Love this Coffee Shop and is perfect to study, work, or just hang out. My first impression of this coffee shop was is a perfect girl spot to sip a drink. I had the Coconut Matcha Cloud and it was the perfect drink from presentation to taste. It seems that they used ceremonial matcha and it tasted 10000/10 ‍. There is a self order menu or the barista could take your order. Service is amazing. I was recording to create content for the coffee shop and the barista asked if I had TikTok. Coffee quality here is very good. I personally really enjoyed their Muscovado Oatmilk Espresso flip bottle!! Not a drink that is made anywhere, very creamy with the espresso blending beautifully with the entire drink!! Ashley the barista was very kind she recommended some amazing drinks! Locally renowned for the drip through the phin style coffee here's what I got to cool down and wake up! 1. Dubai Pistachio Smoothie - served in a chocolate drip lined cup and the pistachio cream it is a treat and great for sweet tooth's 2. Mango Sticky Rice Oatmilk Matcha - remember to mix this and get a spoon to get that sweet rice in the bottom. With the mango and the sweet sticky along with the slight umami of the ceremonial matcha it gives a complex yet enjoyable experience with the sesame seeds and cream foam on top is locks this drink in. 3. The Biscoff Coffee Latte with vanilla cream was like drinking the actual cookie flavor. With the coffee being fairly strong in a good way. Phin Coffee is such a cute spot and exactly the kind of place you want to catch up with friends over really good drinks. We ordered four drinks: the Guava Matcha Latte, Tiramisu Coffee, Blueberry Matcha, and Matcha Einspanner and honestly everything was delicious across the board. It was hard to pick a favorite because each drink had its own thing going for it. The Guava Matcha Latte was such a fun and unique combo, the Tiramisu Coffee was rich and indulgent, the Blueberry Matcha was refreshing and pretty, and the Matcha Einspanner was elegant and creamy. I was looking for matcha lattes in the area and stumbled upon Phin Coffee! I got the Matcha Einspanner. The drink itself looked so good so I was very excited. The matcha is more on the sweeter side rather than the bitter side, the cream in the einspanner added to the sweetness and added creaminess to the drink. It was a pretty sweet Matcha Einspanner. The cafe had easy to find parking, but it could be difficult to find the cafe itself because it still says "Boba Bunny" on the plaza sign. The cafe was very big and clean, and there were tons of tables and seating. The cafe is well decorated and very pretty. I ordered off the self-order kiosk, and there were lots of pictures. I didn't interact much with the employees because I ordered off the self-kiosk, but they were very quick with my drink. I would come here again because they have a big variety of drinks, and I'm interested in trying lots of them! I didn't get a chance to try Boba Bunny but it feels like the influence is still there. Previous reviews mentioned a re-brand and I see it. Their drinks do the job. I ordered the Matcha Banana Cream--flip bottle included and the Ube Cream Vietnamese Coffee. The cost was $17.17 including tax and tip. The banana flavor tasted natural versus artificial and the Vietnamese coffee was strong. They didn't have drink trays and "soft opening" signs are all over the place. So maybe they are still figuring out some kinks? Glad I tried them, mostly likely will not be back. read more

Wanted to get drinks and came across this newly renovated coffee shop in the nearby area. Seems like Phin Coffee replaced Boba Bunny recently - becoming more of a coffee shop as opposed to tea. There were several parties sitting in the store as well as a few getting drinks when my friend and I showed up on a weeknight. Prices for drinks are around $6-7, fairly average nowadays. Knew I had to get the Biscoff Coffee Latte with vanilla cream $6.75. This was probably the best drink out of the three, not too sweet with a good amount of coffee flavor. I also liked the vanilla cream on top as it added, a little bit of sweetness, as well as the Biscoff cookie crumbs. The other two drinks that we ordered were matcha drinks - feel like the quality of the matcha is not comparable to other stores that seem to have more ceremonial matcha grade drinks. This matcha was a little grainy, not too smooth - not the worst matcha I've had, but not the best. The matcha Einspanner ($6.99) was better than the banana cream matcha ($6.99), only because of the vanilla cream on top. For some reason, the banana cream tasted off and was more like a mashed banana puree that had been sitting out for some time. Store interior is super cute. Workers were quick with making the drinks and we were in and out within a few minutes. Glad I got to try this place! Hopefully they can update some recipes. read more

When we were in the area, I was looking for a place to grab some tea and this place popped up. What got me interested was the guava matcha, I had never seen guava on the menu before. Parking was not an issue, since it was located in a shopping plaza. The inside was sort of small, but they have a few tables. They have a kiosk to order from so costumer service was non existent. This place replaced boba bunny and sad to say it's not as well revamped as I thought it would be. Right now they're in their soft opening season with a lot of their stuff inside is the boba bunny themed, with couple indoor seating tables. It feels unorganized and dated decorations. Small indoor space though, and I thought the tables were very small as well. The double matcha was $8 with oat milk sub. Personally, I liked Boba Bunny more, as the café aesthetics fit better than Phin. Any case, the drink menu changed minimally: I really enjoyed Boba Bunny's matcha cream top, and I believe Phin still had it. However, I opted for the popular Biscoff latte and mango smoothie to try. The Biscoff latte was sweet and had nice bits of Biscoff crumble on top, but the coffee itself was watered down and not the best quality. The mango smoothie was extremely icy and not very, well, smooth. Overall, I feel Phin Coffee is a step down from its predecessor, Boba Bunny, but maybe it was the drinks I had during my visit. More great spot in Torrance! This one came with cutesy vibe being flower-decorated and heavily pinkish. Plus point with huge shared parking space. Ordering was easy with self-serve kiosks, but there were still staffs assisting you should there be any questions. Tons of things to pick from the menu, including abundant cream top options. Phin Coffee recently opened near my office, so my coworkers and I decided to stop by and give it a try. Our first impression wasn't great. Before we even walked in, we noticed the windows and entrance doors were quite dirty. None of us wanted to touch the door handle, and I ended up using hand sanitizer immediately afterward. Looking back, that probably should have been our sign to turn around. Inside, the décor consisted of faded artificial flowers throughout the shop, along with a strong artificial floral scent that made me want to walk out a.s.a.p for fresh air. We ordered through the kiosk and looked around while we waited, but the overall cleanliness of the shop was concerning. I also noticed a pot that appeared rusty and dirty, which made me question what it was being used for. Overall, the environment didn't feel clean or inviting. When our drinks were ready, they were all much sweeter than expected. I ordered the matcha served in a coconut shell, but after one sip, I ended up throwing it away because I simply couldn't drink it. Plus the coconut shell did NOT look fresh... The customer service also left something to be desired. When we asked if they had a drink carrier, the employee seemed annoyed and instead offered us a plastic bag. We appreciated the bag, but the interaction didn't feel particularly welcoming. Overall, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Between the cleanliness concerns, the overly sweet drinks, and the lack of friendly service, I wouldn't return or recommend this location to friends. read more
