Delish! I got the Jasmine matcha cloud and the Jasmine milk tea was very floral/strong which I love. Balanced with the thiccc matcha cold foam. A perfect afternoon drink. Staff are very friendly! It can get pretty busy but I feel like the staff have a good system down and I didn't have to wait too long for my drink. Nice and clean ambiance. It's a narrow skinny cafe, but there's some more seating at the very back of the cafe. Great WiFi, only a few WiFi spots. I am a sucker for Strawberry Matcha and they make a decent one here. Friendly staff. Service was great. There's this place that I love getting Passion Fruit Matcha Tonic. I'm literally obsessed; it's so good, so when I saw it on their Summer Seasonal Menu, I thought I would order it. I didn't like it as much as I do at the other place. Excellent coffee and service! I stopped here at 830 during the week and was a bit nervous with the line. However they were fast in getting orders placed and even faster with getting my coffee. By the time I pulled my phone out, my coffee was ready. The barista was fast and efficient clearly hitting his flow! This is a small hidden coffee spot that can be easily missed. Found this place via google- wanted some caffeine for the road and wanted to try a new spot. This coffee shop is super cute and modern, it's very kitsch with all the airport designed things inside. We were greeted when we came in and they have a loyalty program , which I think is great. I had the first flight matcha and it was excellent perfectly balanced and creamy and the right amount of sweetness. Coffee is really good. I've ordered a few different items and never been disappointed. What makes me want to stop coming is the customer service. You walk in, you're not greated or asked to wait. S tier matcha!!! Might I say it is one of my top three matcha spots? I got the First Flight matcha, which is their version of a double matcha. It was so rich and the perfect sweetness for me. I mean, look at the color of that matcha. BEAUTIFUL. The size of the cup is good for the price too, and I savored each and every sip. I would also like to note that it's $1 for alternative milk. Service is good, and there is some seating in the front of the cafe and a small lounge/couch area in the back of the cafe by the restroom. There is a parking lot in front of the cafe with ample parking. They also sell some really cute merch that I was tempted to purchase. Located off the corner of Crenshaw Bl and Sepulveda Bl in Torrance in the little strip mall. Parking is shared with the other businesses in that little strip area so it can get filled up. This place has changed its' name many times I been here when it was Ding Tea then they changed to Lotus which I never tried and now it's First Flight Coffee. The inside hasn't changed as far as layout upon entering is the counter to place your order along the wall are some tables and seating and as you walk down the hallway to the back there are more seating basically a couple tables and a couch. I got the strawberry matcha latte it was not bad. The two gals working were friendly and service was pretty fast . Overall the spot is not bad but keep in mind there is not a lot of seating inside oh there were two small tables outside as well. read more

The drinks come out fast since most of their bases are pre-made. Vibes: not a lot of seating, so it is more of a grab-and-go kind of spot. There are some tables and chairs in the front and a few more in the back where you can find people studying/working. Drink: I've tried the sparkling Yuzu Ade and the First Flight Matcha, and would definitely say that the First Flight Matcha is the better of the two. The Yuzu Ade was just way too bitter for my liking; I took a few sips and couldn't drink any more. The matcha on the other hand, was really good! Really good coffee and matcha. I typically skip out on matcha because it's usually super sweetened or watered down. However, these guys know how to make it right! Of course, if you prefer it sweetened, you can have it that way! It's so worth it. Coffee is nice and strong too, I really like their cappuccinos. Drinks come out hella fast too! Staff is nice too. Overall the flavors are not very strong. Wish it had more strawberry and matcha taste. If you don't like strong flavors or overly sweet drinks then you might like this. I've driven by here several times and finally stopped by on a weekend to give them a try. I got their First Flight Matcha with their matcha foam. I asked for it less sweet and paired with the foam on top, it had a nice balance of bitter/sweet to it. I think I still prefer Yeem's matcha, but this is a great alternative if you're in the area and aren't planning to go into Gardena. I visited First Flight, and my first thought was oof parking is tight! Thankfully, a spot opened up. First Flight definitely has heavy foot traffic, and many frequent this cafe. I ordered an Iced Latte, and it was out within 5 minutes. While the area is fairly relaxing to sit in, the latte was a bit on the bitter / acidic side and not too enjoyable. Been here a couple times already and have personally ordered the maple earl grey matcha, first flight matcha, yuzu matcha tonic, and the seasonal summer jasmine matcha cloud! The matcha has a nice smooth and earthy taste that I enjoy, but I would definitely recommend trying the first flight matcha first as the other flavored matcha drinks can kinda of mask the taste although they are still very good! It may take a while to order but the baristas are rather quick when making drinks so you won't have to wait too long to get them. Shares a small parking lot with a few other businesses so at peak hours you might not be able to find a spot. Overall will definitely come here again to try their other drinks! read more

So grateful for a woman owned, high quality coffee shop opening so close to home. I love that they now offer a flight for their signature drinks! I highly recommend getting a flight if you plan on staying for a bit. Was surprised how tasty the peaches n' cream was! Although, if I were to get it again as a full size, I would adjust the sweetness to about 30%. You can't go wrong with their first flight matcha which is their double matcha. Came by to try a new matcha spot and glad to say I found my new favorite!! We got the coconut matcha and the earl grey matcha! The Earl Grey matcha blended the flavors so perfectly -- smooth, balanced, and still surprisingly robust. And the coconut matcha had this creamy, almost fluffy texture, and I loved that it wasn't overly sweet like other places. Just clean, smooth flavor... My friend (who doesn't like matcha) thought it was good and wasn't grassy like other places. She got the Chai w/ Cream Top and the cream top was delish. I was scared to try this place out because there aren't a lot of good matcha cafes in South Bay compared to OC/Ktown. But I was influenced by their Tik Toks, it looks like the drinks have improved since their opening. The color and quality of the drinks look way better. I live down the street and never came because of the long lines! Today I stopped by for a change of scenery to study and so glad that I gave it a chance! I got a Maple Earl Grey Matcha, which was delicious--sweet but not too sweet. $7.50 which is a little steep but on par with other small business coffee shops in the area. Seating: About 5 tables with 2-3 chairs each. Can easily get full but if you can snatch a table it's a great place to study or hang with a few friends. Noise: At 1 PM they had music on at a low volume and the espresso machines running, so I wouldn't say it's "noisey". Bring some headphones and it's unnoticeable! The most noise comes from the traffic outside more than anything. I will be coming back here more often, and it's an overall great choice for matcha! read more
