French toast latte , first flight matcha latte
Heather M.

This coffee shop is super cute and modern, it's very kitsch with all the airport designed things inside. We were greeted when we came in and they have a loyalty program , which I think is great. I had the first flight matcha and it was excellent perfectly balanced and creamy and the right amount of sweetness. My companions had a Spanish latte and French toast latte and both report them as being excellent Overall vibe is super chill and they had little bursts of long lines while we were there which was good to see. The staff seemed really happy and most of all efficient , can't wait to come back.

S tier matcha!!! Might I say it is one of my top three matcha spots? I got the First Flight matcha, which is their version of a double matcha. It was so rich and the perfect sweetness for me. I mean, look at the color of that matcha. BEAUTIFUL. The size of the cup is good for the price too, and I savored each and every sip. I would also like to note that it's $1 for alternative milk. Service is good, and there is some seating in the front of the cafe and a small lounge/couch area in the back of the cafe by the restroom. There is a parking lot in front of the cafe with ample parking. They also sell some really cute merch that I was tempted to purchase. Overall, I love their travel concept and will definitely be back to taste their other matcha options.

Located off the corner of Crenshaw Bl and Sepulveda Bl in Torrance in the little strip mall. Parking is shared with the other businesses in that little strip area so it can get filled up. This place has changed its' name many times I been here when it was Ding Tea then they changed to Lotus which I never tried and now it's First Flight Coffee. The inside hasn't changed as far as layout upon entering is the counter to place your order along the wall are some tables and seating and as you walk down the hallway to the back there are more seating basically a couple tables and a couch. I got the strawberry matcha latte it was not bad. The two gals working were friendly and service was pretty fast . Overall the spot is not bad but keep in mind there is not a lot of seating inside oh there were two small tables outside as well.

Halfway through the day and I really needed a caffeine kick just small case of the Sunday Blues. I stopped by right before closing and was assisted immediately. I ordered the French Toast Latte, which comes topped with a delicious cold foam. You can get it hot or iced; I went with iced and swapped the whole milk for oat milk. The cold foam is honestly the best part it's incredibly creamy and almost tastes like cheesecake! The shop has seating in both the front and back, making it a perfect spot for remote work. They also sell super cute apparel, stickers, and keychains. Definitely worth a visit!

Pretty busy at 9am on a Sunday. Got a strawberry matcha latte, spinach feta danish, and a blueberry muffin. The strawberry matcha latte tastes more like strawberry milk with a hint of matcha. Overall the flavors are not very strong. Wish it had more strawberry and matcha taste. If you don't like strong flavors or overly sweet drinks then you might like this. Blueberry muffin wasn't too sweet but had few blueberries. Danish was okay. Because it's mixed into the bread, you can't really taste the spinach or feta that much. Overall, might come back for the drinks.

I've driven by here several times and finally stopped by on a weekend to give them a try. I got their First Flight Matcha with their matcha foam. I asked for it less sweet and paired with the foam on top, it had a nice balance of bitter/sweet to it. I think I still prefer Yeem's matcha, but this is a great alternative if you're in the area and aren't planning to go into Gardena. Parking can be difficult as spaces are limited and the actual space is pretty tight. There are some chairs inside, but I think this is more of a grab and go place.

I visited First Flight, and my first thought was oof parking is tight! Thankfully, a spot opened up. First Flight definitely has heavy foot traffic, and many frequent this cafe. I ordered an Iced Latte, and it was out within 5 minutes. While the area is fairly relaxing to sit in, the latte was a bit on the bitter / acidic side and not too enjoyable. Thankfully, the staff were able to add a splash of oat milk, which made it a touch more tolerable.

Was craving a matcha after lunch.. went on yelp & this was the closest location from where we were at! I knew from the photos we had to try it! It's small inside and there was a bit of a wait. They have a couple tables inside & 1 outside. I like that they have menus that you can grab while you're waiting in line. I decided to try the first flight matcha with oat milk & oh my gosh!! From that first sip I knew I had made the right choice trying this spot!!! It was perfectly sweet, creamy & earthy! Next time I would love to try one of the coffees! Cannot wait to go back!!

I love this place! First of all, the drinks are really good. So far I've tried an iced cream foam latte, a strawberry latte & a peach cream drink. They each were so tasty. Then the aesthetics. The flight ticket label on the cup is the cutest & most unique things I've seen!

