    Vietnamese Coffee Latte
    Gabriel S.

I got the Vietnamese latte. Which was pretty good. The place has a nice setup but the menu could be overwhelming. Maybe it's just me but I feel like prices were on the higher side. 7/10

This place is a small front connected to a larger dining area, The Second Wind. Service was pleasant and area was clean. However, this place doesn't really do it for me in terms of milk tea. I had the taro milk tea and floral milk tea both with boba. The taro milk tea was mostly milk with sprinkles of taro flavor and spots of tea. The floral milk tea had a slight flowery taste and was bitter. The boba they have is perfectly fine though. Neither of those really make the cut for me. In my opinion, it's not worth it for people who love milk tea. Maybe their coffee is better, but I don't care much for their milk teas at all.

Pretty convenient for this run. I was waiting for my food order next door when I noticed the door to this place. I got curious and figure I'd most likely find something to wash my grub with. So I did a quick review of their menu through the kiosk and didn't take long before I found something I wanted: iced matcha latte. Added crystal boba to that. VERDICT: Refreshing, indeed! And it's go well with my garlic noodle steak! DRINK: 4. SERVICE: 3. Very minimal interaction. Drink came out fast. VALUE: 3. PARKING: Shared with many other businesses. Shouldn't be an issue. OVERALL: 3.24. The location of both places is pretty clever, and even more so with a common door in between. I noticed many customers going to both spots. Looking forward to trying them out again in the future.

This coffee shop is connected to Second Wind Restaurant so you'll be entering through their entrance. I came here to get some work done but ended up getting some grab and go coffee because there wasn't WiFi. The workers were friendly and let me know about this right away, which I appreciated! They explained that they just opened and are still in the process of getting WiFi set up. I usually get black iced coffee or cold brews but wanted to try one of their uniqie flavors. I got the Pink Perks Iced Coffee, lightly sweetened - I was pleasantly surprised by the strawberry coffee combo! Looking forward to checking it out once they're fully running.

Yay, a coffee and tea shop that's open late! I tried Tera Coffee after eating at The Second Wind, which is connected to Tera Coffee. It's a very fun and cute coffee shop with lots of options for coffee and tea. I tried the banana coffee which I'm pretty sure had a much fancier name but I can't recall what it is. It had the perfect amount of banana flavoring, nothing overpowering and very yummy. You can order at a kiosk or the counter and it's a nice alternative to traditional coffee shops if you're craving something a little more adventurous. There was one employee at the time I was there and he was extremely nice and gave me some recommendations on drinks to try. Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of my drink.

They are quick. Kiosk ordering was easy and simple. I had matcha coffee and was pretty good Will be coming back and trying others

Wild Leaf Cream Toast, Lychee Strawberry Fruit Tea, Blue Emerald Lemonade w.Star Mango Jelly

Stopped by this casual bubble tea/coffee shop for a late night drink and snack. It's located in a plaza with lots of other stores, a parking lot, and plenty of outdoor seating. Their menu was very expansive with a good variety of drinks - lattes, drip coffees, and teas. We went with the lychee strawberry fruit tea, blue emerald lemonade, and the wild leaf cream toast (purple yam/ube and matcha) and didn't have to wait too long. The lychee strawberry fruit tea was pretty solid - very similar to other establishments I've had. The blue emerald lemonade was good - it tasted like how you'd expect with lemonade and blue raspberry mixed. The only item that was off to me was the wild leaf cream toast (ube and matcha flavoring). It was cream on top of a piece of toasted bread like described, but it felt like they just dusted some bubble tea flavor mix on top of the cream. It just made the texture and flavoring experience a little unappealing. However, I appreciated that they cut the toast into bite sized pieces. I would definitely recommend this place if you want coffee but want to try something different with a twist because they truly had so many different flavors.

Tera Coffee in El Segundo is the kind of spot you stumble into and immediately feel cooler for knowing about. Pro tip: you enter through Second Wind Restaurant (which I'm definitely trying next time). The vibe is cute and playful, and just the right amount of quirky. The service is ridiculously fast. I blinked, and my iced Spanish latte was in my hand, looking all photogenic and tasting like a creamy, caffeinated hug. The menu has some unique coffees, milk teas, and bobas that make you want to branch out and try something new instead of your usual order. And if the sun's out, grab a seat on the outdoor patio. It's a perfect little nook for sipping, snacking, and judging everyone else's drink choices (lovingly, of course). Bottom line: Tera's got charm, flavor, and speed. And next time, I'm coming back for the coffee and the restaurant.

Found this place when our flight was delayed as it's very close to LAX. They have mostly coffees but we came for boba drinks. My kids got the emerald lemonade with star mango jelly and tiger milk tea with boba (no caffeine). They said the emerald lemonade tastes like regular lemonade with food coloring but it looks cool. The tiger milk tea is good and my daughter said the boba had a good texture. My husband got the Thai iced tea with boba which was tasty, and I got the iced Matcha Latte and I liked it. They have a TON of indoor and outdoor seating though and the prices are very reasonable. There are screens you can order at or you can order at the counter. Lady working there was friendly and helpful. Food is also available.

Cute Coffee Shop with Potential! Stopped by this new coffee shop with a free drink coupon. The barista was super friendly and helpful. They have a unique selection of drinks--mine was okay, but I'm excited to try more. They don't serve traditional breakfast items, but they do offer sweet flavored toasts and a breakfast sandwich after 11 AM. I'll definitely be back to try that! Wishing them lots of success.

Came for some late night coffee was excited to try their matcha. They do close at 11pm. I got the extra sweet matcha, the taste wasn't that authentic, more of a fake matcha taste. Green color wasn't bright green more of a brownish green :/ right away my hopes went down. $8 for a medium Out of good matcha coffee in Hawthorne area i rate this a 3/10. Did taste their Nutella toast which was good It was aesthetically pleasing it felt like a vibe in there.

I'm not a fan of coffee so I'm always deciding between their mochi, fresh fruit, or iced teas etc. My go-to drinks are the Yuzu Citrus No. 8 and Jasmine Frost Iced Tea (less sweet for both options). The Yuzu Citrus has the perfect amount of tang with a slight sweetness that cuts through the acidity. The tea flavor manages to shine through the fruitiness, and overall the flavors pair well with one another. The Jasmine Frost Iced Tea is very aromatic and brewed to really highlight the Jasmine. My boyfriend normally gets the mochi mango which has soft chunks of mochi mixed, and tart/sweet mango puree. I appreciate how the smoothie is never icy, and has a creamy texture. There are plenty of seating options for people, whether it's socializing or studying. It gets pretty busy and wait-times can vary greatly; I would recommend ordering ahead of time. The staff members are friendly and helpful. The only issue I have with the spot is that the drinks do tend to be on the more expensive side, with drinks ranging from $7-9. The matcha drinks are also not the highest quality, and often the matcha tastes quite diluted. Overall a solid spot!
