Hojicha Creamtop. It's super milky and ultra sweet with a muted hojicha flavor
    Tiffany P.

Even with an hour til closing, there was a steady line and much of the seating was occupied. Despite not being personable or welcoming, service was pretty quick. The interior looks trendy and is super noisy, probably a good spot for socializing! I tried one of their signature drinks, the Hojicha Creamtop. It's super milky and ultra sweet with a muted tea flavor. I prefer my drinks to be more tea-forward. Not sure if we can adjust the sweetness level, but I'll ask next time and maybe try a matcha drink instead!

    Matcha latte and chrome latte

I came here on a Sunday around 2:30pm and it was packed! But I after I got my drink and tried it, I understand why. I got the Chrome latte and my sister got a matcha latte. The chrome latte is their version of a brown sugar latte with a cream foam. It is a bit sweet but very good and easy to drink. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely be coming back.

Another spot that serves a delicious double matcha latte. Quite pricy but well worth it. It wasn't too sweet nor too milky. Parking was no issue! It shares a parking lot with other businesses in the strip mall. There was a line on a Saturday afternoon. Moves quick though. But def be prepared to wait around 15 minute to order, which is not bad! There is some seating but its quite limited given the amount of people that come here. There's a shared table, counter seats (which gets covered by the line), some stools, and 2 outdoor tables. Would love to try their pastries next time!

So... is this place worth the wait and the hype? YES!!!! Chrome Coffee Studio absolutely delivers, especially when it comes to their signature drinks. If you're into coconut and matcha, the coconut matcha is pure harmony in your mouth--this smooth, nutty, creamy blend that somehow feels both refreshing and indulgent at the same time (and no, not like that lol). The space itself is sleek, open, and modern--definitely aesthetically on point. The only downside is that it can feel a bit overtaken by the crowd of people waiting to order, which says a lot about how popular it is. Still, the energy works. There's always jamming music, a great vibe, and a solid lineup of amazing pastries to round things out. The staff is clearly hustling the entire time, doing their best to keep things moving and get drinks out quickly despite the rush--and it shows. Bottom line: come for the drinks, stay for the vibe, and just be ready to wait a bit. It's worth it.

If this place was closer to where I live, I would be a frequent customer! I loved all their drinks that I tried, which included the hojicha cream top, chrome matcha, and chrome latte. I especially liked the roasted and nutty flavor that the hojicha cream top offered. Service was excellent and quite fast. Cashier was friendly and baristas were quick with getting out orders even with the amount of people ordering. They do have a nice modern interior set up with ample seating-- there was just a lot of people studying inside but they have outside seating. Overall, I would highly recommend and definitely want to try their other drinks the next time I come around!

Heard and seen great things about this place and it was on my bookmarks. I was in the area and I needed to stop by. Its located in a small plaza on the corner you can't miss it. Theres tables with customers chillin on the outside and there were customers lined up on the inside as well. Just a simple coffee shop with music, fast service, and an efficient system. Strolled in on a Saturday afternoon and there was a liine. It wasn't too bad tho. Ordered my drinks, waited about 10 mins and I was out the door. Ordered a banana cream matcha and a banana cream latte. The matcha wasn't too strong and the banana cream top was perfect with every sip. You can literally taste the small chunks of banana. The latte was very well made as well. **Drink it with the cup (and not through a straw) so you can taste the banana cream top. It compliments the drinks so well.

We enjoyed the banana matcha and matcha. Located in a strip mall, there's plenty of parking! Check it out!

I think chrome coffee is the latest hot coffee spot in the South Bay. I agree with the other reviews; the line is literally out the door. Wanted to try it so I braved the chaos. It is quite loud and the acoustics are not ideal. Not a great place to work, relax, or have a meaningful conversation. However, the service is excellent and the staff hustle to get the orders done. I'm not into sweet coffee drinks so I opted for an oat latte and also a skinny mocha. Drinks were solid but not the best ever. There is a great display of pastries. The kouign-amann was pretty good (not sure where they get their baked goods from). I'm sure the hype will eventually die down and it'll settle into a more peaceful coffee shop. There is one large table in the center and counter seating by the window. Unfortunately the line is so long and winding that the counter seating is inaccessible.

