Vienna Matcha
Carlos C.

We are not morning people without our coffee, so a wait can feel extra long There was a short line (like 5 people ahead) but we were in and out in under 10 minutes. * Vibe: Chill spot but surprisingly busy for Saturday 8am * What we ordered: * Vienna Latte - 10/10 * Vienna Matcha + 1 espresso shot - 10/10 * Chocolate espresso bread - rich and satisfying * Ham & cheese croissant - warm, flaky, and hit the spot

Strawberry matcha and ube butter cookie latte

YUMM! Loved this coffee spot and the unique flavor combinations! I am always on the hunt for ube coffee spots and this one was definitely top 5! There was a line that wrapped around the corner of the building, but service was fast and we got in within 15 minutes. Drink came out fast after ordering too. There is limited seating - so not ideal to work in (if that is what you are looking for). The Ube Buttercookie Latte was SOOO good! Something about the ube and the buttercookie made a really good combination. I wish they had a location in the bay area. The only downside is the price... why is coffee so expensive now! The strawberry matcha was not my cup of tea (ha)! I just generally dont like that combination. But my friend said she really liked it!

Yeems is soooo good. There's usually a line, but having their own parking lot makes the stop much easier. The Ube buttercream coffee was a bit too sweet for my personal taste, but still good. The real winners are the Vienna lattes (both the regular and the matcha). Their house-made Vienna cream is what makes them stand out.... it's absolutely delicious and not overly sweet once you mix it in properly. I love it so much I'm actually trying to figure out how to make that cream at home!

Their lattes have such a unique house made flavor. There's usually a line and they get through the orders very fast. Cute little coffee spot, but usually grab and go. I like their Vienna Latte. I haven't tried the Butterceam Latte yet.

Stopped in for a quick pick me up. Service staff was kind and efficient. There are a few small tables inside, but with the narrow layout of store, I'd imagine it can feel a bit claustrophobic when it gets crowded. ESPRESSO TONIC: 4/5. The tonic was sour in a citrus (lime) kind of way, as opposed to a quinic acid way, which is a matter of preference. VIENNA LATTE: 3/5. Very decadent, a little too sweet for me. It was like drinking a toasted marshmallow. VIENNA MATCHA: 5/5. I adjusted the sweetness to 75% and was very happy with it. They use very high quality matcha, and the drink is quite matcha-forward in flavor, with a velvety mouthfeel.

Was recommended to try Yeems Coffee by a coworker, finally stopped by today. I've seen long lines on weekends, so I went on a less busy day. Ordered their popular Vienna latte with almond milk, and it was really good. Slightly on the sweeter side, but it didn't overpower the drink, it actually complemented the coffee really well. Smooth and well balanced. The shop is located in a small plaza, and the workers were friendly and helpful. Side note: they do not accept cash, so be sure to bring a card. Would recommend and definitely come back.

Near the gardena kaiser. Has their own parking lot so parking isnt an issue. They are open early and can get busy at certain times. Menu is simple with regular coffee, lattes and specialty coffee/latte. I tried the vienna latte, matcha latte and the buttercream latte. I liked all 3 actually. Not too sweet and not too bitter either so just the right amount of sweetness. Can get with light ice but do remember that no ice means the drink will be a bit less. Fast and friendly service. Limited cozy seating space but its nice

I loved their Vienna matcha. I also got Kanelbullar. I think Kanelbullar is the same at TOT in Redondo beach and I love the pastry. Vienna matcha was so good and I love to come back again. Street and parking in the mall as well. I just parked in front as street parking and no meter.

There's a reason why Yeem's coffee had a line wrapped around the corner and down Western Boulevard on New Year's Day! Quality baby!! My daughter treated me to a Yeem's coffee today. I had the rose flavored Matcha (10/10). When I say this is the best Matcha I've ever tasted...hands-down! Not grainy, very smooth and all you can taste is perfect Matcha and the hint of a beautiful red rose. Thank you to my sweet baby girl, and Yeem's, for the perfect Matcha in the new year. Cheers!

