Came here on a Saturday morning and wasn't pleasantly surprised the wait wasn't too long. There wasn't much seating inside though. I tried the chrome and banana lattes and I felt the banana wasn't overly sweet, I really liked the cold foam on the chrome one too! The coffee was pretty solid, the baristas were all friendly as well. My only issue with this cafe is that the line wrapped around the store, but the only menu faced the door away from the line or right up at the counter. When waiting that long, I feel it helps to actually see the menu before I order and wish it was more accessible. The one menu on the wall was not the full menu just the featured drinks which was somewhat helpful.
Small parking lot in a plaza, smaller cafe. The downside is if it gets busy, it can get quite crowded. However, service is usually pretty quick. There's seating areas along the front windows and along the wall, some seating outside, and some seating in the middle. And ofc the furniture reflecting the name, chrome. I find that it difficult to find a banana cream top that tastes like banana. But I was impressed by how good it was! I was telling my partner that it's a pretty popular spot and he didn't understand until he tried the banana cream top matcha loooool. I'd def come back just for the banana cream top matcha! Lol
One of the best coffee shops in the South Bay! It's a little coffee shop in a plaza, with a sort of cool girl aesthetic and great branding. The space is a little small for the demand of this shop & the parking can be less than ideal. Matcha is known to be light and sweet and their banana cream matcha is nice and light and quite strong banana in a good way. Their ube cold foam also balances the perfect amount of nutty sweetness and cream. I went for their most recent POV husband event and this custom drink for the event was by far their best (simple agave vanilla cold foam matcha) and I hope they bring it back for the permanent menu
Chrome Coffee Studio is a new Asian-inspired coffee shop in the South Bay that specializes in matcha and creative espresso drinks (coffee beans are sourced from Stereoscope Coffee). The coffee shop recently had a collaboration with online influencer POV Husband for the POV Matcha pop-up in August 2026 and there was a long waiting line wrapped around the block. I came here on a casual Saturday afternoon and there was a minimal wait. [Parking]: Easy and free strip mall parking. [Atmosphere]: There are one long table, one bar table, and bench seating with about 20+ seats inside the shop. There are two small outdoor tables just outside of the shop. [Menu]: According to one of the posted metal plaques, some of the signature drinks are Chrome Latte or Matcha, Cream Top, Cold Brew Latte, Banana Cream Latte (Espresso or Matcha), Coconut Matcha, and Hojicha Cream Top. *** Banana Cream Matcha (matcha + milk + agave + banana cream + cinnamon - $7.25): Excellent banana cream as it had a really strong flavor. While the matcha portion was watery, the matcha flavor remained strong. Once the entire drink was stirred, the drink tasted a bit more balanced. *** A solid matcha shop in the South Bay, but their cream is quite sweet and I would get it at 75% sweetness instead.
I drove by chrome today and noticed there wasn't a line wrapped around the building so naturally, I had to stop by. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and noticed how friendly and accommodating the baristas were which was nice. The space itself is very clean and nicely laid out, and has ample seating if you're trying to hang out for a bit with your coffee. I ordered the chrome latte and that is solely the reason for the 4 stars. I was debating between 3 and 4 to be honest but I went with 4 because the drink was...okay. Nothing special , not strong and TO ME slightly on the sweeter side. If you're into that type of coffee then this is the your spot ! I would prefer mine stronger but it was a decent drink nonetheless.

So I came here because of a social media post that I saw and I have never been here so I figured why not get two birds with one stone. I arrived around 10:30 am and I was top 10, so it was good I got here earlier than originally planned. Since I had a few hours before the special pop-up event with the special guests, I needed some coffee. After talking to some people in line on what is good here, I decided on the banana cream latte and it was a good choice. I asked for it to be less sweet and it was perfect. I did not need to do anything to it. After the three snd a half hour wait, it was time for the event. It was well worth the wait as I got the complimentary Matcha drink, choice of POV_Husband Merch, and pictures with the husband and wife Social Media Influencers. As for Chrome Coffee Studio, if you like matcha drinks or real good robust flavor coffee drinks hot or iced, this place is worth the try. Do not get discouraged if you see a long line because they are fast, friendly and efficient.