This is a newly opened coffee shop in Torrance. It's been very busy, so the wait can be quite long. Seating is limited, and it tends to get a bit loud inside. Parking is decent, though, with additional spots available in the back. Prices are similar to other coffee shops in the area. Their signature drink, the green tea latte with cream on top, is definitely worth trying. It's really delicious.

Chrome Coffee Studio easily falls in my top 3 favorite places to grab matcha in the South Bay. Only con I can think of is the limited, semi-cramped parking. Depending on when you come in, lines can get pretty long BUT...! they move quickly :') The Rundown: Clean interior, decent amount of seating for a small building, friendly customer service, consistent delicious quality across all items I've ordered so far: - Chrome Matcha Latte - Banana Cream Matcha Latte - Hojicha Latte - Chocolate Croissant - Big Cookie Big fan of the texture of both matcha drinks. Bouncy, creamy, and smooth - all the makings for great sweet treats and morning pick me ups on the way to work. If you frequently visit, think of punching in your number to collect rewards for a free drink down the line. I'm considering trying the Biscoff Latte and passionfruit pastry the next time I stop by!

Located off Sepulveda Blvd in Torrance. In the little strip mall it used to be Coco Sushi I believe I never tried that place it was on my list but now it's gone and this is now Chrome Coffee Studio parking is shared with all the businesses in this strip mall. They have selections of coffees, espressos, Matcha's and Teas along with some pastries. Not a big place there is some seating along the window side and a large table and some bench seating along the wall. This place does get busy but the service is pretty quick. The staff is great as well. I got yup that's right Strawberry Matcha latte it was good and on par this place is one of my top spots now in the South Bay Torrance area. Overall had a great drink and the place is very nice I will be back again.

I literally cannot stop thinking about the Coconut Matcha. It might possibly be the best drink that I have ever had in my life. Coconut Matcha - I did some research and it's often called Coconut Cloud Matcha. It is coconut water with matcha cream. At first, I didn't think I'd like it as much as a regular matcha, but I am so glad I got it. I got it with 1/2 agave instead of full, and I could have went without any agave because of the natural sweetness of the coconut water and the sweetness of the matcha cream. Mixed together, it was the perfect balance of coconut and matcha. It was creamy and refreshing. HIGHLY recommend. Probably one of the best things I have had in a very long time.

Heard about this place and decided to see what hype was about. Parking: very tight. One way in & one way out. Inside: very busy on a Friday (lunch time). Long line of customers ordering. We heard that weekends are busier. Ambiance: nice, quaint place with nice decor & furniture. But a bit loud inside. Ordered the banana matcha latte and matcha latte. Price: about $7 per drink + extra for milk substitute and tip. Wait: do not let the long line intimidate you. Our lattes came out fairly quick considering the many orders in front of us. Service: friendly staff. They sell merch and they have a bathroom. Thats a plus! Overall: we would come back as their specialty drinks were actually good. Only downside is- it was a bit chaotic in there and it sounds like it's even worse on the weekends. Parking is not the best.

You can tell they put a lot of effort into their food and drinks. As for the ambiance, it's perfect for those who want to hang out and catch up with friends/family or to study. When I visited, there were easily 5 other groups and individuals studying here. I have a big soft spot for banana flavored items. A BIG SOFT SPOT. Banana Cream Pie Latte - this one carries the biggest punch for banana lovers. Banana cream the entire way from start to finish. Not too sweet. Awesome foam top too. I highly recommend drinking these without the straw. Foam top drinks are best appreciated when you get a nice 50:50 ratio of the foam and drink. Banana Matcha Latte - the name speaks for itself. It's a nice mixture of both. So if you're looking to feel a little healthier with the matcha element, then go for it. This was probably the prettiest drink of the 3 that we had. Americano - delicious and got the job done here. I naturally enjoy Ethiopian and Colombian beans. I brew them often at home. I was definitely wide awake after these drinks lol Strawberrynana Waffle - If you LOVE belgian-style waffles like me, then you'll find yourself ordering this again and again. It wasn't too sweet but sweet enough to easily go through 2 or 3 of these plates if you're crazy enough. Banana Walnut Honey Bread - the best for last! I really loved eating brick toast growing up. There were so many stores back in the day that sold them, and now I can't find them as easily. In fact, Caffe Bene is the only place in the South Bay that I know that sells them. This one brought me back to the past and put a gigantic smile on my face. Delicious, perfectly sweet, balanced, and finished wanting more. Highly recommend!