Ube Buttercream Latte & Vienna Matcha

Cute little coffee shop with a few seats inside, but overall a really cozy spot. We ordered the Ube Buttercream Latte and the Vienna Matcha, and both drinks looked so cute and aesthetically pleasing. Their ube latte is probably the best one I've had. I personally like it when the ube and coffee are balanced, because a lot of places let the coffee overpower the ube, but here you can really taste both flavors. The matcha was on the sweeter side, but still good. I would probably ask for it unsweetened next time if that's an option. Total was about $15 for two drinks, which is pretty standard for LA cafes now. Parking was easy. I would come back!

I must have passed this coffee shop at least 34 times before finally saying, "Okay, let's try it." And I'm so glad I did! My first visit, I ordered the Vienna Latte hot, and it was absolutely delicious. They only offer one size, but don't let that fool you--it's more than enough in that little cup. Honestly, I realized that's all I needed. On my second visit, I tried the Ube Buttercream Latte... listen-- you may wanna slap yo momma, lol this drink was that good. I asked the nice woman behind the counter what ube was, and she explained it's a sweet potato or yam. At that point, I didn't care if it was a unicorn's toe--it was amazing. I got it iced, and it was pure heaven. The customer service is excellent every time, the shop is always clean and welcoming, the bathrooms are spotless, and the parking is spacious and easy. I would go back 100 times without hesitation!

One of the best go-to cafes in South Bay! I love the Ube Buttercream latte. It has a good kick of caffeine without being too overpowering, and the Ube base keeps it smooth and sweet. The workers were very nice and willing to adjust the drink if there were any issues. The store is clean and trendy, and parking is easy! Will definitely be back to try their other drinks!

If you've been to the Ktown location, then this place needs no introduction. I'm glad to have a Yeems in Gardena now!! | v i b e | It is usually pretty busy on weekends, but I've been lucky enough to beat the rush every time I've visited. The workers are usually pretty nice too! There is limited seating inside, but I feel like most seats are usually occupied. I'm unsure of how comfortable I'd be working here because I'd feel bad for occupying seats for a long period of time considering how busy it gets. | d r i n k s | They're known for their cream tops so you can't go wrong with any of their viennas. I usually get the vienna black or vienna latte with oat milk. Heads up, their cream top is dairy-based! I'm lactose intolerant, but ordering the latte with oat milk helps reduce my dairy consumption a tad? LOL. If you're looking for something sweeter and more decadent, the buttercream latte is a good option. I'm always tempted to try their ube buttercream latte because I love ube, but the vienna is too good to not get when I visit. Also, I'm picky with my matcha, but I believe theirs is quality. It's very vibrant in green color and strong in flavor. | t l ; d r | 10/10 no notes. One of my fave cafes in the SoCal!!

The café itself is SUPER spacious with plenty of seating, making it a really comfortable spot to sit, relax, study, or catch up with friends. One thing we immediately noticed was how kind and courteous all of the workers were. The customer service felt very welcoming from the moment we walked in. I also loved that when your drinks are ready, they actually bring them out to you instead of calling you up to the counter -- such a nice touch that made the experience feel more personal. For drinks, I ordered the Oreo Matcha Brûlée Latte and my little sister got the Vietnamese coffee, and WOW... both were SO delicious. My matcha drink was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with the Oreo flavor, while the Vietnamese coffee was smooth, strong, and flavorful. You can tell they put care into their drinks here. Overall, such a great first experience and we'll definitely be back again soon!

I would imagine a nice spot to get some work done or have a nice chat. I got their signature latte and it was very good. It was on the sweeter side for me but that was just me that day. Some days I prefer sweeter! I also go a few pastries: Cream Cheese garlic bread, jalapeño spam croissant, and a chestnut mochi. I brought them home and heated them up to share and it was a hit with everyone. I assume they would also heat it up by request if you stay there but not sure. I didn't get their names but the two people that served me that day (11/19/25) were very nice and quick. I didn't feel rushed while I was choosing at all. Definitely a solid option for anyone looking for a sweet treat.