I ordered the regular matcha latte, and my drink came out within just a few minutes despite how busy they were on a Sunday. I'm sure the recent hype from POV Husband's shoutout has something to do with the crowds, including me! There's a long communal table inside, along with a couple of benches with small tables. There are also a two tables outside, but it seems like most people grab their drinks to go. My matcha latte was smooth, creamy, and I could definitely taste the matcha. I'll definitely come back and try some of their other matcha drinks next time.
I got to try an iced matcha latte with almond milk at the POV Husband pop up. I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the drink despite how busy they were. The staff members were all friendly and provided great customer service. I would definitely come back for more matcha the next time I'm in the area.
This place was great!! We went on a Wednesday morning around 7am when they opened, which was the perfect time. There's a free parking lot outside, with plenty of spaces to choose from! I got the banana matcha, and it was DELICIOUS. The matcha flavor was really good, not grainy, and a really good color. The banana side of it wasn't too sweet, and the flavor was really good. Service was great, they were super nice and very quick. The ambiance was great, there was a good amount of seating but I'd definitely note that it fills up quick once it started to get busy around 9am. I'll definitely be back!!
Came on Monday morning and the cashier was nice! Tried the ube matcha and it was delicious! They really nailed the thickness and sweetness of the ube cream! I don't like a lot of the ube matchas I've had at other places, but i recommend it here!
Peak status - is exactly what you get when drinking Chrome coffee- order for today- UBE CREAM LATTE- smooth as silk, mellow taste of ube mixed with the finest strong coffee beans. Give it a swirl and the combination is complete a creamy textured coffee with a soft hue of purpleness. Second time here- just noticed the chrome splotch on the wall- great talking piece. Reminds me of a cool word bubble from a comic strip. Thank you Clyde for being professional, five stars for Clyde!!
Chrome coffee is a stand alone brick and morter within a shopping center in Torrance. Nice and modern and absolutely loved the concept of having a refreshing coconut matcha, which I absolutely loved. Only reason why I knocked off a star because it was overly crowded with little seating and there was a good amount of staff behind the counter, but it took some time for the staff to recognize that I needed something. Customer service wasn't as up to par as many other coffee shops, but overall, the drink itself is what really stood out for me. Perhaps it was just a one, off day, but still decent enough for me to go back on a not so busy day.
Another spot that serves a delicious double matcha latte. Quite pricy but well worth it. It wasn't too sweet nor too milky. Parking was no issue! It shares a parking lot with other businesses in the strip mall. There was a line on a Saturday afternoon. Moves quick though. But def be prepared to wait around 15 minute to order, which is not bad! There is some seating but its quite limited given the amount of people that come here. There's a shared table, counter seats (which gets covered by the line), some stools, and 2 outdoor tables. Even with an hour til closing, there was a steady line and much of the seating was occupied. Despite not being personable or welcoming, service was pretty quick. The interior looks trendy and is super noisy, probably a good spot for socializing! I tried one of their signature drinks, the Hojicha Creamtop. It's super milky and ultra sweet with a muted tea flavor. I prefer my drinks to be more tea-forward. Not sure if we can adjust the sweetness level, but I'll ask next time and maybe try a matcha drink instead! read more
Went to Chrome Coffee Studio and got the biscoff latte (25% sweet) and the coconut matcha. In my opinion, the biscoff latte was still really sweet even at 25%, but I think it's mainly because of the biscoff itself and the cold foam but it is still good if you like sweeter drinks though as this is also one of the more popular drinks. The coconut matcha was really good and light, and I felt like it was made really well with a nice balance between the coconut and matcha flavor. I went on a Sunday afternoon and the line was literally out the door. Ended up waiting around 30 minutes or probably a bit more. Personally I don't think it was worth that long of a wait, but the coffee itself is pretty good, so I'd maybe come back if I'm in the area and there's no line. There's limited seating inside (or at least it felt like it because of the amount of people they had inside that day, but I did notice a couple people getting work done and studying. The service was great though as everyone was really sweet, helpful, and gave great recommendations. Parking was also easy since they have a lot. read more
