    Fragrant Oolong Milk Tea
    Melissa H.

For a post-meal treat, Sunright is the perfect move, especially if you grab the Guanyin Oolong Mt. It has become my recent favorite because the tea is so fragrant and carries a strong caffeine kick. To get the best texture, I always pair it with both the qq boba and the soft cream pudding, which creates a really satisfying combo. I highly recommend opting for 25% sweetness. Since the toppings add their own sugar, keeping the tea base lower helps balance everything out so it's not too sweet. It's a great way to let that bold oolong flavor shine while still enjoying all the toppings at the bottom of the cup. There are 2 ordering kiosks or you can also order at the counter. They also provide samples of the toppings if you want to try any (which I did)!

I I have not had Boba for years. And I'm glad breaking that fast was worth it by trying this place out. I have a really good menu, easy to order, and fast service.

No seats! Just know there is no seating in here and they have not had seats in years. The ordering is simple - there are two tablets to order off of to the left after you've walked in. It's easy to look through and take your time, but it removes the human aspect of it. Drinks are delicious - if you've been to a Sunright you know they have good stuff! Can't really talk about ambiance as it's just one big open space :/

Orego Brulee Milk tea. Get it 75% sweet, not bad

The reason I like Sunright is because they are consistent on their boba that are always chewy and drinks that I regularly order are on point. They recently took away red bean topping which we are very disappointed because my parents toppings for their drinks are red bean and Boba. Their coffee selections are a dud and definitely could be improved and have more options. My usually go to is the panda black milk tea that comes with brown sugar and honey boba. My 2nd go to is the Mango smoothie with tea jelly. I've tried some of their special menu options like coffee with OJ and pistachio cream milk tea. Both are a failure according to my taste buds. Lol! I think the Coffee and OJ is permanently off their menu already. Located in the Albertsons Market and In and Out plaza on Artesia and Western.

    Bananas look old...

Good drinks, service depends on whose working, sometimes it takes awhile sometimes it doesn't. The bananas looked kinda .. weird though. There were like three pairs that were old and dark.

The good: I ordered a fruit tea, orange yakult drink, Oreo drink, and a strawberry jasmine with aloe jelly. I liked the two self-ordering kiosks and how easy it was to see menu items because of the photos. I liked their snug carrying bags that held two drinks at a time. I liked how the strawberry drink was made with freshly blended strawberries. The yakult drink also had fresh orange slices. The bad: The interior is spacious but they either removed or just don't have seating (both indoor and outdoor). They were out of all of their pistachio series drinks (Dubai chocolate). Online for mobile orders they had a kids yogurt drink option but when I came in they said there was no option for that so I got a regular size. The interesting: With gift cards you cannot use their self-order kiosk. They have a "shake 17 times" slogan. They have lots of SoCal locations.

Sunright is one of my favorite tea Studios I have gone to multiple locations and the consistency in flavor amazes me because they are all really good. If I come to one of their locations, I am guaranteed a yummy drink. I'm kind of basic so I like just the traditional milk tea 50% sweetness with Boba, but I love how this place actually lets you customize the sugar level and it actually taste less sweet. I also really like the yakult drinks. I love that this location is open until nine because sometimes I want Boba late at night . And service is super quick always. My only complaint is that the last two times I went they were out of coffee drinks and my friend was a little bit bummed about it. What flavor and variety wise this place is solid.

    Cute anime drink cups! @ojbaylen

Easy to order from Kiosk and wait time was fairly quick! They have cute anime drink cups! No seating but there's space for it so not sure if they took it out or don't allow people to stay and hang out anymore. We ordered the Pistachio Matcha w/cheese foam & Fragrant Oolong Lychee. Both yummy! Went on a Friday--open til 10pm.

Had to give this place 5 stars just because they made my son's day with their Omori collaboration drinks. We came on the last day of the promo with only a half hour before they closed and they were super cool. The drinks were really good and came with a custom coaster that was a great addition to the collab. Place was nice and clean and would definitely go again.

To Sunright, boba are a little bit overcook and less chewy than before. Reduce cook time to bring up boba quality. pls.

I'm not a fan of coffee so I'm always deciding between their mochi, fresh fruit, or iced teas etc. My go-to drinks are the Yuzu Citrus No. 8 and Jasmine Frost Iced Tea (less sweet for both options). The Yuzu Citrus has the perfect amount of tang with a slight sweetness that cuts through the acidity. The tea flavor manages to shine through the fruitiness, and overall the flavors pair well with one another. The Jasmine Frost Iced Tea is very aromatic and brewed to really highlight the Jasmine. My boyfriend normally gets the mochi mango which has soft chunks of mochi mixed, and tart/sweet mango puree. I appreciate how the smoothie is never icy, and has a creamy texture. There are plenty of seating options for people, whether it's socializing or studying. It gets pretty busy and wait-times can vary greatly; I would recommend ordering ahead of time. The staff members are friendly and helpful. The only issue I have with the spot is that the drinks do tend to be on the more expensive side, with drinks ranging from $7-9. The matcha drinks are also not the highest quality, and often the matcha tastes quite diluted. Overall a solid spot!

Granted, South Bay has more limited options for fancier boba shops, so perhaps its location and accessibility makes it more popular. I've ordered a taro drink, a jasmine milk tea, and peach yogurt drink from here on separate occasions. All three times have been underwhelming. The taro drink tasted somewhat artificial and it wasn't blended well; there were still chunks of ice which kind of ruined the texture. It did not shine a light to Sunbright's taro in aromatic taro flavor. The jasmine milk tea drink wasn't great in that the tea flavor wasn't that strong, almost slightly watered down. Their peach yogurt drink had an okay taste, but the chunks of peach and yogurt syrup (or whatever is used) tasted quite artificial. Their boba also doesn't have that bounce/bite that distinguishes great boba from the not-so-great. This place is enough to scratch an itch, but look elsewhere if you're into more authentic flavors, as this leans a little more towards artificial and sweet rather than balanced flavors.

The Thai tea was nicely balanced and not overly sweet, and the Jasmine tea was fragrant, thick, and perfect at 50% sweetness.