I ordered 2 drinks through the app yesterday, the Honey Bori Latte (seasonal) and the Banana Milk Latte. The Banana Milk Latte was delicious once everything was mixed well, but the Honey Bori Latte was just bitter and then less bitter when mixed. It was already half melted, there was no salted honey cold foam or Jolly Pong which is supposed to be part of the drink. I got the order to go, so I didn't notice that my drink was wrong until I got home, so I couldn't even get it corrected. I didn't realize the drink was wrong at first. I thought it was just a flavor I didn't like even though I noted that I couldn't taste Barley at all. Then half way throught it, I decided to look at the description on the app to remember what it was supposed to taste like because it tasted like an ordinary flavorless latte. The description said there's barley milk, salted honey cold foam and Jolly Pong. That's when it hit me that I either got the wrong drink or someone didn't make it right because there was no flavor of salted honey and definitely no Jolly Pong in my drink. It didn't even look like I had cold foam topping my drink, but maybe that's because it was melting already. Overall, I was very upset and disappointed with my drink, but was happy my mom's drink was fine. Now this is only a part of why I was dissapointed with yesterday's experience. The other reason was the app and workers. Maybe the workers aren't used to working with the Smoking Tiger app yet? Or maybe the app still needs work, but the drinks I ordered through the app took forever to be marked ready even though my drinks had been ready for some time which was obvious because my Honey Bori Latte was already half mixed because the layers of ingredients were melting into each other. I arrived at the cafe about 5 minutes after ordering, but the app's estimated wait time was another 10 minutes which wasn't a problem for me, especially since I saw a person waiting for his order and some people inside the cafe, although it wasn't full like usual. I just assumed some people ordered before me, so I just have to wait a bit, which again was fine with me especially since I was waiting for my mom to arrive. At some point after the one person waiting for their drink left, I realized the 2 girls at the counter were just talking and not making any drinks. I checked the app and it still said my order was being prepared. After 2 more people ordered their drinks and received them immediately, I went up to the counter, by this point it had been the app's estimated 10 minute wait. I told the girl with glasses my name and showed her the order on my phone. Then she walked toward the fridge and got my drinks, put them in a drink carrier, passed them to me and then turned around while looking at the receipt paper that was with the drinks. That was it. She didn't tell me which drink was which and they were not labeled, so my mom and I just had taste them to figure out which was which. At most places, they let you know which drink is which, so I was just confused with the service I received, especially when the place wasn't busy. And to top it all off, my order was marked completed 10 minutes after I received my order which again just left me in confusion. I usually love this place and was saddened when they got rid of their Choco Mugwort drink, but I'm always looking forward to their seasonal drinks and baked goods. This time though, I don't think I was even able to taste one of their new seasonal drinks because it tasted like a regular latte with milk. I want to try their other current seasonal drinks, but I'm also worried about what I will receive in the future and I'm not ready for another disappointing coffee any time soon.

Today was mother's day and the Enclave was busy with a lot of people. They were busy too but the time I came, the line was not to the outside window as usual and stayed indoors so it was a steady type of busy. I ordered my island matcha and sat to wait with my dog, until I just noticed the people behind me just getting their drinks first, then another, then another.. A family came in and got greeted, that was cute, probably regulars, their orders were taken and promptly made. Nice. But then the next ones also were getting made--huh? Where's mine? I thought they might have had some online orders? I was still sitting patiently in front of the pick up counter because I didn't want to bother the obviously busy lady that's super locked in. I worked in food before too, so sometimes I get that some tickets go in front of others and the steady locked in flow of the line was really cool to observe but this was a little bit too weird since--oh another one got his drink right after ordering. My husband finally regrouped with me inside because we also had ordered from the Fish grill, the order was done from fish grill, but I was still there wondering what happened to my drink from Nook--maybe syrups needed to be refilled? Maybe steeping tea?? Idk but at this point I was getting sad since I just saw another walk away with their drinks after just ordering. I sigh, my husband asks me what's wrong. I show him my phone showing the receipt of when I ordered and he noticed it's been a while and he also saw another walk away who just ordered with a drink in hand already. So he goes up to ask them if the island matcha came out. A guy from the line sees the order number, goes to their ticket tablet and makes my matcha drink in less than 5 seconds (I mean it, they're super quick). My husband beckons me to grab my matcha and I come up silently to grab it and leave with another sigh. Drink tastes great. Though the just making the drink quickly and not acknowledging/apologizing that something went wrong was kind of sad since I already felt disregarded in the first place. As I walked away I heard that my ticket just somehow didn't show up but sigh. I wish someone checked on me if I was waiting on anything. I know it's on me too for not speaking up, but I trusted the process. I thought they didn't forget about me. I was wrong. I burnt my favorite mixing bowl today, we got turned away from my fav restaurant for lunch because they were full and we just happened to be the one behind the last queue that got accepted today. I made yucky bitter matcha today. Went here to make my day better but it added more fuel to the fire. :C Sigh. See you in a while Nook. Me sad. Happy Mother's day to all moms today though.