One of the best matchas I've had! I was getting a car wash across the street and saw the sign and I usually go for coffee but today I was feeling a matcha! I asked the employee what she recommended and she said any of their signature drinks, I went with the First Flight Matcha, the matcha cold foam was so good! I loved the ambience, they have a few tables inside. Looking forward to coming back!

Had a delicious matcha latte with matcha cream top here. The cup they serve in was plentiful and gave me enough caffeine for the day. The matcha they used was ceremonial and tasted high quality. Seating is a bit limited inside but there are 3-4 tables and a couch. Parking was no problem. There was no line to order on a Sunday afternoon.

I've been on a little mission lately to try different coffee shops around my city, and I'm so glad I ended up at First Flight Coffee. A coworker recommended it to me, saying it felt like my vibe and she was absolutely right. The place is so cute and has such a chill, welcoming atmosphere. Everyone there was super friendly, and I didn't have to wait long at all for my order, which I always appreciate. I ordered the French Toast Latte, and when I tell you it was SO good... I mean it. The perfect balance of sweet and creamy honestly the exact pick-me-up I needed that day. I loved it so much that I even made a TikTok about it, and a few of my friends ended up going and thanking me for putting them on! The only thing I will say is that the price felt a little on the higher side but for the quality and overall experience, I still think it was worth it. If you're looking for a chill spot with great coffee and good vibes, this is definitely the place to check out.

French toast latte - w oat milk. Cold foam too! Sweet but overly so!

Called them to ask if they had any blueberry scones and they confirmed that they did have blueberries scones. I drove into the coffee shop about three minutes later and then they said they just sold out. Super big bummer. Went with the French toast oat milk latte. It was definitely delicious! Decor is cute and on point with their theme of flights. Even their labels are flight-themed. They have a ton of merch. Perfect if you travel lol. Drinks are great. Super small place so this is a place where you would just grab and go. Service is not the greatest just because they are not very friendly. I asked if they had chocolate milk for my son and she said "I guess but you have to wait in that long line again." She could've said "yeah we do, but sadly you'd have to wait in line again" or something like "happy to give you a sample."

Coffee looks good But very sweet and not hot at all. Scones must be worm up but was very cold! Very unhappy!

Only 1 employee was working yet there was a line of 6 people ahead of me. 2 people who came in after me got tired of waiting and walked out. By the time I was 2nd in line, the person ahead of me asked the one lady working: "So it's only you working today?" To which the lady replied, "No, there's one other girl but she's in the back" and at that point another lady came out (upon hearing herself mentioned) and then FINALLY there were 2 people helping because before there was literally just one lady both making the bagels and ringing up people on the register which was very slow. It took me about 15 minutes to get my bagel. When I finally did get it, it tasted how a bagel should taste although it was slightly overcooked (a little pet peeve of mine is when they overcook the everything bagels since then it gives the burnt aftertaste). Only the Everythings were overcooked though upon my inspection. I also got a plain bagel and it was good. This is the best bagel shop in the immediate vicinity however I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

You get a great amount of lox for a decent price (1/2 lb for around $22). Two containers of their 8 oz cream cheeses (one original and one chive). Then a half dozen of bagels. All under $50! Fed around 12 people at our family brunch and everyone loved it. I do think one container would do for 6 bagels depending on how much everyone uses. (Definitely try the Hawaiian bagel!) The place is small but cozy and clean. I think there were a few tables to sit on but most people come in to just order and pick up. On top of that, the ladies were super lovely and even got my order going for me on the phone. I wish I was closer so we could get their lox and bagels more often! My boyfriend ordered a jalapeño bagel and she responded with "I don't see it," as if we were supposed to know where everything was. A moment later she said, "Never mind, I see it." I then noticed she grabbed a bagel from the basket labeled "wheat," so I politely said that he wanted jalapeño. She gave me attitude, rolled her eyes, and said, "Yeah, that's what I got." Looking closer, I realized the labels were actually switched....the wheat bagels were in the basket labeled jalapeño, and the jalapeño bagels were in the basket labeled wheat. I considered mentioning it again, but after how rude she had already been, I didn't want to deal with more attitude. I ordered an asiago bagel and we both got bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches. The food was okay, but honestly nothing special and not anything we couldn't make at home ourselves. Because of the rude service, we definitely will not be coming back.