If this place was closer to where I live, I would be a frequent customer! I loved all their drinks that I tried, which included the hojicha cream top, chrome matcha, and chrome latte. I especially liked the roasted and nutty flavor that the hojicha cream top offered. Service was excellent and quite fast. Cashier was friendly and baristas were quick with getting out orders even with the amount of people ordering. They do have a nice modern interior set up with ample seating-- there was just a lot of people studying inside but they have outside seating. Overall, I would highly recommend and definitely want to try their other drinks the next time I come around! read more

Amazing amazing! I went on a weekend morning not super busy at all. Lots of parking available. I ordered the chrome matcha (which is like a double matcha) and their matcha croissant. Both were amazing. The matcha is very rich and the cup is a decent size. Service was quick too. Will definitely be back! :) read more
Heard and seen great things about this place and it was on my bookmarks. I was in the area and I needed to stop by. Its located in a small plaza on the corner you can't miss it. Theres tables with customers chillin on the outside and there were customers lined up on the inside as well. Just a simple coffee shop with music, fast service, and an efficient system. Strolled in on a Saturday afternoon and there was a liine. It wasn't too bad tho. Ordered my drinks, waited about 10 mins and I was out the door. Ordered a banana cream matcha and a banana cream latte. The matcha wasn't too strong and the banana cream top was perfect with every sip. You can literally taste the small chunks of banana. The latte was very well made as well. **Drink it with the cup (and not through a straw) so you can taste the banana cream top. It compliments the drinks so well. read more

The coffee shop is located in a shopping center. Went during the week and the line was all the way to the door. They have different variety of drinks and pastries. I got the banana cream matcha and my friend got the coconut water matcha. They both had good flavors. Will come again to drink a different drink read more

We drove over from Long Beach after my cousin invited us to check out Chrome Coffee Studio in Torrance, and the experience was flawless from start to finish. The shop is exceptionally clean, organized, and tidy. Although the line wrapped out the door, the wait time was minimal because management clearly properly staffed the floor to handle high-volume rush hours efficiently. James assisted us at the register and provided outstanding, prompt service. We ordered the Chrome Latte, Banana Cream Latte, and Strawberry Milk. Every item was crafted with precision, well-balanced in flavor, and clearly made from quality ingredients. The pricing is entirely fair and accurately reflects the caliber of product and service delivered. Highly recommended five-star spot, well worth the drive. read more
I think chrome coffee is the latest hot coffee spot in the South Bay. I agree with the other reviews; the line is literally out the door. Wanted to try it so I braved the chaos. It is quite loud and the acoustics are not ideal. Not a great place to work, relax, or have a meaningful conversation. However, the service is excellent and the staff hustle to get the orders done. I'm not into sweet coffee drinks so I opted for an oat latte and also a skinny mocha. Drinks were solid but not the best ever. There is a great display of pastries. The kouign-amann was pretty good (not sure where they get their baked goods from). I'm sure the hype will eventually die down and it'll settle into a more peaceful coffee shop. There is one large table in the center and counter seating by the window. Unfortunately the line is so long and winding that the counter seating is inaccessible. read more
This is a newly opened coffee shop in Torrance. It's been very busy, so the wait can be quite long. Seating is limited, and it tends to get a bit loud inside. Parking is decent, though, with additional spots available in the back. Prices are similar to other coffee shops in the area. I literally cannot stop thinking about the Coconut Matcha. It might possibly be the best drink that I have ever had in my life. Coconut Matcha - I did some research and it's often called Coconut Cloud Matcha. It is coconut water with matcha cream. At first, I didn't think I'd like it as much as a regular matcha, but I am so glad I got it. I got it with 1/2 agave instead of full, and I could have went without any agave because of the natural sweetness of the coconut water and the sweetness of the matcha cream. Mixed together, it was the perfect balance of coconut and matcha. It was creamy and refreshing. HIGHLY recommend. Probably one of the best things I have had in a very long time. read more

