Casual cafe with various matcha and coffee options. Came here after playing pickleball in the Manhattan Beach courts and ordered an iced matcha latte. You can order at a kiosk and pick up your drink at the counter. There's a good amount of indoor seating but limited outdoor seating. There's a free parking lot. My matcha was on the milky side but my fiancé enjoyed his regular latte. A lot of people seemed to use the space for studying.
Service was great and friendly and the coffee was good. THE FOOD... Total disappointment. The ham & cheese croissant was small, dry, amd sad. It was not worth $7 maybe worth $3. The tripple mushroom pasta was the most disappointing of them all. The noodles were over cooked and did not seem fresh at all. The entire dish needed seasoning; and who knows how long those mushrooms were waiting to be used? Overall if you're going for a nice hogh priced coffee this is you're spot. But based on the food we had, I will not be coming back.
My drink did not make me want to stay. It was fine but I was expecting it to be way better than it was. It was busy but I don't know, my drink was just ok. Service was fine. There's a kiosk if you want to order or you can order at the counter. Parking was also fine.
Came here in the morning for a quick caffeine break and had a great experience. There's plenty of parking available, which makes it super convenient. The inside is really cute, with lots of decor and even a little Polaroid camera that adds a fun touch. They also have a solid menu with lunch and brunch options, which is a nice bonus. Seating is plentiful, making it a great spot to eat, get some work done, or catch up with friends. I ordered the double matcha, and my friend got the tiramisu latte, both were delicious. The matcha had a rich, earthy flavor that I really enjoyed. I'll definitely be coming back!

Super trendy foods served here! I wish I had time to try them! Coffee was super good and they had very unique store set up and logo. Some of my friends were making comments of my cup thinking I did it and told them it was just the shops cup design lol
New coffee spot in Lawndale! This place is awesome. Spacious for studying, relaxing, and socializing. They also have a dedicated mini room where people will print out pictures of themselves with a free nearby photo printer and tape it to the wall. This wall also doubles up as a gigantic chalk board. The drinks are delicious! Classic foam top heavy drinks that perfectly complement the coffee underneath that they roast themselves on-site. I got their Tiramisu cream latte and Banana kick matcha latte. Both were delicious. If you like tiramisu then you'll like this. The banana matcha latte is perfect for those who like bananas and/or matcha. They're creamy and not too sweet. They also have an entire brunch menu as well. So this place is more than just a spot for studying and socializing. We got their Dutch baby pancake which was very filling on it's own. But the highlight of our meal was their Tortilla Pizza Truffle mushroom. We had never heard of a tortilla pizza before but it was surprisingly delicious. The tortilla allows you to focus on everything above it which is exactly what I wanted! Highly recommended!

I asked for it slightly less sweet and it was just sweet enough. I am curious if it's better as an espresso late as I saw a lot of people getting those while waiting. I tried a sip of the strawberry matcha and omg it was SO good!! That one was the winner between the two drinks for sure. Definitely worth stopping by!