One thing was immediately clear: everyone was ordering the snowstorm. Most people seemed to go with either the matcha or the original, though they also had other flavors like sesame. Naturally we followed the crowd and ordered the matcha. It's matcha soft serve topped with chestnuts, and it turned out to be a great little pre-dinner snack -- creamy, earthy, and not overly sweet. What surprised me most was that they carry different types of chestnuts. I preferred the smaller ones, which were softer, more moist, and sweeter. The larger ones were firmer, but you can buy them already peeled, which honestly feels like a luxury if you've ever battled chestnut shells before. It's a quirky specialty shop, but a fun one to browse. And judging by the number of snowstorms coming out of the kitchen, that's clearly the move here.

It had some sweetened chestnuts inside which was really nice. It came out hot and went well with the ice cream. They also have cookies, donuts, and a variety of ice creams as well. They also have drinks like their chestnut milk too. For soft serve they have their fuji soft serves which comes with toppings. I want to come back to try their other items. The people behind the counter wasn't the friendliest and out items took awhile. The inside is small and casual and not really anywhere to sit. But they do have seating outside. Today was mother's day and the Enclave was busy with a lot of people. They were busy too but the time I came, the line was not to the outside window as usual and stayed indoors so it was a steady type of busy. I ordered my island matcha and sat to wait with my dog, until I just noticed the people behind me just getting their drinks first, then another, then another.. A family came in and got greeted, that was cute, probably regulars, their orders were taken and promptly made. Nice. But then the next ones also were getting made--huh? Where's mine? I thought they might have had some online orders? I was still sitting patiently in front of the pick up counter because I didn't want to bother the obviously busy lady that's super locked in. I worked in food before too, so sometimes I get that some tickets go in front of others and the steady locked in flow of the line was really cool to observe but this was a little bit too weird since--oh another one got his drink right after ordering. My husband finally regrouped with me inside because we also had ordered from the Fish grill, the order was done from fish grill, but I was still there wondering what happened to my drink from Nook--maybe syrups needed to be refilled? Maybe steeping tea?? Idk but at this point I was getting sad since I just saw another walk away with their drinks after just ordering. I sigh, my husband asks me what's wrong. I show him my phone showing the receipt of when I ordered and he noticed it's been a while and he also saw another walk away who just ordered with a drink in hand already. So he goes up to ask them if the island matcha came out. A guy from the line sees the order number, goes to their ticket tablet and makes my matcha drink in less than 5 seconds (I mean it, they're super quick). My husband beckons me to grab my matcha and I come up silently to grab it and leave with another sigh. Drink tastes great. Though the just making the drink quickly and not acknowledging/apologizing that something went wrong was kind of sad since I already felt disregarded in the first place. As I walked away I heard that my ticket just somehow didn't show up but sigh. I wish someone checked on me if I was waiting on anything. I know it's on me too for not speaking up, but I trusted the process. I thought they didn't forget about me. I was wrong. I burnt my favorite mixing bowl today, we got turned away from my fav restaurant for lunch because they were full and we just happened to be the one behind the last queue that got accepted today. I made yucky bitter matcha today. Went here to make my day better but it added more fuel to the fire. :C Sigh. See you in a while Nook. Me sad. Happy Mother's day to all moms today though.