Chrome Coffee Studio easily falls in my top 3 favorite places to grab matcha in the South Bay. Only con I can think of is the limited, semi-cramped parking. Depending on when you come in, lines can get pretty long BUT...! they move quickly :') The Rundown: Clean interior, decent amount of seating for a small building, friendly customer service, consistent delicious quality across all items I've ordered so far: - Chrome Matcha Latte - Banana Cream Matcha Latte - Hojicha Latte - Chocolate Croissant - Big Cookie Big fan of the texture of both matcha drinks. Bouncy, creamy, and smooth - all the makings for great sweet treats and morning pick me ups on the way to work. If you frequently visit, think of punching in your number to collect rewards for a free drink down the line. I've only tried 2 drinks here but both were very good. One was the banana matcha. It's sweeter than what I prefer but the taste was worth it. The other was the banana chrome latte. (Yes I like all things banana.) I ordered it without the simple syrup and it was still delicious. The banana gives just enough sweetness for my liking. Chrome is not a very big coffee spot, but there are a few tables to sit at. I was lucky enough to catch a short line this time around, but typically the line is out the door, especially during peak times. For a small place the service seems pretty quick and the person taking orders was very friendly. She even took the time to answer a couple of questions I had about the menu without seeming impatient. I will definitely return. read more
I came to Chrome on a weekend earlier this year and I thought it was top-tier. We came around 9:30 ish on a Sunday morning and there was a long line, but we were able to get a spot in the carpark easily. The line moved pretty quickly despite being intimidatingly long. The interior of Chrome is very cute. They have both bar style seating that looks out onto the street, ideal for laptop work, or tables and chairs. There is no outdoor seating available. The staff were really nice. I got the double matcha half sweetened. It was perfect, and comparable to Stagger's double matcha. Definitely one of the best places for matcha in LA. Though it was so busy, it seemed like most people were getting their drinks to go as the place cleared out once our drinks were ready. I think on weekdays, this would be a great study or remote work spot. Highly recommend checking this place out and looking forward to coming back. read more

I don't live in the Southbay anymore, but I was born and raised here. Every time I visit home I like to stop at Chrome! It was my first time ever giving a banana crème latte a shot and it was well worth it. Staff were really friendly and helpful as well! read more

Heard about this place and decided to see what hype was about. Parking: very tight. One way in & one way out. Inside: very busy on a Friday (lunch time). Long line of customers ordering. We heard that weekends are busier. Ambiance: nice, quaint place with nice decor & furniture. But a bit loud inside. Ordered the banana matcha latte and matcha latte. Price: about $7 per drink + extra for milk substitute and tip. Wait: do not let the long line intimidate you. Our lattes came out fairly quick considering the many orders in front of us. Service: friendly staff. They sell merch and they have a bathroom. Thats a plus! Overall: we would come back as their specialty drinks were actually good. Only downside is- it was a bit chaotic in there and it sounds like it's even worse on the weekends. Parking is not the best. read more
Today I decided to try this coffee place and I asked what would they recommend, I got the banana cream latte and it was surprisingly delicious! I'm not into sugary drinks so I asked for less sweetener and it was pretty good we also tried some pastries and were good too. The place is clean and it's great for a get together with a small group of friends, it's small but it's cozy. I would definitely come back. read more
Drinks- banana cream matcha was pretty good! I'd rate it a 9 out of 10. I love how sweet the banana cream on top with the cinnamon, it mixes so well with the matcha! The coconut matcha was also really good! My mom who is a coconut water connoisseur says it tastes like pure coconut water LOL. Service - friendly cashier, fast, & efficient! Super friendly even when they are completely slammed your coffee's coming out super fast everything is very sweet but super yummy shout out to my friend Natalie for putting me onto this place. Chrome gets pretty packed on the weekends, so I didn't get to try until a recent weekday. I usually turn the other way when I see a long line, but other reviews say they're pretty quick.. There's a huge communal table in the center of the store making it a good spot to set up camp. Music gets a little loud, but that comes with the territory of working at a cafe. I ordered the Chrome matcha (essentially a double matcha) and I enjoyed how creamy and smooth their matcha was. It wasn't too sweet and I could really taste their matcha. Service was ok. Heavily staffed for a weekday, so I can imagine how fast they can be on a busy weekend morning. Great staple for this area and can't wait to try more from them! read more