Really enjoyed my first visit to Stay Coffee with my little sister! The ambiance inside was dim, cozy, and super cute with a nature-inspired aesthetic that made the whole café feel relaxing and welcoming. It had a lively atmosphere while still feeling like a great place to study, work, or catch up with friends. I ordered the banana matcha drink while my little sister got the tiramisu coffee, and both drinks were delicious! My matcha was smooth and creamy with a subtle banana flavor, and the tiramisu coffee had a rich, sweet flavor that my sister loved. Giving 4 stars only because parking/seating can get a little busy depending on the time, but overall we had a really great experience and would definitely come back again!
This strawberry matcha was one of the most amazing strawberry matchas I've ever had! My sister picked me up a strawberry oat milk matcha with cream top and it's amazing. I'm coming again. Had a sip of the corn matcha latte which was interesting but strawberry matcha for the win!
4-1/2 stars This café is unassuming, but spacious that's open almost all day, perfect for studying, hanging out with friends, and otherwise enjoying a cup of coffee. In other words, to "stay" for a bit at Stay Coffee! However, we didn't choose to stay (lol), but rather get ours to go after a long day out running errands. We got the double matcha and sweet corn latte, both of which came in generous portions. Taste-wise, they were decent, with the double matcha nice and creamy (although I do wish the matcha was a bit stronger and less milk-forward) and the sweet corn latte sweet and bitter (although I didn't taste much sweet corn...). All the same, Stay Coffee is a solid spot for a nice drink, with plenty of seating to enjoy and "stay" awhile!
Came here for brunch after church and really enjoyed it! When you walk in, you'll notice there's plenty of seating, and ordering is done through a kiosk, which made things quick and easy. I was craving something sweet, so I went with the Dutch baby pancake, sliced banana toast, and an iced Spanish latte. The Spanish latte was refreshing and not overly sweet, which I liked. The Dutch baby pancake was interesting -- not your typical pancake, but more fluffy and airy, and topped with lots of fruit. The sliced banana toast was loaded with banana, though nothing super standout about it. One thing I thought was really cute was their free photo area -- you can take pictures and either hang them up or keep them, which adds a fun touch to the experience. Overall, a cute cafe with a nice vibe. I'd come back!
I only had a Tiramisu Latte but it was perfect!!! Not too sweet and the perfect balance of flavor and coffee. The girl taking my order was dyper friendly and knowledgeable of the drinks, such a great experience coming here. Plenty of parking and places to sit in a very relaxed atmosphere. Such a cute and surprisingly spacious coffee shop! It looks smaller from the outside, but there's a ton of seating inside with outlets, a restroom, and free parking, so I can definitely see myself coming here to study or catch up with friends. I tried the Tiramisu Latte Cream Top, Matcha Cream Top, and Matcha Latte with Tiramisu Cream Top. The last one was my favorite! Such an interesting matcha + tiramisu/coffee combination. For food, the egg, bacon and potato skillet was SO good fresh, and the yogurt plate was simple, refreshing, and really generous with the fruit and granola. Overall, really cozy atmosphere, good food and drinks, and a great place to actually sit and stay awhile. :) read more

