I really like Sunright Tea studios, but something about this one seemed off from the moment I stepped in. NO TABLES, CHAIRS or any ambiance, aside from the bright yellow trim on walls. No place to sit while you wait. Very odd. I used the monitor on the wall to order my usual Creme Brûlée Boba Milk with Oreo and extra cheese foam - don't judge me, judgey-eyed reader! While I waited, several people came in to get p/u and a few more came in and ordered through the monitors. When I picked up my miss-matched tea (usual Sunlight branded tall cup in yellow and a white(???) lid and black(???) straw) I just HAD to ask what was up with this store. Were they closing? A teenager looked a little blank and I said, 'this place is void of furniture and the cups, lids and straws aren't uniform, like at other Sunrise Tea Studios.' He laughed and said the owner was having some finance troubles. WHOA! Okay, I was have joking, but not expecting THAT answer. lol My brûlée was good, the cheese foam perfect and the staff friendly enough but, man, this is such a sad looking studio. My wife and I came by a couple of times in the past few weeks and we were quickly reminded of how consistently tasty Sunright's teas are! Both the Grapefruit Jasmine and Lychee Fragrant Oolong with Aloe fruit teas were stellar - just the right amount of sweetness at 25% (free upgrade to honey!) and perfect harmony between the fruits and teas in every sip. Tie Guan Yin and Fragrant Oolong milk teas have also been top notch though I'd recommend upping the sweetness to 50% as the tea presence is ample. Ordering is a breeze on their touch screens and just be ready for more of grab & go experience as there's minimal seating. read more

Anyway, I found this spot while running my errands. I ordered the Hokkaido milk tea. With boba. The base price is just the drink. You have to pay extra if you want add ins like boba crème brûlée, pudding, etc. you can customize your nice level, sweetness am I believe milk alternative also. I liked my drink. The place is clean, the service was fairly fast and the employees were ok. They weren't rude, but they weren't overly excited to see us either. To get the best texture, I always pair it with both the qq boba and the soft cream pudding, which creates a really satisfying combo. I highly recommend opting for 25% sweetness. Since the toppings add their own sugar, keeping the tea base lower helps balance everything out so it's not too sweet. This is one of my favorite boba spots in the South Bay! You can order online ahead of time or just go there and order from the touch screen kiosk along the wall. Their menu is pretty extensive. I love their Mango Frostie and Strawberry Frostie (50-75% sweet). I heard their oreo brulee milk tea is good too. They also have a kids menu with kid size drinks like strawberry boba milk, etc. Like most boba places nowadays, there are many options for toppings like boba, jelly, etc and you can adjust the sweetness level. personally a big fan of their brown sugar boba texture. has a great amount of firmness and chew to it. the four seasons tea with cheese is one of my favorites and wish more boba spots carried it but is one of the main reasons i love this spot. i accidentally got honey boba instead last time which was still not bad but the combo of the four seasons with the brown sugar tapioca is top tier. unfortunate they removed all their seating that they had my first time visiting which makes the inside look incredibly barren. ordering is convenient as i usually just do it through the kiosk, although sometimes one doesn't work. parking is no problem, huge huge lot for the plaza read more

The reason I like Sunright is because they are consistent on their boba that are always chewy and drinks that I regularly order are on point. They recently took away red bean topping which we are very disappointed because my parents toppings for their drinks are red bean and Boba. Their coffee selections are a dud and definitely could be improved and have more options. My usually go to is the panda black milk tea that comes with brown sugar and honey boba. I liked the two self-ordering kiosks and how easy it was to see menu items because of the photos. I liked their snug carrying bags that held two drinks at a time. I liked how the strawberry drink was made with freshly blended strawberries. The yakult drink also had fresh orange slices. The bad: The interior is spacious but they either removed or just don't have seating (both indoor and outdoor). They were out of all of their pistachio series drinks (Dubai chocolate). Online for mobile orders they had a kids yogurt drink option but when I came in they said there was no option for that so I got a regular size. Sunright is one of my favorite tea Studios I have gone to multiple locations and the consistency in flavor amazes me because they are all really good. If I come to one of their locations, I am guaranteed a yummy drink. I'm kind of basic so I like just the traditional milk tea 50% sweetness with Boba, but I love how this place actually lets you customize the sugar level and it actually taste less sweet. I also really like the yakult drinks. I love that this location is open until nine because sometimes I want Boba late at night . And service is super quick always. It is located near Albertsons and it is your typical Boba shop, so it shouldn't be hard to find. I like how you can order through a kiosk, that way you can view what all the drinks look like. I usually go for more well known chains, but we were limited on time to drive around looking for 1, so I decided to come here seeing all the good reviews they have. Whenever there's a kiosks, I almost always opt for that option, knowing I can take my time (if the store is not too busy lol) and customize my drinks however I want without annoying the people who work here too much. My friend and I just tried this place for the first time yesterday after a late lunch. We were surprised when we first walked in that there were no tables or chairs, just an open space. Not like most typical boba places where they have seating. They do not take cash and take only credit and maybe debit cards. We both ordered the matcha milk tea with house milk which contains condensed and evaporated milk with non-dairy creamer, but my friend had boba in hers. The prices are very reasonable here compared to other boba/milk tea places! They must have been a little busy with other orders since it took a little time to get our drinks. TLDR: no doubt about it, my ABSOLUTE favorite boba spot. To say my life (and typical boba order) changed after I tried this place is an understatement. Their Crème Brûlée special is the goated order. The bobarista was kind enough to allow me to make that substitution. The first sip was full of the matcha aroma with mouthfuls of boba at the end. It was my first time trying this drink, and I can confidently say that this will be my go-to drink here from this point.