I also noticed manyyyyy complaints about how their cup isn't filled up because they ask for no ice. Not that I am biased, but.. if they either (a) add more water; it dilutes the flavor. Then they'll start complaining that it tastes "watery". Or (b), adding more tea, it can make it taste too strong or bitter. Adding extra of (a)/(b) to compensate for the missing ice would mess up the flavor. They are not being stingy, they are just maintaining consistent quality. Other people might say that they ask for no ice at Starbucks, and their cup is always filled up. They are prioritizing customer satisfaction by filling up the cup, even if it changes the drink's intended taste very SLIGHTLY. To me, I see that this boba shop prioritizes maintaining the tea's quality over simply filling the cup to the brim. They're ensuring the taste is consistent with what's expected. They also switched to self ordering instead of them taking your order. Makes it easier but I prefer an employee taking my order. Also, the boba quality is different compared from years ago. But I don't add boba to my drinks anymore so it's whatever! They also used to make drinks really quick, it takes quite awhile now. Still a 10/10 boba shop!

Review #990 2026-060…read more Drinks Order: Peach Jasmine Tea with Crystal Boba $5.60 Passionfruit Green Apple Refresher with Lychee Jelly $6.60 Peach Refresher with Crystal Boba $7 Cafe Pruvia is located on the east side of Pacific Square Shopping Center while traversing over a bunch of speed bumps to reach the cafe. With several boba/tea shops in the same plaza, I'm guessing they're trying to capitalize on the high foot traffic from Tokyo Central & Main supermarket, & their competitors ("boba clusters")? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ On my first visit, I wasn't sure what to order & saw someone exit with a bright green drink; the cashier said it's one of their more popular refreshers: Passionfruit Green Apple Refresher, & ordered it with lychee jelly. It's basically a slushy with passionfruit & green apple, but the flavor isn't as sharp, though it paired well with the jelly. I love peach, & their Peach Jasmine Tea is perfect for the summer... light, refreshing, & aromatically alluring with the combo of jasmine & peach. I prefer the Peach Refresher with Crystal Boba, which I claimed for my Local By Toast (LBT) $5 birthday reward. This slush has a notable peach flavor & crystal boba tastes better in this icy drink because it maintains its soft, chewy texture whereas tapioca pearls usually hardens & becomes tough after longer icy exposure. The menu is compact, consisting of: milk & flavored teas, non-caffeinated drinks, swirls, refreshers, crema (milk smoothies), coffees & coffee lattes, & tea lattes, with moderate prices in this competitive neighborhood. It's a decent selection but nothing that I considered unique enough for dedicated loyalty with other options in this center. Not the friendliest of service, but they are fast. The cafe is quite spacious with tables & chairs lining around the perimeter... with free WiFi, there's usually a crowd hanging out, particularly during the weekend evenings. If they provided board games, would that be additional entertainment to entice customers to stay a little longer & have a few more drinks? Hmmm... Cafe Pruvia uses LBT for their loyalty rewards, & program rules allows you to earn 1 point for every $1 spent, & earning 165 points for a $5 discount (or 3%). I'm not a frequent patron so I haven't checked my rewards status in a while... I came back recently when they dropped a $5 birthday reward. That's when I checked my account & saw that I only tallied 3 points after multiple trips; their tracking system is glitchy & I don't plan to fix it since there's no way I'll spend enough to earn the next $5 reward. Opened during the pandemic lockdown for nearly 6 years, Cafe Pruvia announced that they will be permanently closing on Sunday, 05/24/26, but will maintain next door sister, Pruvia Coffee Bar. If you're a fan of their teas & smoothies, this is your last chance to say goodbye.