I really enjoyed how this place had a variety of drinks and food! The staff members seemed very nice and overall, I loved the aesthetic of the place and how you could take pictures and they'll put them up on the wall. I'll def stop by again to give it another try! My food twin and I returned to Stay coffee today. We tried some more drinks and we had a chance to try some food today as well. The young lady at the register was sweet and polite. To me, the vibe here seems hipster-esq combined with an "influencer" type feel...if that makes sense? Nevertheless, my food twin and I still enjoyed our brunch meal. We barely made it in time for brunch, which is from 8am-2pm I believe, so I was happy to have made it just in time. I had a tiramisu latte and a breakfast skillet. My food twin had an Americano and a meatball skillet. He isn't always open to new places like Stay coffee but he seemed to really enjoy his drink and his skillet. His skillet reminded me of a sausage pizza with extra cheese . I also really enjoyed my drink and my skillet which had my favorite thing in it...tater tots!! Whoop whoop We did not wait very long for the food and drinks, maybe about 10 minutes, since the skillets had to be prepared. We both enjoyed our meal here and would definitely be back. I've been eyeballing this breakfast skillet since this place opened. I'm glad we were able to sit down and take in the good vibes today. read more
Cute coffee shop in Lawndale! I was craving a sweet corn latte and this place was the only one near me with that on the menu and it didn't disappoint. Lightly sweet, creamy, and perfectly warm on a cold blustery day. Service can be a bit slow because they get busy. It's not just a coffee shop though! They have some food that's served all day and brunch that's only served during certain hours. I want to come back and try the skillet breakfasts! Overall, a good place to work/study but can be hard to find a table. Easy parking in the attached lot. read more
I was introduced to this gem by a good friend. It was busy with people doing homework, talking , eating . I really enjoyed our visit the food , drinks and service were good . I had to try my coffee decaf due to it being the evening but looking forward to go earlier and try the real deal . The breads we tried tasted great . Being a matcha lover, I had to try this place out and I'm so glad I did. Their matcha drink options are pretty extensive, which I really appreciated. I ordered the Banana Kick iced matcha, and my husband got the iced strawberry matcha. We were able to substitute dairy for oat milk, which was a big plus since not every place offers that option. They advertise having "ceremonial grade matcha," and as enthusiasts, my husband and I both agreed it truly tasted like it. My husband loved his drink and mentioned that the strawberry flavor wasn't too overpowering or overly sweet. It was perfectly balanced. We both really enjoyed the Banana Kick and definitely recommend it. The banana flavor tasted natural and creamy without being too sweet. I also loved the little banana puff on top (my baby stole one and ate it right up, lol). The girl who took our order was super friendly, and the vibes inside were really cozy. It honestly made me wish I was a college student again because this seems like the perfect study spot. A lot of people were there working on their computers or reading, fully focused. There's plenty of seating and free WiFi, which makes it even better. I'll definitely be back to try their food next time. Their menu looks extensive, with breakfast options like toast, pancakes, eggs, and yogurt, plus lunch items like pizza, pasta, and sandwiches. They also had pastries I can't wait to try. I wanted to Stay here and hangout. I ordered the Banana Matcha and my wife order the corn cream matcha. I enjoyed my drink over hers, but her drink was just as solid of a drink. As we walked out, they brought out Dutch Oven Pancakes that looked AMAZING. They have a free quick photo booth and interesting decor inside. Check them out when you're in the area. I don't think you'll be at all disappointed with anything you get here. read more
Finally had the chance to check this out. I was excited for the Matcha Corn Latte. I had it with almond milk and it did not disappoint. It was everything I hope it would be. The matcha was not overpowering and the corn flavor was a nice balance. We did get the truffle mushroom pasta. I was hoping for a little more truffle taste but it was still good. The staff were very friendly. They were all pleasant to talk to and the ambience was clean and conducive to working or lounging. They have a little black and white Photo Booth that was pretty cool. They have an exit way where you can post your photo on the wall if you like. I'll go back to try the truffle mushroom pizza! read more

Stay takes hospitality to the next level with an inviting, low-key vibe and a complimentary photo booth to capture the moment. The honey oat latte is nearly on par with Nook's, and the corn latte is a bit less sweet than what you might get at Smoking Tiger (but still packing great flavor). There is a kitchen at Stay making food to order, including Dutch babies and various egg, toast, and skillet breakfast options (served until 2 PM). There are also café-style lunch offerings. The space is small but reminiscent of Awakenings or Mai, and equally as hospitable. On a Saturday, it was less crowded than some of the other South Bay coffee spots. Worth a try for sure. read more
Honey Butter croissant is AMAZING. Great for studying! Banana matcha was yummy. Ambiance is cute. Love Stevie Nicks playing in the background and the occasional 90s hits. It's packed on weekends, so get your study spot early. I love that new coffee spots are popping up. Their breakfast doesn't start until 8am, but the owner offered to make breakfast earlier since I was there so early on a 6am, Wednesday. I declined, but that was such a nice gesture. Service is great. Workers are sweet. Come by at 6am! It's nice to be able to start the days early here. I wish this spot nothing but success! read more

Sweet coffee shop. They have a very large interior sitting area with lots of tables and outlets that looks great for working away on a laptop or just reading a book. The cold brew was wonderfully strong and delicious. Nice place. read more
I've been back a few times since my first review, and they've made improvements! They now have plenty of outlets - it's quickly become my favorite study spot. They've also added a food menu with pasta, pizza, sandwiches, and pastries, which I have yet to try. read more

This is an aesthetic, new cafe in Lawndale perfect for studying and getting working done at. They open early at 7am and close late at 11:30pm and they offer a wide selection of food, coffee, and matcha drinks. The workers were very friendly and helpful with recommendations. I tried their double matcha and really enjoyed their richness of the matcha! They also have a sweet corn matcha, strawberry matcha, and banana matcha that my friends enjoyed. The banana matcha came with puffs and was on the sweeter side. I also tried their pesto pizza which was really good! It has a very thin crust with a crispy crust and great flavor. My friends and I enjoyed using the free photo booth area which took black and white photos and printed out paper photos. They also have a fun area with chalk walls where you can draw and doodle at. read more

