strand instead.

The fries are a must-try, perfectly crisp and flavorful. The ahi tuna salad was fresh and beautifully balanced, not overpowered by vinegar (as it usually happens) and the sea bass was cooked to perfection with lots of flavours. For dessert, the truffle hazelnut treat is an absolute standout, rich, indulgent, and reminiscent of a Ferrero Rocher. Parking in the area can be a bit challenging, with mostly metered spots nearby. There is some free street parking in the surrounding residential areas if you don't mind a short walk.

Our reservation wasn't until 8:30, so we hung out downstairs for about an hour first. Met a lot of people who were clearly locals and regulars, which always says a lot about a spot. Once we sat down for dinner, we ordered a few things. The bluefin tostadas are a must if you're into seafood. We also had the scallops delicious doesn't even do them justice, just wish there was more than one . My hubby ordered the lamb, which was probably our least favorite since it was a bit dry. The rigatoni though? Unbelievably good. Honestly, I'd come back and order the exact same items minus the lamb lol. Shoutout to Griffin for keeping us going all night . And the buttermilk bread? So good I almost cried. Parking is pretty easy, but definitely come early on a nice day. There are a couple of metered lots nearby with up to 5-hour parking. Fridays they've got a DJ after 9:30 PM... how swayyy See you next time!

I enjoyed it so much that I went back the very next day with my mom and sister for dinner. The spiced Mediterranean chicken with white truffle polenta was incredible. I could've licked the plate clean. My friend tried the thin-layered lasagna and loved it as well. My sister ordered the same chicken dish and was just as impressed. My mom had the trout; while she found it a bit on the dry side, she really enjoyed the potatoes, vegetables, and polenta. Their elevated take on spinach dip was so good! Packed with flavor and pretty colors. We all enjoyed the Hugo Spritz, and the service truly stood out. From the hostess to the waitstaff, everyone was welcoming and attentive. The manager even came around to check on guests, which added a really nice touch. He recommended the passionfruit crème brûlée, and it might honestly be my new favorite dessert. Overall, both of my experiences were amazing, and I'm already looking forward to trying their brunch menu. Reservations are highly recommended, but if you're in a small group (around four or fewer), the wait isn't too bad. There's also plenty of parking, which makes things easy. If you're trying to find it, it's located in Manhattan Village, tucked behind California Pizza Kitchen.