Every time I've been here, there has been a line. Sometimes when I drive by, there's such a long line that I'm like ok, not today, but good for them!!! This place is popular and for good reason - I really enjoy their coconut matcha. I have tried their strawberry matcha and I'm not a fan. Chrome Coffee has easily become our favorite neighborhood coffee spot -- we come at least once a week as a little treat, and it never misses. Parking + Timing: Super easy free parking in the shared plaza. We usually go around 7am and there's never a line -- and even when there is, it moves crazy fast. What to Order (Must-Try) * Cold Brew Latte - my go-to, smooth and perfectly balanced * Coconut Matcha - unique, refreshing, and hits every time * Seasonal Coconut Espresso (my partner's favorite) - light, refreshing, and honestly something we haven't seen anywhere else Vibe: Modern, clean, and somehow always playing old school hip hop every time we've visited. Plenty of seating whether you're staying for a bit or grabbing something quick. What It's Great For: Perfect for catching up with a friend, a pastry + coffee to-go, or a chill morning reset. Pro tip: before 8am is the sweet spot. Service: 10/10 -- the staff is always kind and welcoming, and the drinks come out so fast. They're staffed really well, which makes the whole experience feel effortless. Final Thoughts: It still seems like a soft opening, and if this is them warming up... the grand opening is going to be next level. read more

Chrome is absolutely delicious! I have been multiple times and the quality of the drinks are great consistently. The matcha is rich and the banana flavor is delicious (not artificial tasting). Service is always very quick. The inside has aesthetic decor and lots of seating, but the line is often way too long to even use the seating. For example, there are a row of chairs by the window looking out to the street. However, when the line is long (always), the line takes up walkway space so you wouldn't be able to pull out a chair and sit there comfortably without having someone right behind you. Having a huge line is a great problem to have and I don't fault Chrome for it, but it would be nice to take advantage of the seating and enjoy the drinks inside. read more
I came here on a Sunday around 2:30pm and it was packed! But I after I got my drink and tried it, I understand why. I got the Chrome latte and my sister got a matcha latte. The chrome latte is their version of a brown sugar latte with a cream foam. It is a bit sweet but very good and easy to drink. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely be coming back. read more
This place is always crowded! They seem to specialize in the recently popular thick cold creams so most of their signature drinks are recommended cold. They can do it in hot regardless but when you ask for it hot there is this awkward pause and they try to explain that it's meant for cold but they can still do it... and it kinda lingers afterwards lol I got the drink cold and it probably is better that way . The thick house cream makes your coffee smooth. I love this new trend because it's my kind of coffee. I also like to wait for the ice to melt so the foam dissolves more. Their matcha was thick and creamy as well. Since this place is next to my doctors I can see myself drop by after my physicals. read more
Opened in 2025 and I've been exited to go! The menu is super fun, lots of them having the thiccccc delicious cream foam top. I tried the iced chrome latte and I was really happy with the texture and layer of the foamy creamy top. The actual latte part was delicious BUT a little too sweet, so I didn't end up finishing the whole drink. -----Next time I would ask if they do less sweet for the signature drinks. The actual space was fun and bumpin. Loud music was playing, lots of seats, and table space. For the WFH folks, great wifi but only the wooden benches along the wall have outlets. NEW FAVORITE Matcha spot in South Bay!! I've ventured out a few places in this area for matcha including: Yeems, Amai, and Bada and Chrome is by far the best. First timers: I highly recommend the banana cream matcha if you like banana. It's perfectly sweet with banana bits on the bottom. One of the newest coffee spots in the South Bay and already making waves. Chrome Coffee has a nonstop line for a reason... It's delicious! The line on the weekend is always 20+ people deep. Once you order, the drink comes out pretty fast. The pastries are also really good here and they have both savory and sweet pastries depending on what you feel like. // DRINKS // Chrome Latte: Espresso, milk, brown sugar, house cream, cacao. The house cream makes it sweet and creamy. The little sprinkle of cacao powder on top actually comes through nicely. Banana Cream Latte: Espresso, milk, vanilla, banana cream. Sounds weird to have banana in your latte, but it works so well! The drink definitely tastes like bananas rather than just a hint of banana. Banana Cream Matcha Latte: Matcha, milk, vanilla, banana cream. Similar to the espresso latte, but with matcha. My sister who does not drink any coffee or tea at all loves this drink and wants to come here anytime she visits. Overall, if you're in the area and are craving either espresso or matcha, I would highly recommend checking out Chrome. It's always busy but it's worth the wait. They have a good amount of seating, but most of the time people just get their drink and head out. read more