The tiramisu latte got me and hooked me. I'll definitely be back again. Not only do they have coffee, green tea, and food but they also have cheesecakes. Stopped by for a quick caffeinated pick me up and was not disappointed! Their matcha latte is hand whisked and is the most vibrant color. It's earthy and slightly nutty. The added sweetness is just right. There's also a little photobooth which is super cute. read more
I love cute coffee houses and walking into Stay Coffee, I knew this was a place I would want to stay awhile. This coffee shop is large and spacious with plenty of seating - including two large rattan egg chairs. Aside from being impressed with their big space, I was equally impressed with their menu. They not only have a great selection of drinks (plenty of matcha options) but a lot of savory dishes. They've got brunch menu from 8am to 2pm that includes Dutch baby pancakes, open toast, skillets and breakfast plates. They've also got an all day menu that has salads, tortilla pizzas, pastas and sandwiches. For my first visit here, my friend and I got to try their Meatball and Egg Skillet ($15), their Truffle Garlic Mushroom Pasta ($15) and their Banana Kick Matcha Latte ($7). The Truffle Garlic Mushroom Pasta came out first. I loved the thin pasta noodles and the flavors of truffle and garlic in this dish. It was a great pasta but I do want to say I was disappointed to later find out that they forget to include the mushrooms. I didn't realize it until I was home later and I was looking at other yelpers' photos. It was a good pasta overall but the mushrooms would have given an additional nice depth of flavors. The Meatball and Egg Skillet was also a tasty dish. I enjoyed the rich marinara sauce over the two eggs, mozzarella and meatballs. This was definitely a very fulfilling breakfast dish. Last but not least was their Banana Kick Matcha. Sometimes I find that coffee shops have matcha drinks that are too strong. That is not the case here at Stay Coffee. At first sip, I was so impressed with the perfect balance of the sweet banana and the earthy matcha. It's definitely one of the best matcha drinks I have ever tried. It was so creamy and delicious. I also loved the creative add of banana puffs at the top of this drink. It was a cute and tasty topping. I would get this drink again and am excited to try their other drinks. Aside from the great space and tasty food and drinks, they have a cool black and white photo box. You can take a picture to keep or to leave to add to their wall. (Note: the photos come out in a really thin piece of paper- I do wish it was more like Polaroids but hey can't complain too much about free photos! ;) They also have a chalk board wall where you can leave a message. These little tidbits add a personal and unique touch to this spot too! I am an already fan of Stay Coffee and I know will be back again! I was slightly sad due to the fact that they forgot the mushrooms in my pasta :(. Not a big deal however and I know that next time, my meal and coffee will be even better. read more
Just found a great new coffee shop in Lawndale! Super convenient to El Camino College and the 405!! I've already been here a couple of times and plan on going back tomorrow. BTW Stay Coffee is open until 11:30pm every night something that the SouthBay has desperately needed. That's right I like a nice double espresso at 11pm ;) The baristas and owners are very friendly and make delicious drinks :) The food also looks wonderful and I cant wait to try the Dutch Baby :) We had a Banana Kick Matcha Latte & Tiramisu Cream Latte and both were excellent not to sweet with nicely balanced flavors. I've also had a Cortado that was very good! The shop itself is big with lots of seating including a couple of large shared tables. Stay Coffee is a newer cafe that opened up in South Bay! I love how spacious the place is, the cute decorations and attention to detail! The cafe doesn't only serve coffee and matcha drinks, they also serve brunch and food part of the all day menu! The Dutch Baby Pancake came with bacon, eggs, and potato tots, it was delicious! The Pesto Tortilla Pizza is simple but topped with lots of cheese, pesto, and arugula. I definitely recommend checking out Stay Coffee if you're in the area! read more

The food was really fresh and the coffee was good. It wasn't really that memorable, but definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. The vibe is super cute. Definitely a great place to do some work or homework. read more
